Was having a rough morning, but they changed it around. Keeleya was awesome sweet and patient. The owner was just as awesome and generous. Sat and talked with him outside amongst others and just enjoyed the vibe of this place. Mix of everything. Piano makes it even better. Nice healthy choices a long with the other. They even have some fresh juice. I dig it. Lots of selection and coffee. Had cold brew and butter pecan and oat milk. It was good. They don't skimp on the eggs and toast either. All reasonably priced. Thanks again and will definitely stop by again next time!

If I could pack this spot up with me and bring it home, I would. We absolutely loved this small, "homey," intimate coffee shop. Thank you to the barista for being so accommodating each day we visited. You come here for the breakfast sandwiches!! We ordered the exact same order every morning we were in town: hot caramel macchiato and a sausage, egg & cheese croissant WITH homemade apple butter, freaking delicious - we even went on Thanksgiving morning. The sandwich is everything you'd expect in a breakfast sandwich to be: croissants was soft, buttery and warm, eggs were fluffy and light, sausage links were just crispy around the edges, and the apple butter? Don't leave without it. Pricing is super convenient esp for the quality of food. Do not pass up this gem when you're in town, simple!

The vibe here feels exactly like what a local coffee shop should be. A little eclectic and grungy. Plus a pretty broad range of food options too; anything with curry involved is really good! Lots of seating space inside and out so you could hang here for a good amount of time.Curry, Egg & Potato Wrap: We need to normalize curry for breakfast in this country. Note quite a breakfast burrito, since it seems to use a lavash wrap rather than a tortilla. Which I think is actually a better wrap choice anyway. The potatoes dominate and the eggs are lightly mixed throughout, so it does kinda feel like you're having a nice aloo curry. My mouth got energized in the morning with all those spices.Almond Danish: Like a regular danish, but with a bunch of almond paste in the middle. Kinda like that filling in almond croissants. Ultimately, I think I prefer fruit danishes more, but this was still good with coffee.Red Velvet Muffin: Definitely tasted more like a muffin than a cake, since there was no signature cream cheese frosting. The muffin did have a dark red coloring and tasted little lighter than a regular muffin.Olive Salad Sandwich: Looks a little like a muffaletta, but it is no muffaletta. The olive salad tastes nice, but it's otherwise kinda dry and a little boring with just turkey.Olive Salad Pita Pizza: Also not that impressive, since it's basically cheese and olive salad on a pita. And the olive salad is in big chunks. so they often roll off.Gyro Plate w/ Curry: There was a hummus complication because the hummus was frozen, so I got a scoop of curry instead. That curry was very nice with some green colored beans, potatoes and a few mushrooms. Tasted really good with the toasted pita points. The gyro meat was ok, a little too thick cut for my tastes.Chai Latte: Loved the strong spices in this milky brew. Comforting on a brisk day.

Lovely coffee shop that fits the charm of the Marigny neighborhood. When I walked in, there was someone casually playing the piano, that's in the cafe. It was delightful. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and some lush plants outside which adds to the vibe. The barista is very friendly. The coffee offerings are as you would expect and the prices are on point too. If you like the flavored coffees, this place has a full selection of choices. I enjoyed an iced hazelnut latte. Food offerings are good and seems like coming early to catch the breakfast options is best. I missed breakfast this time, so I'll have to check back.But... THE CURRY! Flora Cafe makes a house vegan curry over jasmine rice. It's so delicious and affordable! I'd definitely get it again. If you like vegan curry or live a vegetarian or veg life, it's worth giving it a try. Not spicy, so they offer hot sauce to add to it. Super enjoyed it.

Bonus star for next level, authentic "only-in-NOLA" funkiness. Full of colorful locals. I'm hesitant to review a unique spot like this because an onslaught of tourists could ruin it, but it's just far enough from the French Quarter to keep that from happening.Friendly staff. Plenty of tables inside, with some books and board games to entertain you while you're hanging around. More tables outside on both sides of the building. Walking up to the entry feels more like you're in a tropical jungle than the Marigny. Duck behind the banana tree and into the cozy shop, where sensory overload will kick in. I'm still not sure what all I saw, but I do know that they have good coffee and a case full of tempting breakfast and lunch "grab & go" offerings in addition to a menu from which to choose more traditional options. I had a gooey cinnamon roll and coffee. Thoroughly enjoyed both on the sidewalk while soaking up the local vibe.... & 80 degree mid-December sunshine.

The breakfast burritos here are so delicious! They have a full breakfast & lunch menu, as well as a pastry case, and I wish I could have tried everything! The lattes weren't anything special, but they were extremely sweet -- next time I go, I'll probably try asking for half the normal amount of syrup.

My friend is allergic to nuts and the staff gaslit him into thinking that their pesto sandwich had no nuts on Tuesday. He was throwing up for couple hours with shortness of breath, inflammation, chest pain, and had a high temperature. Otherwise he and his friends really like the cafe, so that is why this is not a one star review. I just thought other people should know, in case they have a nut allergy. It would be great if the staff can label their sandwiches from now on.
