Yummy but pricey, just be aware and make peace with it before you go and just let it happen. Food: The waffles are what everyone says they are, perfect. Light, deep, accepting. I had the maple bacon. The breakfast sampler was okay--if I go again, will skip it and just get a side of the bacon. Whatever part of the pig it comes from must be the happiest part because it is thick and meaty and sweet and absolute heaven. Service was so good. Thank you, Devin!Ambience also good, but when the place started to fill up it got really loud. Less a star because the menu is via QR code. If you're going to charge me $15 for one waffle, please give me the sticker shock on paper ha.

On Sunday (Super Bowl Sunday) we decided to give Twisted Waffle a try. We were a group of 6 in need of lunch before our 3 pm event that was just a few blocks away from the restaurant. As we entered the restaurant around 1 pm we thought surely that would be enough time to eat, but we found out that we were wrong!I'll start with good. The hostess greeted and seated us promptly. We were seated too close to the blaring dj booth and asked if we could move more to the back of the dining area. The waitstaff quickly rearranged 3 tables and accommodated our request.Once we were moved the waitress took our drink orders, later our food orders, then it's all down hill from there. We waited and waited but food never came. One of six meals finally made it to the table. He had finished eating and still no one else received their food. The waitress didn't inquire with the kitchen about our food until we asked. The waitress said a few times she had notified the kitchen we were still waiting and had to leave soon. It was now around 2:30. her. It is unacceptable for anyone to have to wait over an hour and half for their meal! At 2:45 4 of us left to head to the event and 2 remained there to wait. I asked the waitress to cancel my meal but some asked if they could have it boxed to go. The 2 that stayed said the food was bland and did not live up to expectations. In my opinion the $300+ bill (with gratuity included) should not have been paid in full. My husband and friend that stayed felt obligated to pay when they really should have asked to speak with the manager. Who wants to eat cold boxed up subpar food! I will add that the restaurant wasn't packed, but there was a large party of about 25 people there. Some already had finished their meals and others were waiting. When we saw a table of 3 get their food before us and we were seated before them that was a problem. To have that large dining space, but not enough cooks to prepare meals is unfair to customers. Stop seating customers or provide notice once seated to expect delays. Attempt made to support and I truly regret it! Waste of my time, money and left hungrier than when I arrived.

Went with friends. Everyone's food was delicious. We had the sampler platter with a waffle, the Bis-Crunch Waffle, chicken & waffles, and a Midtown bowl. My only negative was the hot chocolate wasn't very hot, but still good. Wonderful & cooked perfectly! We will definitely be back!Service was good.

I came here with my mom for brunch. Parking is on the street and there is a bit of a wait. The food was delicious. I had the creole grits and they were flavorful and surprisingly not too heavy. I would definitely visit again when in the area.

This place was across the street from where we were staying so the location was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The place had a nice efficient atmosphere to it.- my order of the Creamy Grits with Cheese Blend (Colby cheese) was fantastic. Warm and cheesy.- My side of bacon was also good, the bacon was nice and thick- My sister's twisted breakfast rice tasted good too. I had a taste and it was good.- the people who had the breakfast wafflewich sandwiches thought they were pretty good as well.- the waffle shaped cheddar garlic biscuits were also good.

Went to the Twisted Waffles during a visit to New Orleans for Essence Music Fest!The food was AMAZING!!! Waffles were so good and the service was perfection.If you're ever in the city or a local this place is a Diamond in the rough.Highly Recommended!!! Can't wait to go again when I'm back in town:)

This establishment was recommended so my party of 7 decided to check it out. We were told there was a 25 minute wait, no problem we just wanted to fellowship and enjoy the food. We were directed to a waiting area that is in the back adjacent to this establishment. The food/waffle presentation station that we passed looked simply delicious. Two members of my party decided to see why it was taking so long just to be seated and observed a party walk in from the street and was immediately seated. We politely exited and returned to the hotel. Needless to say the customer service needs updating!

Whew my goodness!!!! If you don't time to wait 30minutes to an hour to be seated and then OVER AN HOUR to get your food go somewhere else! This wait is ridiculous and for no reason place was not crowded plenty of workers. Place is clean wait staff is nice.Not sure where the breakdown is; but, speed it up! Food was good though. In closing if you have time to waste, then please check them out.

We hopped off the streetcar a few stops too early and were looking for some food. This was conveniently right next to the stop and we were seated right away. Service was slow and they don't have a physical menu. I thought my waffle was pretty boring despite all the toppings, but my boyfriend and his brother enjoyed their choices - biscuits and gravy and maple bacon waffle respectively. I also got a chai that was barely any chai, almost completely milk. I was pretty disappointed and completely unsatisfied with my meal. Despite the boys thinking their food was alright, we all agreed we wouldn't go back.
