Donut Palace

They have the best donuts! We have been going here since I was a teenager. We live in Denham Springs and when we go to my moms in Angie, this is the one place my husband wants donuts from. The best around for sure!

Every morning when I drive by this place, the smell of fresh doughnuts being made makes me just want pull over and order. The price are very reasonable.

Went there this past weekend with my family... we had 7 adults and 3 toddlers with us. The guy who waited on us at the counter was rude and looked annoyed that we were there to begin with. We sat down inside to eat after ordering and receiving our food....of corse the toddlers get sticky and messy with the donut icing so my sister asks if there was somewhere she could take the kids to wash their hands... she was told no! They did not have a restroom, Which was no problem because they sold bottle waters and we were going to wet some napkins and clean our hands and the kids hands. My sister grabs a bottled water from the self serve water cooler and was walking back to our table and the guy working the counter starts yelling at her that she needed to pay for the water and she was stealing the water and she needed to pay; which she was planning to do so once her hands were clean and she could reach into her pocket to get the money out to pay. The guy was really rude and kept yelling that she was stealing and needed to pay for the bottled water. So my sister said never mind, she didn't want it because he was being rude and was accusing her of trying to steal something she wasn't. My sister was standing about 2 feet from the counter and tossed the bottle of water onto the counter and it rolled off onto the floor on the other side of the counter. The female employee came out from the back and picked up the bottle of water and threw it at the 3 kids and almost hit my 2 year old grand daughter. I left a review on their social media account and they responded by saying that the bottle of water did not hit the child and that the security video shows that she did not hit the child and admitted to throwing the bottled water at the kids and saying its ok because she didnt hit the child and she has video proof she didn't hit the child. Which was her admitting a second time to throwing the bottled water at the kids. When i asked her to post the video so all her other customers could see her throwing the bottle at the toddlers, they deleted my review and blocked me from their site. Everyone needs to know that these people who run this place thinks its ok to throw full, unopened bottles of water at 2-4 year old children. Then think they did no wrong because they didn't hit the child with the bottle. All happened because they didn't give my sister a chance to clean her hands to dig the money out of her pocket to pay for a bottle of water. Instead they kept yelling that she was stealing and needed to pay.... how can you have an eating establishment that allows customers to go inside and sit down to eat but not have a restroom or a place to wash your hands... especially while serving sticky messy donuts??!! At least supply wet wipes or something!!!

i am a do nut... nut! glazed jelly is my favbut in this place...eveery donut is outstanding! yum!!

Donuts are amazing!! If ever in the area and wanting donuts... this is your go to! Service is always nice as well!

Went to this "hole in the wall" because it was the only thing open on thanksgiving day. What an unexpected surprise! The donuts are among the best I've tasted. Since I've gone to every highly rated donut shop in Manhattan, DC, Atlanta Richmond and beyond, that's say something.

The Donut Palace is a hidden gem in Bogalusa. I only moved here a few months ago from metro New Orleans and thought that I would have to do without anything as good as my Krispy Kremes. I was wrong. This place rocks! Their donuts literally melt in your mouth. I haven't seen any advertising for this place, and the outside of the building is pretty nondescript. I happened upon it by accident because of its great location on Superior Ave. Forget about the calories, and indulge your guilty pleasures once in a while. These donuts will have you coming back for more!

Good selection of doughnuts, made fresh, best time is right about 8-9am, otherwise most of it will be gone.

Amazing fresh donuts! Hidden secret! I've never caught this place open, but a friend brought a dozen glazed donuts to work last week- we are nurses and work in an office for several doctors and the entire box was gone in less than 30 mins! Aka AMAZING DONUTS! Lol
