Food is very good here. It's a small restaurant, so go early to get a table. It gets packed!! I had the spinach and mushroom omelet, very good and enough to feed two people! Bacon is always good, but it's hard to mess up bacon . Raisin toast is always good as well. Coffee is decent and they are quick to refill. Service isn't always the fastest, but they do their best with the amount of people packed into this diner. Ambiance is typical of a breakfast diner. We always enjoy going on Sunday mornings.

Grammy's is proof that the side of virtue signaling that you get with your coffee at other Coffee Shops (Cat Island Bookstore & Mocking Bird Cafe) doesn't improve the overall experience.I often visit Grammy's at their drive-thru on my way to Pass Christian. My typical order of a Croissant, Sausage, Egg and Cheese Sandwich, 1 Dozen Donut Holes and a Large Coffee ($8.21) always comes with a pleasant smile and send-off without breaking the bank.Grammy's hits all the marks in Food Quality, Variety, Service, Atmosphere, and Value; it's truly a 5-Start Business!

Are these doughnuts just like my grandma used to make? No, because my grandma didn't make doughnuts... but she was a heck of a cook and I think that's the point here. I've been to Grammys a few times, and each time has been a pleasure! From the hot and fresh coffee to the deliciously soft and fresh doughnuts to the large breakfast menu sure to satisfy any craving, Grammys does it right. The staff is awesome- they are always super friendly and attentive. Grammys isn't a chain, they are an independent business and they make you feel like you're the only customer there (even when the tables are all full). Every time we've been, we've been made to feel like our business is appreciated (most of the time, they even give us a little to-go bag of sweets for the road after we pay- how cool is that??). As a kid of the '80's... I grew up with doughnuts like Long Johns- you might call them eclairs or "bars", but you'd be wrong- they're Long Johns. They are a long doughnut, covered in chocolate (my favorite) or maple and filled with Bavarian cream. Corporate places like Krispy Kreme and Dunkin don't have them- actually, a lot of doughnut shops nowadays don't have them- but Grammys does and they are perfect! They remind me of the days of banana seats, 13 channels on TV, Atari, neon colored clothes, big hair and terribly awesome synthesizer music! Look, the bottom line is this- if you're looking for delicious doughnuts and breakfast served up by the nicest ladies on the Coast, go to Grammys in Bay St. Louis. And don't forget to buy a Long John before you spray your hair with Aqua Net (or brush your mullet) and start rocking out down the Highway to your next totally rad destination!

Have to apologize to Beachside Bistro for their bitching about their hamburger pricing last week. We just spent $41.50 for eggs and grits at Grammy's! Average at best food and maybe change out the nasty ass rag you wipe the tables with. Place needs a good cleaning. Really? $6.00 for 8 apple fritter balls. My God folks, prices haven't gone up that much. These crooks in all business are abusing the constant narrative!

Ordered a grilled Texas toast cheese and ham and got white bread w no ham so very disappointed on top of that they forgot my tea and when I asked for I they wanted to charge me twice. I waited around 40 minutes total for my food and when I went in the ask about it they weren't being very attentive.

Idk if these are food safe bags. It looks like she's passing you a 40oz beer thru the window. I thought it was one time, but they shove your donuts in a paper bag.

Slow. Unorganized. Overpriced. People sat after us got meals before us... we've been here 38 minutes and still only have our OJ. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE PANCAKES???If you feel like you must eat here, wait till no one is in the store- apparently this crew doesn't know how to work a counter and table service.
