Bottomless mimosas for the win! Beautiful Sunday Brunch with my girls. Had a phenomenal time. Got the Navarre Special with bottomless cranberry mimosas. 10/10 would recommend Go there for breakfast/lunch/brunch. We didn't sit outside but we will next time! Our server was so sweet. I do not remember her name but she had dark hair, green top and a beautiful gold necklace.

I've been wanting to dine at Cafe Navarre for a really long time and finally got the chance on a weekday morning. It's street parking only and I found a park easily. I imagine it would have been more of a challenge on the weekend. When we entered, we were able to sit wherever we wanted and chose a table in the elevated section of the restaurant. The biscuit was sliced open, buttered, grilled and most importantly, it was on point! I wasn't a fan of the grits but the other guest loved them. The omelet was decent, maybe slightly overcooked, but had good flavor. I'm definitely glad that I tried this place, but think there are better options around.

Chicken pesto panini was great for a light lunch of a hot summer day. I switched out the kettle chips for a side Caesar salad and it paired very well with the sandwich. The Caesar dressing on the salad and the pesto on the sandwich were both very yummy. We sat outside and it was nice with fans blowing on us and music playing as well as many shaded tables and chairs. Our waitress was good also. The inside did look old and the bathroom was small. Enjoyed my lunch.

Went for a brunch with friends and boy do they get busy getting closer to lunch. Their hot Irish coffee is delicious and comes with a caramel drizzle. I got the bacon avocado Benedict and the poached eggs were overcooked but the flavor was decent. The breakfast potatoes were your run of the mill breakfast potatoes.

Super solid chicken salad sandwich, the salad with fried shrimp was very good too. My partner and I came for lunch on a Thursday at 2. Seating was fast and easy, they had the fans blowing outside so it felt so good even though it was 90° outside - it was perfect. The service was so kind and also fast. They also offer many drink options (we just had water)! The playlist was FIRE. Top r&b, soul, & hip hop beats for the whole time we were there. Loved that. Vibed out on the patio!!! Super solid, quick lunch spot. Fairly priced. $40 for two for lunch (tip included in that).Stop by & enjoy. I'll be back.

As per the Cafe Navarre website, after Hurricane Katrina, "Café Navarre opened for lunch in September of 2007, serving Panini's, Cuban sandwiches, and salads, and featuring Po Boys such as slow cooked Debris roast beef, and BBQ shrimp, house made from family recipes.Breakfast was added in December of 2008, featuring Benedict's and omelettes. A covered patio for outdoor dining was added in November of 2009, a liquor license in December 2010, and thin crust Artisan style Pizza in October of 2011".Cafe Navarre is within walking distance to my house; therefore, it's always a diner consideration when we do not cook. There's always something on the menu, especially since they have four menus, one for brunch, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I've had lots of items on the menu, and some of my favorites are, the eggs benedict, the Mediterranean omelette, the breakfast bowl, the Cobb salad, the Cuban po-boy, the roast beef po-boy, the Dirty Bird po-boy and last but not least, their pizzas. As stated by Yelper Shannon S., I also do not like that they only serve their pizza at night, as I sometimes crave it at lunch. Conversely, some of their other delicious menu items are NOT offered at night. If you like to imbibe a little, and most of us do from time to time, they have "Cocktails on the Patio", where you can get frozen drinks, cocktails, lots of wines, and beer. All in all, Cafe Navarre is a solid 4 out of 5. Be warned that breakfast and brunch crowds, yeah I said crowds, are often big, so be prepared to wait for a table.

Mediocre at best. The location is surrounded by housing and is close to the park. The food lacked seasoning. I had to add a ton of salt and pepper to the grits and eggs. The pancakes and biscuit were decent with the addition of syrup and jelly. The server was nice but overall, I left wanting more!

This was a solid three stars for us. We were sat right away and our server quickly took our orders, but we didn't see her again until she dropped off the check. Coffee was not refilled and we never saw her to ask. The benedict was good but the grits and biscuit were very average. Nothing bad, but very forgettable. Everybody was nice and it had a good ambiance. I'd consider going back, but would not go out of my way to do so.
