Nuvolari's Ristorante

This is our go to for dinner on Sunday evenings as a lot of restaurants are closed on Sunday's around Mandeville and Covington. Nuvolari's never disappoints, it's a crowd favorite too. Whenever family is in town, we make sure to eat here and everyone we bring leaves satisfied with fond memories, the prices are very reasonable as well.

An old favorite in Mandeville. Good menu and service, decor could use a refresh as the layout is a bit divided. Overall a good experience.

In my opinion, a lot has changed. I dont care for the food. The caesar salad dressing does not even taste like a caesar dressing. The couple next to me had to send their food back. Service is pretty good. Ambiance is meh.

I had high hopes for this restaurant due to its longevity in the neighborhood. I will start by saying the food & cocktails were very good. However, the service and ambiance left much to be desired, especially for the price ($100/ person).The restaurant decor is very dated, and there was an odd smell when being escorted to our table. The lady who brought our water spilled some on the carpet and it took 10 minutes for our waiter to introduce himself and get our drink order. In addition, he was not very friendly, had almost a depressed demeanor about him, and did not volunteer the fish or the soup of the day. I definitely expect more when paying what Nuvolari's charges. There are many restaurants in Old Mandeville w/much better service, prices, and atmosphere.

Very nice place to eat for dinner. Not the best Italian on the Northshore but the restaurant is cozy and the staff is always kind and attentive. Great spot for a date night or for a celebratory dinner! Really nice atmosphere. Fish has always been great

Oh my gawd! Every thing we ate was SOOOO good. Better than I imagined. Hot Bread and butter to start. Wine was delicious. Every appetizer was better than the next. Our entrees were to die for. I got the veal with the lasagna which amazing!! So tasty! Melted in my mouth. Service was great. You can definitely tell they cared about their dishes and took great craft in making all their plates. Can't wait to go back.

Came here on a Friday night with family. SUPERB service by Bella, our waitress, and her assisting waitstaff. The food was delicious and served very nicely. Although we were seated close to the bar, which was a bit loud on a Friday night, we still had a fantastic experience. The general manager was attentive also and made sure everyone was pleased. A fine establishment and will absolutely return!

My wife and I have been going to Nuvo's since we were children. 40 years of family dinners, dates, proms and events! We've always loved it and were heart broken when it changed ownership but, to our surprise we have found the menu changes refreshing and some we love even better. The steak tips are now in a light bed of Gorgonzola puree instead of a bowl of demiglace. And, the Bolognese....Superb! Paired with the best servers, staff and bartenders in Mandeville, we're happy to say it's still our place of choice for date night still to this day! I do still miss the oyster carbonara though and the wife misses a good cannoli Thank you for keeping this Old Mandeville institution alive!Sincerely,Kirk and Kristin White

Delicious food and great service! Perfect setting for Valentine's Day dinner with my wife.

The food was amazing. We had the fried oyster appetizers. Beets. Artichoke and eggplant. It was out of this world. I also had the crawfish seafood pasta. Literally the best pasta I have ever had. The ownership and wait staff were amazing. If you're looking for an upscale date night on the North shore, don't miss out on this place!!!!!
