Lox / dill cream cheese toast - not bad

A little espresso and tea bar inside of the Pythian Market. I just happened to stop in to walk around and saw that this place had a Lox toast with dill cream cheese which sounded good at the time. The toast itself is really thick and came out under toasted. The salmon itself was ok quality. There was really nothing special about it. It was also difficult to eat because of its size and capers kept rolling off of it. It was a little steep at $9. I probably wouldn't get it again. When I was there - it was card only for payment.

I clearly went wrong here by not reading the menu. They don't have regular milk. So very milk offered - almond, coconut, oat - required an extra cost. In reality, the majority of the costs advertised for the drinks are wrong. My $4.50 matcha latte turned into $6 plus tax because I picked Almond milk. It wasn't even that great of a matcha latte. I would have been better off at, dare I say it, Starbucks. It was more of an almond-y drink with a splash of matcha. I guess this place appeals to the vegans because of what they offer. Don't make the mistake I did. Read my review, and the menu, clearly.

Four words: mediocre coffee, terrible attitude.I won't get into the details, but after reading a few other reviews for this business and dozens of reviews for this owner's other business, Dee's Coffee, it's obvious why they both only have 3.5 stars. To be fair, there are plenty of positive reviews, but there are also many people who experienced the same kind of poor customer service and negative attitude from Dee (the owner and server) that I did, which let me know I wasn't crazy. Do yourself a favor and try literally anywhere else for better coffee and no passive aggressive irritability from the barista/owner.

Get the Banana Nut Coffee Cake!!! They also have a yummy blueberry muffin that I like. This is a new place that I frequent and highly recommend.

Decent coffee; nothing spectacular. Service was a bit gruff/terse, but not too overbearing. Small assortment of breakfast pastries that would suffice in a pinch

Coffee was extremely hot and had a burnt/bitter flavor. Eventually threw it out after a few sips. Also had a blueberry muffin, which tasted store bought. It tasted almost identical to the pre-made 4 packs you buy at a grocery store. I would not recommend this place, as there are better coffee shops within a 2 block radius.

Really terrible coffee stand inside of the Pythian Market, an exclusionary "food hall" in the CBD. I stopped in for a quick espresso this evening upon seeing the sign outside indicated business was open until 7:00 pm (also indicated here on Yelp). The barista informed me that they actually closed at 6:00 (it was 5:48) and therefore could not make me an espresso because she'd already switched off the machine. She offered me a cold brew and I grudgingly accepted; it was overpriced ($5.50 plus tax) and was not just flavorless but also full of dissolved coffee grounds. Furthermore, the stand does not accept cash, which particularly in a city like New Orleans is appalling and inherently exclusive. Hipster coffee is generally expensive, yes, but this place is just a bourgeois dump! Take your money and yourself elsewhere!

Great coffee with some tasty light breakfast choices. The signature Edison drink is one of the best coffees I had in New Orleans

Located in the Food court across from our hotel (Holiday Inn), it was a quick, convenient place to get my coffee. If you enjoy cold brew, try the Edison! It became my go-to while in NOLA. Also, get the chocolate brioches a side. I found the service great, the decor was right up my alley. Out of towners, trust me, you don't need a chain to survive.

What a horrible experience! The server was so rude and unpleasant. As a local I wanted to frequent establishments around my neighborhood. The server hardly spoke and when she did she was so rude and not helpful . How do we recommend establishments when the personnel is rude. Words can't explain how horrible my experience was I tipped her because I always try to be kind and generous versus negative and rude. Edison's Espresso and tea - try a little kindness
