Magic Sweets

When I walked in inside, the interior was very cute, and there were some pink chairs you can sit by while you drink your boba. I was greeted really well and the lady was really nice. I got my usual taro pearl milk tea, and honestly, it was really good. It is a little bit more sweet to my liking, but it definitely was a different taste which was really good too! The only thing is the location is easy to miss when locating it.I believe this boba shop deserves more attention and praise because they are really nice and makes your drink really fast!

This place is cute on the inside and the lady working here was extremely nice. She let me sample the boba and gave suggestions on what would match my drink. I ordered the lavender milk tea with tapioca boba. The drink didn't look anything like the advertised picture. No purple coloring was anywhere and it didn't taste anything like lavender. It only tasted like a cup of milk. Maybe I went at a bad time...

Passed by here the other morning and said I needed to come back when they were open. Decided I needed a little treat today. Pretty good, just the right amount of sweetness. I would come again, and it's nice to not have to drive to Metairie for one of these.

I visited here for the first time on this past Friday. There was parking onsite. I ordered a slice of crepe matcha cake. It was frozen so I had to wait over 30 mins for it to fully thaw. The owner did let me know that that would be the case. So that was no issue. Overall I thought that particular cake slice was just ok but I'd be willing to try the slice of chocolate crepe cake next time. I ordered the taro bubble tea. There wasn't a ton of ice but I still would've preferred a little less. Also even though it wasn't overly sweet I wouldn't have minded a little less sweetness. Next time I know to request these things when ordering. I took my items to go but there were a few seats inside. I really enjoyed the owner Dee Dee. She was so kind and sweet and we chit chatted for a long time. She had such a warm personality.

I'm a sucker for any rose tea so when I found out this place has it, I made my way out there. It's a bit of a drive and when you get there, you will get confused of the actual location. They are next door to a Thai restaurant but the entrance is facing the opposite. Cute little place. It took awhile for them to have my order ready bc it was just one person making it. I really wanted to try their shaves ice cream but it was getting late so I only grab a bunch of different flavor drinks to go. Ask for less ice on your drinks. ***My second time back and when I tried to update my review, I just noticed I never posted. The above review was from my first time trying them out. The second time back, I brought some friends and family to try them out. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. There was a couple sitting across from us and I heard the lady complaining that her drink had too much ice. In my opinion, the drink was a tad too sweet but that extra ice when it melted, it balanced the sweetness all out.

love this place. everyone is so kind, the boba is always good, my fave is the strawberry yogurt. next time i'm gonna get a slice of cake (:

I had a previous 2 star review about the amount of ice that they put in the cup. They have since changed that. Before, it used to be more than half of the cup was filled with ice and now it's just a small scoop. I'm glad I came back.The interior is very nice and the armchairs are very comfy. Thank you for listening to your customers and for the good service. :^)

This is such a cute little cafe and the woman working there was very sweet. I got the lemon orange pea flower tea, I'd wasn't as sweet as I'd like so I'd try something different next time. It has a nice sitting area.

I cannot believe I waited so long to write a review for this MAGIC place! I have been visiting on a weekly basis since they opened and not a single one sweet I don't like!My favorite is their chocolate shave ice so good that I crave for it everyday! Their cake selections are fresh and delicious as well. If they have the coconut cake, please get that one. You won't regret it! My favorite drink from this place is their mojeto ( without the alcohol) they are so refreshing! The thai tea is also soso good! There's so many good ones I cannot recall the name of... If y'all ever stop by Harahan, do yourself a favor and check this place out!!

I don't review restaurants often, but we went to this place on their opening day, and everything was so good, and they were so nice, I wanted to help put the word out. My wife is a fiend for bubble tea, and she said this is the kind of flavor that most people really love. I don't like tea at all, but I like the blended taro drinks, and I was a little disappointed that they weren't doing blended drinks that day. I will forgive them, though, because it was their first day, and I ended up getting a strawberry soda that was amazing. My daughter got a strawberry shaved-ice - it looked like a sundae with all the crazy toppings it had on it - and it was delicious as well. We also got a slice of strawberry cake and a slice of coconut cake - both great.My wife went back again today and said they are making blended drinks now, but it would have been melted by the time she brought it home, so she got me a mango-passion fruit soda. I've never had a soda that good before. I don't know if they use real fruit juice, but it sure tastes like it. It's not a seltzer water with a hint of fruit flavor. It tastes like carbonated fruit juice. I am looking forward to getting my taro.
