You order with the cashier and you will get a number. Service was polite and food is made to order. The ambiance is very casual and laid back. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich for breakfast. Typically, i am not a fried chicken sandwich person but this has become my favorite. The spice was great although i still hit it with the crystal. The chicken came out so high. I was actually unsure how I was going to eat it. I started with a form and knife and it was nicely flavored, not overly salty. I think where most of the flavor came for me was the chicken skin. The skin was soooo perfect, crispy and not salty. The biscuit was really good too. it was thin so it created a great balance of biscuit to chicken ratio. It didn't taste like flour like most biscuits. It was moist with a light buttery flavor. I highly recommend getting it.

Food was delicious and a fantastic price. Fun vibe of a relaxed school cafeteria. Received great service. Loved the English muffin sandwich and hash browns. No one in our party liked the coffee or chai latte

Visiting NOLA and you know I am excited to eat eat ! My sister suggested we make a quick stop by this gem. I was not let down. I ordered the spicy chicken biscuit and it was on point. The spice was a level 6/10. The biscuit wasn't dry which is always a plus ! The best part of the experience was the conversation I had with the cashier Sarah. She was really kind and genuine. Enough of my rant ! Go visit. Have a good time and order the chicken.

People really hyped this place up. Maybe they're all meat eaters ha. I only went here since it's a good first spot before you take a self walking tour of the Garden District which I was doing. They really don't have much for vegans or vegetarians. I got a collard green and grits dish with eggs on top. It was good don't get me wrong but it wasn't the most memorable meal. It had a great kick to it though. The staff was incredibly friendly. The interior is a millennials dream.

I've been coming here for years because I ttly crave so many of the dishes after just a few weeks: the crunchy rice salad will change you life- and whoever is making the long cake every year is a GENIUSThe vibe here is so chill - feels like you're at your own home honestly I always get a biscuit to go- I take them on the plane with me when I leave town- it's like a stress reliever on a long dayThey have small packets of Crystal in the shelf up the stirs for the biscuit (it comes with butter and jam but you'll want that too)

Guys this place is SPECTACULAR!!! Everything on the brunch menu is incredible. Truly, no wrong choices. I got a biscuit sandwich here over a week ago and I'm still day dreaming about it.

After meticulously researching breakfast places in New Orleans we were so excited to trying Molly's Rise and Shine. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the hype for us. We got the chicken biscuit, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns. I personally was most excited for the chicken biscuit, but it was the most disappointing thing we tried. The chicken was so crispy it was hard, there was so much skin and gooey pieces, and the chicken didn't seem fully cooked. It also wasn't very flavorful in general. The biscuit for the biscuit and gravy was hard, but the gravy was flavorful. The hash brown was decent. The line was quite long, but we were able to order, sit down, and get our food within about 20 minutes. I wish that I had nicer things to say about this restaurant, but the highlights were the ambiance and staff for sure.

I recently enjoyed a delightful breakfast at Molly's Rise and Shine in the Garden District. Their menu offers a truly exceptional range of breakfast options, and I was particularly impressed by two selections.First, the classic biscuit sandwich was a standout. The perfect balance of flavors and textures, enhanced by a judicious use of jalapeño, made it a memorable treat.Equally remarkable was the more adventurous anchovy cream cheese, salmon roe, and chives on a hash brown. The surprising combination of salty, creamy, and subtly pungent flavors, complemented by the crisp hash brown, was both innovative and satisfying. The hash brown itself was expertly prepared, achieving the ideal balance of saltiness and crispness.Molly's Rise and Shine boasts a breakfast menu that may well be the finest in New Orleans. Beyond the food, the service was cheerful and attentive, and the unique, eclectic décor created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The inclusion of a 15% gratuity in the bill is a convenient and transparent practice.

This sandwich was delicious! I don't usually like topping. Just meat, bread, and cheese but glad I got to try this.

I drove by this place several times before coming in. The awing read "rise and shine" and "collard greens". Breakfast and greens are some of my favorite things so I made a point to visit before leaving New Orleans. This place didn't disappoint. Small menu, incredible flavors, fun vintage decor, and killer music make this a safe place for all. Support local.
