Chez Pierre French Bakery And Cafe On Harrison, Lakeview

Chez Pierre is still one of my favorite spots for Vietnamese food in the city. Their pastries are amazing as well.If you find yourself in need of catering, please, please keep them in mind. At work we sponsor small events regularly, and Chez Pierre Bao buns are ALWAYS a hit. People love the little grilled-pork-filled buns, and i think they appreciate trying something a little unique. I can't neglect to mention that whether I'm having a tasty pho in person or taking a catering order to go, the staff is always efficient, professional, and friendly.

I love Chez Pierre! I highly recommend to anyone who wants to try a French and Vietnamese bakery. Their meat pies are my favorite and I always look forward to stopping by in the morning before work.

Met a friend here for lunch on a Monday. Go to the counter, place your order and pay. Everything was clean inside. The service was friendly. The shrimp rice bowl was good and fresh.

Love this place. It's a bakery with Pho and other great Vietnamese cuisine. The crawfish pie is to die for. Have to get there early because they go go go. The folks are friendly and accommodating. Zero stars due to quality and taste of an overpriced and old birthday cake. Paid $50 for an old and tasteless cake. I'm pretty sure the cake has been sitting around for a long time for it to taste like that(refrigerated taste). The icing and cake crumbled apart as we tried to cut into it. Highly disappointed and upset for paying for this cake. It was not worth the money at all. Even though the cake is sliced and served no one ate it after one bite. Never again.

Cute bakery! They also have Vietnamese food. My daughter had the pho and I got the shaking beef. Prices are reasonable, service was great, and we left very happy!

While driving in Lakeview I decided to waste over 50 dollars while being forced to tip a to go order and the only receipt your entitled to is to provide your email or cell phone number for spam mail. The King cake was terrible with icing applied with a brush( you could see the thin layer of Icing brush stokes) that we threw away!! Also purchased chocolate Ganache and Red velvet cake, they were pretty to look at, but dry and hard to eat. What a waste of money and food that was tossed, I will not be back!!!

AS soon as we walked in the shop we were not greeted, the person behind the counter was rude, telling me what I should buy instead of her letting me tell her what I wanted. This was going on the entire time we were in the shop.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! I wish there was a button for ZERO STARS! I went there on a friday and found hair in my food. they replaced my order and the meat they tried to give me was SPOILED!! IT STUNKED SO BAD!!! They lack customer service and cut corners! Take this as a warning and DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE.

Im sure the bakery is great but the phō was not authentic and overpriced in my opinion. I'm just rating the phō.
