Ironworks Coffee and Crepes

I came here last year when I was invited to a conference in NOLA. This is the breakfast place that was close to the hotel I was staying at the time. I love all the positive rave this place was getting and it did not disappoint! The place is quite small but perfect for a small couple. Since I was flying solo I def took advantage of trying it out and having a front seat to take my time to enjoy coffee and a crepe. The place is very clean and the staffs are super friendly and so nice. It's the kind of place where you're going to get called "sweetie"! The interior has very cute decor that will keep you looking around while waiting for your food. I decided on the Sylvester crepe which is savory instead of sweet. No regrets! It was super light and fluffy but also satisfying. I had to get a kick in the morning and decided to try their Cuban Coffee...and boy did it not disappoint me. I will be recommending this place to my friends who will visiting NOLA soon.

This was a lovely place! I had many crepes in my life but this was really really good. We ordered one savory and one sweet crepe. We got the Nutella explosion, it was perfect with the house made whip. For the savory, we got the Mickey with lox, goat cheese, tomatoes, avocado. Avo was super fresh.. But the combo of the lox and goat cheese was on the salty side. Coffee was excellent. Had a Cuban coffee, and a latte. Will definitely return. Service was good but was so busy.

Love this quaint little crêpe, and coffee shop! They have savory and sweet crêpes that are unique in flavor and very flavorful coffee! Mary was behind the counter and very friendly... She was quick to make our delicious coffee and add the extra shots of espresso as we needed!This jam is tucked behind the Renaissance Hotel, and I highly recommend you seek this place out!

I wish I could give six stars. This hidden gem is one of my favorite local discoveries. I love crepes, and these folks do an amazing job with them. We went for breakfast and I had the Sylvester. Smoked salmon, capers, crème cheese.... What could be better? The staff is so nice, and the ambiance is very welcoming. I have to say, I can't wait to go back. Try it. You will thank me!

We were looking for a healthy option with good coffee and we found exactly what we were looking for and more. The space is quaint and cozy, a great place to also come work and eat. They have a few tables on the floor and a few chairs at the bar that looks outside. Good for pondering and people watching as you work. The staff was excellent. I forgot the ladies name but she has short blonde hair. She was outstanding. She continued to come from out of the kitchen to check on us and had a vibrant personality. When I wanted to add more stuff to our order she wouldn't allow me to get up to go back to the register (you pay at the register this isn't a restaurant style spot) and said she would make sure it was all handled. In which it was and they just added it to my already paid bill and nothing else was needed. The food was great. I had the Giselle crepe & I forgot what my husband had. Both were very good. Mine was more fresh and goat cheesy. His more savory. We ended it with a great coffee martini. Everyone can't make these but this was the right balance of coffee to alcohol. Not too much sugar. PERFECT! We'll definitely be back when in the city.

Just visited this morning close to the hotel where we were staying.It was one of the best crepes we've ever had. Coffee was excellent as well but most of all. The service.All the staffs were all smiles and attentive all the time while we were there. Pleasant morning experience you would like to have while you are on vacation.Thank you, y'all!!!

Had a great tiramisu crepe this morning, paired with a vanilla iced latte! The staff was also very nice and took the time to ask me how was everything. I would def return.

Very surprised at how filling the crepes were. My wife and are in town for a conference. Walked down the street from hotel. The food is very good. The coffee is excellent. The have very friendly service. I heard customers come back the next day raving about the Irish coffee. And those tourists promised to come by for a 3rd day in a row. The decor is very modern and comfortable. As I sit here and eat. There are a lot of return business. That's speaks volumes. I will be back! Definitely want to try the Irish coffee. (Maybe not so early in the morning).

Coming from New York City we have lots of cafes and coffee houses. This place is my favorite of all the places I ever visited in the world because of the love they put into everything they do. To the drinks and the wonderful mouthwatering crepes that keep coming out of their kitchen non-stop. The place is cozy and comfortable with plenty of seating. Service is top notch and the people who work there make you feel like you're family. Thank you for your hospitality and the wonderful coffee and espresso martinis that I couldn't stop drinking! Shout out to Olga the owner, Mary, Angela and Olga's Mom. You ladies are the best! Will definitely make my way back to New Orleans soon and come back again to Ironworks Coffee and Crepes!
