Tims is great in all areas and a great example of the great "house food" of Acadiana. This is where the locals eat and come for their daily menu specials listed by day on the chalk board.Great BBQ Sunday dinner plates. Get there early since he sells out and when it's gone it is gone. Can't beat that.Bread Pudding, gumbo, plate lunches, fried fish plates are all really , really good. Ms Liz's cakes are to die for and she has fulfilled many an orders for her cakes during Thanksgiving or Christmas dinners.

I ordered the BBQ pork steak which came with potato salad, rice dressing, baked beans and a large dinner roll. The food was tasty and the portions were a little over sized. Had strawberry cake with a delicious strawberry cream cheese frosting. Everything was tasty and I will be returning. Catfish is served on Friday, I'll be there. The service was as it should be. They were attentive and checked back often. The restaurant is clean with ample seating.

.I've eaten here once and taken meals to-go several times.Service is nice & quick. Lotsa parking in big aggregate lot. Little shade.The various food items have been good or very good EXCEPT the "CFS'' which was food-service hospital type.Place can be very busy at Noon. Fair prices, no over-peppering, good selections.So, I say: Do come here, but order anything except the chicken fried steak.Rick.

The food is excellent. EVERYTHING is great here. And the service is fantastic, everyone is so nice which makes it all the better!!

Wow.The building this restaurant resides in was quickly earning a spot on Lafayette's "cursed business list". In the short time that I've lived in this town, it's been 3 different restaurants. This place seems to be the winner of the three and as long as it keeps up. It'll probably make it.The gumbo is fantastic, the owner is amazing, the owners son is a gem, and the place is a hometown destination. This is the place to go if you want that "pawpaws gumbo" taste!

If you want the experience of not only good food but southern hospitality, you will find it here. My husband and I went to visit our daughter and her boyfriend and was looking for somewhere good to eat so we came across Tim's, We had their Sunday meal and everything was delicious. Tim even came over and introduced himself checking on us as well as other customers, he really made us feel at home and valued which is a major we will definitely be back

One of the worst places to get plate lunches in Acadiana. What you will get is a tv dinner pretending to be a plate lunch. I thought it was odd that there were no prices on any of their chalk board menus, now I know why. Asked their hostess about the prices and her only response to my question was "you don't eat out a lot, do you?" And she was quite rude about it. Said something about it on Facebook and they were quick with the snark remarks. Like I said, I wont be going back and will let everyone I know about that place. Loved the flavor of the food, rice was a little under cooked, probably cause it was just before closing. Food is solid Cajun cooking in my mind.

Disappointed with the result of my birthday cake. Highly recommend deciding other packaging options in order to not ruin the cake before even cutting it. Embarrassed to serve this.
