Nifty Fifties Cafe

Food was ok, not memorable at all but not bad. The biggest issue is that it took about 35 minutes from the time we placed our order for our food to come out, and the restaurant was empty. We could hear many voices yelling at each other in the kitchen, so people were back there, but we never quite found out what was going on. Decor is cute but the diner is attached to a casino so there is a very strong cigarette smoke smell when you walk in. There is potential here, I hope they improve some things because it could be a nice little spot to eat.

The breakfast was solid. The eggs were cooked well the bacon was crispy the hashbrowns could've been a little crispier. The pancakes were awesome! The lunch special with spaghetti and meat sauce in it looked good too. I sat here for a couple of hours doing some work there Wi-Fi works perfectly. They kept my water and my coffee full. Great job

Nifty Fifty's in my opinion is one of the best diners in the Lafourche Parish area. I would give it a 5 but sometimes there food isn't that good

I have never been disappointed at this place. The food is always fresh and well prepared. I do suggest the Vegetable plate I get one every time I go in there they will do a half order if you get a full order its a lot of food. They have some of the best old fashion hamburgers.

Love this place! The prices and service are great and the diner feel is cute. Would highly recommend the French toast. It's the best!

If you want the best BBQ Burger, onion rings, chicken tenders, potato skins and breakfast then this is your place. The restaurant is attacked to a little truck stop (wish) casino but its super quite. The place has that Grease vibe from the movie with good food. It is kind of a Houma staple. Its worth trying if you never had it or if you are in town for some just good food.

Awesome diner food. Friendly staff. Cute decor. Reasonable prices. Week day lunch specials.

the absolute worst, lying pieces of shit kind of workers they have working in the cafe side, and let's see where do i begin as a server who was just fired from this place by vernon, because he chose in believing all of the cooks that purposely did not make my orders until over an hour later, which in returned messed with my tip money and please tell me, i mean come on now, of course everyone in the kitchen agreed to their concocked story, which they knew would have me fired, i didn't even have a leg to stand on, me and god knows wtf the truth is thats straight facts, and to all my family who goes there these r horrible people because i am innocent but being these bitches got me from my job it is ok because u bet your ass i never would want to work for such a petty and unfair ran business, this is a first for me and i promise its the last!! i will be sure and let alllll my customers even some that has not been my customers all know the truth!! i believe in karma %

In high school I would come here all of the time. Service is still great and I would recommend the onion rings as an app but suggest getting the small or side if it is just for two. The wife liked the breakfast sandwich she ordered but I didn't really care for my roast beef poboy. Flavor was good but the texture seemed like it was over cooked.Also there was a bit of cigarette smoke smell coming in from the connected casino.

Food is decent but everything is overpriced. Seems like the prices have escalated in the recent years. Not really worth it to me.
