This was the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time! I've heard so many rave reviews about this place, I was thinking it would be packed on a Saturday morning. I think we beat the rush. We were seated immediately and waited on by the nicest staff ever. They were super attentive. I will definitely be back, even if it's just for a to go order. I got the Sourdough King and my mom got the breakfast burrito. Both were very good.

A quaint restaurant to stop and get breakfast. There was both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside and it was packed both inside and out. The food came out relatively quick and the service was great. You truly felt the hospitality. As for the food it wasn't anything extraordinary but your standard breakfast. The hash browns were interesting as I've never seen it like that. I heard the cheesy grits were phenomenal.

Slow and inattentive service coupled with the price makes this experience one to avoid.

We went to the one located in mid-city on Banks street. The parking was horrible (especially since it was garbage day in that neighborhood - Tuesday I think). It's a cute little place (emphasis on the little) with great service and really yummy grits and breakfast items. Wish they had beignets.

The food was amazing! Everything the girls and I had; we enjoyed! The sourdough bread; baked to perfection. The grits were so thick yet delicious! I personally had the meat eater omelet with no substitutions. The freshly squeezed orange juice and lemonade was worth it! The service was quick and the waiter was great! The actual space is smaller than expected but there is outdoor seating also!

The ABSOLUTELY SWEETEST PLACE IVE VISIT IN NEW ORLEANS. I wish I remember our waitresses name but even the waiter that helped her bring things out was so amazingly sweet serving me and my kids. Food was amazing as well ! We sat outside and received amazing servicing along with the sweetest compliment from our waitress. I know she was surprised on how polite all my kids were but we are amazing and the service we received! Such a good wholesome place to be at.

Small place, AMAZING breakfast! Love the Cajun smashed hash and the options for "The Usual" breakfast.

This is a really cozy breakfast spot! Not too many tables so make sure to get there early. The service was fantastic and the food was really good. I got the usual which was sausage, hash browns and eggs. The hash was particularly good. My boyfriend's sausage and gravy was huge and he was really full when he finished it. Just a really nice neighborhood breakfast spot!

I use to frequent the Wakin' Bakin' location uptown before they closed down. After coming to this location, it makes sense now why the other location closed down. There is not a shred of management at these restaurants. I decided to try out this location before a Saints game a few Sundays ago. First off, its about 300 sq ft inside this restaurant, so if you bring a group, make sure they all skinny. And if they ain't skinny when you arrive I can guarantee they will be skinny when you leave this location. Myself and a guest come to this location for a nice breakfast and we were seated. They brought us a small glass of water about the size of a thimble. After that we were never served again for the duration of our visit. We must have sat in that hot, unventilated small room for over 20 minutes. We watched as many people came in behind us and ordered food to-go and were immediately given service. We watched other tables receive food, bills and the ability to place their food orders. Everything about this location is small. I wish I could review the food but I did not make it that far. I ended up leaving and going to a place where I could be served some food. Will never frequent this poorly managed hot box again. Do yourself a favor and skip this disappointing location. It is not what I would call a good New Orleans experience.
