It was my last day in New Orleans and Cafe Fleur De Lis was on the same street as my hotel, albeit several blocks down. It was a freezing morning, so I hailed an Uber, to take me to this popular Breakfast and Lunch spot in the French Quarter. There were numerous people waiting out for their names to be called and I had to do the same. After about 20 minutes, I checked in again, pointed to a table becoming empty and was able to grab it.While the menu here is limited, it had good choices. My eyes were attracted to the shrimp and crawfish cake Benny, but I resisted. Had to have crawfish étouffée, one more time. The dish arrived at the perfect temperature, with the crawfish distributed amongst a well bodied and zesty creole sauce. There was a slight kick to it and it was the perfect mini reservoir for dipping in the crusted bread pieces that came with the entree. The rice too was optimally prepared and added more texture and contrast to this well executed menu item. Service was caring, attentive and superb.

They have a few locations. On a Saturday you can expect a wait but they'll text you when your table is ready which is nice. We were seated on the balcony which was charming. we saw a second line from up there. They were already sold out of the fried green tomatoes and it was only 10am! While we were there they sold out of cheese grits.Their grits were AMAZING. The food was good and service was perfection.

This place was close to the hotel we were staying so we headed out to eat breakfast. When we checked in, the host asked if we wanted to eat on the patio. It was a little chilly but we hadn't been on a patio yet in NOLA so we said yes. So glad we did. The morning sun was just hitting the patio to keep guests warm and it was a popular spot. I chose the French toast which uses biscuits as its bread base. Unique and very good. Husband had the Big Easy which was definitely big and not so easy to finish. It was a TON of food. We both enjoyed our meals very much. April was a great server. She was busy out there on the patio and was able to keep a lot of tables happy. Great stop.

The good: food was great! i loved the Seafood Benedict and how fresh all the food tasted. I never had a crawfish cake but the ones here were perfectly seasoned and went well with the sauce and the english muffins. The bad: the wait time was insane. 20 mins to get my food. Also it's a bit pricey as only the Seafood Benedict cost around 19 bucks...?

Delicious place to have a NOLA breakfast. We got the Big Easy breakfast and it hit the spot. You are able to customize it as well. I highly recommend the grits! Our server, April, was great! She was very attentive and we got our food quick! The inside of Cafe Fleur del Lis was also so cute. We sat upstairs and were able to look out and see the beautiful architecture of NOLA.

We wanted to sit on the balcony on the second floor for the vibes but I guess they weren't opened for whatever reason, might've been because it was too cold or early in the day. Overall I felt like it was just your average brunch place, nothing really too special. Seriously Southern Breakfast: 6/10 the pork belly was the star of the show visually, but it was really salty. I actually think the pancakes took the show taste wise. It had an interesting taste unlike other pancakes, can't really explain it until you try it, but it was very good Oyster Benedict: 8/10 I like my bennies and this one was just ok. I liked how it came with a side of hash browns, that was new. The fried oysters were also new but the batter was extremely thick, that's all you can really taste. The creamed spinach was also a good addition to the benny, I needed that fiber

Excellent breakfast/brunch! Our waitress Tessa was so kind the atmosphere was welcoming. The food was great a tiny bit salty but not enough to not be eaten. Otherwise the menu and options were great our table had a bit of everything and highly enjoyed. Definitely would recommend

This is most definitely a good spot you should try while visiting New Orleans! On my second visit, I had to come back again! The pancakes were huge. I tried the pecan pancakes, maple bacon and scrambled eggs. In addition, it came with a shot of bourbon! My friend had the shrimp and grits. I can honestly say that we both cleared our plates. The atmosphere was nice. A good size on the inside. Our waitress was a sweetheart. I visit again if I ever come back to New Orleans! Thanks for a great hearty breakfast!

My husband and I visited on MLK Day morning. We were greeted by their friendly staff and were promptly seated. I opted for the Eggs Benedict with hash browns and my husband ordered the Big Easy. I also ordered a Mimosa, which was a generous pour. All in all the food was wonderful. I particularly liked the fact that they toasted the biscuit, so that there was contrast with the poached eggs and Canadian bacon. The food was well executed overall.
