So happy! This summed up the breakfast meal I was hoping for visiting New Orleans. I ordered the grits bowl with over easy eggs and andouille sausage. FANTASTIC. Overall so well made, not too bland, not too salty, just yummy perfection. The grits were deliciously cheesy, the vegetables were delicious, the sausage was great, my eggs got slightly over cooked in some parts but that doesn't bother me. Came out hot! Take your time but it's hard because it's so goodMy bf got the French toast. He liked them but we both didn't like the cornflakes added. For both of us it affected the texture like coconut consistency, I don't like that. Maybe a little added sweetness. But the bread is actually very delicious and well made plus the fresh fruit. If it was possible I would ask to ditch the cornflakes because again it's a good bread. He got a cappuccino he said was pretty strong, I got a cold brew, good body, and paid for a side of almond milk. We arrived on a Saturday at 10, it was slightly busy but we got sat right away. Could be luck, def by 1045/11 there was a long line. The food came out a normal quick time for a busy Saturday. And the ambience, mom and pops.Servers were nice enough for how busy they are.We did almost a 10 min walk from our Cambria Hotel. Not bad at all. Not sure how parking would be.Also two drinks, non dairy charge, 2 entrees with added meat all came out to 40$ can't be that in this climate.

Popped in for a quick bite before catching a flight out of town and it was delicious! The crepe and juice really hit the spot to me. All of the servers were so nice and seemed to work together really well. Everyone was on top of it and cross-covering for each other. It was a bit busy in the morning so there was a 10-15 min wait, but it wasn't bad at all. The crepe was really good. It was chewier and slightly thicker than I prefer my crepes, but I think it's because of what they make the crepes out of. The juice was delicious though! If I had the time (and the money) I probably would have tried them all. They all sounded great. The crepe and the juice cost the same price though ($9), which was a little surprising to me.I also wanted to mention how cute, cozy, and homey it is in here! It gives grandma's house vibes in the best way.

Probably the best breakfast spot we've hit since being in New Orleans. It gives a warm "mom & pop" feel type of diner, only it's inside a plaza type of building. French toast was so good with a slight crunch to it made it yummy! I ordered a side of bacon too. Orange juice is a must order.Hubby had omelet, grits and scrambled eggs and he loved it! Service was great, the girls were very attentive. We will definitely come back if we're ever back in town.

Let's start off by talking about the coffee. Really good and full of flavor. Our waitress told the group I was with that they get fresh from the French corridor everyday. Our waitress was so helpful with the menu and checked on us often. I had the pancakes and wow they make a great stack full of flavor. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Well worth the wait, I can understand why the regulars love it here. Love the design style and atmosphere here. This is a must go place if you're looking for great food, atmosphere and service.

Delicious breakfast/brunch/lunch spot right across the street from the New Orleans Convention Center and cruise departure port. What that also means is there will be a long line and long wait. I know so because I walked past every day for a week. Two Chicks Cafe is pretty small and houses only a handful of tables and a bar counter to sit at. This is the kind of place you go to when you want to be sure your taste buds will be pleased with scrumptious food, but you don't expect anything in terms of available service and timely food arrival.Crab cake benedict - they load up on real crab and the Cajun hollandaise was very creamy with a nice, spicy kick. All on a buttery croissant. Very rich, very savory, will make you want to go take a nap afterward. Got a side of cheese grits which were smooth and creamy, but needed some more salt.Under the sea omelet - makes you wonder if this is a breakfast dish or a dinner for two. Comes with a side of toast of your choice. The omelet was packed with seafood and veggies. Went with a side of flavorsome roasted potatoes that were seasoned very well.Strawberry banana smoothie - good and typical, nothing special about it, heavy on the iceSolid place to have a meal at if you are fine with the likely possibility of standing in line and waiting a while for food. Don't arrive when you're starving.

Mardi Gras weekend, no longer wait, customer service was excellent and pleasant. The food was good and I highly recommend the cucumber basil lemonade. Tucked in seem like a small food area, but the decor was homey and nice. Definitely would recommend.

Came here for brunch during a conference so it was busier than usual. My bf and I got sat at the bar but they seemed much slower to get to you than if you were sat at the tables. Crab cake Benedict 10/10 the salty crab cake and tangy hollandaise sauce was a good contrast. It's placed on a slightly toasted croissant so it was a different take on a classic muffin but it was yummy Papas French toast 6/10 I wasn't the biggest fan of this but my bf was. part of the bread was mushy from the milk soak so i thought it was a bit off putting. They did top it off with corn flakes or something so it still gave it some crunch but there was a mix of texture

Cute little spot near the convention center. They are open for breakfast and lunch. I chose to have a lunch. I have the chicken brie pesto Panini. It was really good. The cheese was melted and the flavors mixed together were really good. It had a crunchy bread so it was very happy. It came with a small salad that was well dressed. I also had the unsweetened iced tea. It was well brewed and my waitress made sure that it was always filled. This place is hopping at lunchtime, but you don't feel rushed. Seating is benches with lots of pillows and table and chairs. The people around me seemed happy with their orders too. I felt it was well priced.

Recommend:? Are you kidding? This is a simple yes!Located directly on the street edge and within a block of the Cruise lines, this little but hospitality is outstanding! The place is quaint, easily de preyed in earth tones with bits of New Orleans nostalgia. Menu was small and complimentary. Ordered the potato bowl, coffee and. Green Blast 'energy' drink. Absolutely remarkable and coastal taste! The accept military discounts and overall, this place is a smash hit all ran by women. -Absolutely recommend this place!
