Piccola Gelateria

This was some amazing gelato. Needed a little treat after some spicy ramen. It was so creamy and delicious. I got chocolate and Nutella. The lady dishing out the scoops was very sweet. This little hidden gem is right off magazine. I highly recommend.

The owner has a power trip problem. She has a nice product going, but when you are talking down to someone because they asked what gelato was just turned us off. It was a customer in front of us who asked an honest question. She made him feel stupid in front of his kid, probably 7 years old, and got snarky. Is this a place I want to return to? No. Definitely not when you're going to make someone feel bad for asking about simple questions about your business.

Oh man, this gelato was fantastic! We stopped in after dinner for a quick dessert, and we weren't disappointed. I loved the pistachio, as it carried a bold and rich flavor and perfect amount of sweetness. The owner was there, and she was the sweetest lady and so very helpful as we made our selections. I will definitely return!

PICCOLA GELATERIA IS THE REAL DEAL! Ria creates gelato with love, knowledge, and only the purest ingredients! If are buying "gelato" any where else in New Orleans, you are not eating the real deal. Other "gelato" storefronts are serving you Ice cream dressed up as gelato. Piccola Gelateria creates the softest, smoothest, creamiest, yummy goodness! She has dairy-free options that have no right to be called dairy-free. All but the Cookies Black are gluten-free. Take a trip to Italy without leaving New Orleans and visit PICCOLA GELATERIA

The gelato is so delicious, and they have the friendliest service! I got the tiramisu gelato and my date got cookies and cream affogato. Both were so good. A++ lots of flavor options too! I'll be back.

Good Lord! I haven't had gelato this delicious since I was in Italy. They are the REAL deal!! I got the espresso flavor and the owner said the beans were ground and brewed that morning and then used to make the gelato!! Cute inside seating and cuter outdoor seating with umbrellas. They have non-dairy options and gluten-free options!

I was lucky enough to get to try Piccola Gelateria at a private event. It was so good that I went back for more. I hadn't heard of them before. But I'll be sure to check out their brick & mortar location one of these days when I'm in the area.

My Church Life Group met here and I was so happy that we did! I was too full to grab a crepe but man they looked so delicious. I did however, have the toffee gelato and it was divine. Definitely go to this place with an appetite because you'll want to try everything. The owners are total sweethearts that you'll easily want to become friends with after a conversation.

The gelato was absolutely amazing, I totally recommend it. Not thrilled with the service. To make a long story short, I confirmed when we ordered that they do not offer samples for tasting, which is fine. When the proprietor was getting our order and asked me a question about a flavor, I didn't really hear or understand what she was talking about because she literally just told me 30 seconds ago a hard no to samples. I think I said that the flavor wasn't my first choice (but really with gelato no flavor can be bad, especially from here, everything was outstanding). And instead of just leaving it at that, she said well I was gonna give you a sample of it but since you said that I'm not going to give it to you anymore. So, that was that!

Ice cream is the best in New Orleans service is top tier and the decor is cool cuz of the teddy bears.
