Cafe Du Monde MSY New Orleans Airport

Best beignets I have ever had! I can't believe I almost left New Orleans without having these! I'm so happy to learn they have one inside the airport! The frozen cafe au lait was too sweet. It was nice to try to say I've tried it.I don't know how to explain it, but these beignets are one of those donuts that you just have to try to see what the hype is about. Don't try another place's beignets, it's not the same! You have to eat THE CAFE DU MONDE BEIGNETS! Pro tip: cash only!

I tried out Café DuMonde at MSY airport and it was just ok. There wasn't a long line which was good. The beignets weren't as large as the ones you buy in downtown New Orleans. They were much smaller and they were not hot. It seems they were prepared for quick distribution. Other than that there was no problems with the service. The server was very friendly and seems like she loves her job. I probably wont stop again the next time I am there.

Cafe du Monde is probably the most popular stop in MSY and for good reason. It's a relatively affordable place to get authentic New Orleans beignets and cafe au lait. It's best to come here when they're making the beignets and it's hot off the line, but this isn't always the case. Today there was also a nice bonus to see them selling a mini Caluda's king cake which is a good souvenir to bring back home. In general, the beignets taste best at certain locations, like Cafe du Monde in City Park, the one on Veterans Blvd in Metairie, or the original location on Jackson Square....but the airport location works in a pinch.

Cafe du Monde has an outlet at the beautiful Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. I can indulge in one more cup of cafe au lait (dark roasted coffee and chicory mixed with hot milk) before my flight home. Oh happy day!Quality is consistent. This place serves the same coffee as at their other in-town locations. My drink was piping hot, and I savored every sip.Next time I'll try the beignets here.

The line moved quickly and the counter person was pleasant. Beignets were good just wished getting to the powder sugar was easier. Should consider containers instead of bags in the airport.

Went to New Orleans over MLK weekend just for Cafe Du Monde. Went to location in the Quarter and was so happy but when the freak weather storm hit the French Quarter location was closed for several days. Had hoped to get my fix before leaving New Orleans. Can not tell you how happy I was to see an open location in the Airport and of course I got my beignets and coffee. Made me so happy and they were so good fresh out of fryer.

So we had been trying to get to the original cafe du monde but never made it so I was extremely excited to see it in the airport. I was pleasantly surprised they were hot and good! Above average for an airport location! The hot chocolate was delicious as well. Service was fast.

They have beignets hot and fresh ready to go! The beignets are delicious. They also serve coffee. A must stop if you are in the airport.

I came by here before my flight to pick up some beignets. In all my rushing I was not able to stop by a local cafe and pick them up during my trip. This was my last chance to do so. The line was empty so I ordered a three pack and a frozen coffee. There is no dining area just a big table for you to eat everything. They put the beignets in a paper bag and throw a large amount of powdered sugar on top. I wish they give you a plate or something like the other cafes. You have to dig in with your hands to get them. It is incredibly messy. However it is absolutely worth it. The beignets are delicious and life changing. I was not a fan of the frozen coffee. I know I should have tried it while I was in the city but I missed out. It was very thick and gives you a brain freeze if you drink it too fast. Next time I think I will stick with the normal iced coffee. This place is great for a last-minute treat but I suggest you eat as many in the city as possible.

Customer service was good. The frozen mocha drink was delicious. The beignet was okay. Idk I had them years ago at the location over near the square in NOLA. They seemed 10x better. Idk if it's changed or I just don't remember what they taste like. I wouldn't have them again from the airport.
