What a fun place! On Grand Isle this is clearly the place where the elite meet to greet and eat after Sunday church!I've been a few times and never had a bad meal. I've dined with groups and -- despite the challenges this imposes on the kitchen and waitstaff -- had great meals. I've dined alone and had great meals.Starfish seems to be able to do it all.Couple of tips: 1) Do *NOT* skip the onion rings. You'll thank me later.2) They have an ATM inside, but they also will take a credit or debit card. This confused some of my group members.If it's not too hot, the picnic tables in front make a wonderful Al Fresco dining experience, too!

Staying open till 9pm on weekday seems to be the mark of a place that wants your business, as many other restaurants on the island are closed. Glad they were open!Really enjoyed the food here. They were plenty busy and still made room for us. Fried seafood and burgers are the big draw here. They have a decent size menu as well. The portions are very generous. You get your money's worth here and shouldn't leave hungry.

THE BEST ONION RINGS! Omg! Their fried seafood is fresh and seasoned perfectly. My fiancé had the ribeye and he said it was the best ribeye he's had at a small restaurant. We make it a point to eat here multiple times per trip to grand isle. Bussin!

The place is laid back which is nice. Food is okay. We ordered the seafood platter but it wasn't much to go on about. Im sure their burgers are better. The waitress was nice, but service was really slow. My FIL never got the water he ordered with his coffee. This place is okay for the area, but that's about it.

Came in with some fish and left with some fresh food! Wonderful place and they even will cook your catch! Beautiful people with good hearts!

Very casual atmosphere as well as the rest of Grand Isle.The waitress was very friendly with a good sense of humor.I ordered to Fried Shrimp Platter.It was pretty good! Shrimp were not huge but with the French Fries, I felt satisfied when I left.

Popular local spot, ordered couple appetizers and the seafood platter with onion rings. The seafood platter (4/5) was better than the appetizers (3/5) and the onion ring (5/5) was great. Would suggest to call before heading over as the place may close earlier than the closing time Google/Yelp suggests.

My only complaint is to be ready to wait if you come here. We sat down before 9:30 PM on a Friday and didn't get our food until after 11. It does state on the menu to be prepared to wait up to 45 minutes for your order so it's only fair. Small place with a lot of seating, pretty nice menu. Went ahead and got the roast beef poboy, it lacked gravy a bit, and meat a lot. Tomatoes were sliced like 2" thick and I had a ton of pickles (not complaining about that), fries didn't have any salt but that's no issue. The flavor of the roast beef and little bit of gravy was good, just didn't have much gravy or meat.

Super service, great tasting food, friendly service. A must try in Grand Isle. Thanks!
