"Amazing breakfast/ brunch spot. The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. The food was made so quickly! We ordered fresh orange juice, coffee and a make your own omelette with jam, bacon and cheese and it was unreal. Big portions, which is always a great sign. I recommend getting the side of roasted potatoes, so good!!! In our four day visit to NOLA we ate here twice because it was that great!"
"I frequent the Daily Beet often and it's always really solid! The food is fresh, flavorful and legit healthy. My go to order is the orbit bowl though it sometimes is very rice heavy- it has vegetables, egg, a really good vinaigrette and fills me up but not too much. I pair that with the almond butter chocolate chip energy bites. Y'all these things are delicious but not too sweet! I wish they were cheaper- I think you get 2 for $4 so I don't get them every time I go. My other favorite sweet treat is the dragon fruit chia seed pudding- it's tasty but not too sweet and very filling. It's also kinda pricey so I don't get it all the time either. The service is always great- folks are friendly and will provide recommendations or explain recipes if you have dietary concerns or restrictions. The ambience is nice, it's an open space and sometimes people will bring their laptop to eat and work. They have limited outside seating, a solid playlist and it's clean, bright and inviting. Daily Beet will continue to be my downtown go to place for healthy, fresh, good food!"

"Gosh this was a hard review to write or even number. The employees are nice and friendly and I love the ambience. It's got a great outdoors area with tables and is just such a fun place. However, the two things I tried did not make me a fan. And that's the problem. I started out with the mushroom sandwich and I'd have loved it (I think) except for the peppers. As in hot peppers, and the menu doesn't say that there are peppers. Excited for my mouth catching for I really like the sandwich. So when I returned it I had to come up with something I wanted to eat. That just was such a compromise that I didn't like it. And we had to adjust it because of my being pescatarian. So it was doomed to failure. They do have some cool breakfast items and I plan to come back and will revisit this review then."
"Good Morning Vietnam breakfast sandwich was insane. Jalepenos, carrots, cucumber, sriracha mayo, egg and sausage, cilantro. Spicy and fresh and savory all at once."
"Avenue Cafe is a great local coffee shop. You can sit enjoy your food an people watch or grab and go. They offer an nice selection of breakfast items and pastries. I give them bonus points for offering a vegan bagel sandwich that is very tasty! Pro tip: there is only one restroom so if seeing folks line up to use the facilities is annoying to you, don't sit near the coffee station because you will have a prime seat to anxious folks doing the pee-pee dance."
"I was taking a long walk along Magazine Street to sight-see and be healthy; passing by The Daily Beet and I was like I want to get something here (the place has a very appealing style). I took a look at the menu and was impressed with the bowls and salads. I already had plans for an early dinner so I didn't want to order any food but was interested in coming back so I asked the girl behind the counter a question about a dish. Sadly, she made it obvious she just wanted to take an order and not be bothered by my question. She did answer though and I asked another but after that I decided not to bother since it was clear she did not want to deal with me. My wife wasn't that thirsty; she just wanted a sip of something so I did the only logical thing.... I ordered (2) smoothies for myself and the wife can steal a couple sips. SMOOTHIES No.1: BLUE DREAM (Blueberry, Pineapple, Mango, Banana, Raw Agave)This was delicious... absolutely delicious SMOOTHIE No.2: SKINNY GREEN(Kale, Spinach, Pineapple, Mango, Banana)Even though I loved the Blue Dream, I really enjoyed the Skinny Green quite a bit. Something about that grittiness from the Kale that I like (it's a texture thing). I'm going to assume the poor customer service is limited to this one staff member (maybe she was having a bad day) and not the typical attitude of all staff; with that in mind, we will be back (especially with all the healthy option the menu offers; even have some vegan options)."
"I had such a nice lunch today at Good Bird. I ordered the Sue Bird salad, and added chicken. The salad was delicious, and I could tell the ingredients used were of excellent quality. The sweet potatoes were perfectly cooked - tender and sweet, the goat cheese was rich and tangy, and the chicken was fork tender. The space is bright, cheery, and you can speak in normal tones. Really sweet spot."
"I cannot wait for the new location to open at canal place but I popped into this location today because I needed a smoothie.I love getting smoothies that have a good balance of greens and fruits. I also added some collagen prOteiN to my smoothie for $2 because I felt like I needed additional protein in my smoothie this e.In the juice area there are Sample for you to try your self."
"So thankful to have atomic burger close by in Baton Rouge! Their vegetarian beyond burger gets me through the week. The price is higher than the other fast food chains around because the quality is THAT much better. I truly hope they never get rid of the vegetarian option because it's one of the best substitute burgers I've ever had. I've probably been here 15 times in 2 years. Out of all of those times, ONCE they got my order wrong and gave me a real burger. So just be sure to check if you're going!! The receipt prints "veggie". They were so understanding and swapped it quickly.*also just a note, in my photo those fries are grocery store frozen from my house lol. edamame is from AB tho!"
"I stumbled upon this wonderful place on my walk to the garden district. It was right on time because I had some breakfast that was so greasy that it made my stomach hurt. I went inside and told the employee my problem and asked if she had any suggestions on what juice would help settle my stomach ache. She suggested Silence and she offered to add some mint to aid in digestion. The juice was superb. In 30 minutes my stomach wasn't twisting in awful knots! I was relieved. It's not cold pressed so you know it's very fresh. Be patient because all that yumminess in a cup takes a minute. They have several locations so do yourself a favor and get your juice/smoothie on!!"
"Ordered beef pho and Vietnamese tacos, very tasty. Staff really nice. Also stopped by during king cake season, staff also really nice. I will definitely be back"

Background: Came during a bustling Mardi Gras Sunday for bunch.Pre-Service: Like all brunch spots, there is a 20-40 min wait if busy because they don't do reservations (thankfully) so that's expected..Service: Our Server Catrina "With a C " was simply amazing.. great energy, healthy jokes, fast service, filled drinks, all the trademarks of an amazing server.. Ask for CATRINA.. I'm telling youFood: Amazingly tasting Breakfast pi-Boy with mouth melting cheesy grits on the side w/Bacon. I was full with 1/2 the sandwich but it was so good I forced myself to finish the restOverall: 10/10 all things considered.. would love to come back when in town.... Great experience..

The staff is always friendly, except for one interesting experience. I was initially told there wasn't a restroom available for me, but I guess I looked unhoused that day. I tend to wear camo a lot, so in this part of the city, I'm kind of used to it. I just laughed it off because, funny enough, once I placed my order, the restroom magically appeared. Aside from that, the complimentary WiFi makes it a great spot to pop open your laptop and get some work done while enjoying your meal.My favorite? The Smokey the Bear juice. If you love a little spice, this is the drink for you!

We enjoyed a nice casual brunch here. You order and pay at the counter and thet bring you your food and drinks and you bus your own dishes when done. The green sandwich was tasty and comes on your choice of a bagel, croissant or toast. The lemon lavender pancakes were so delicious and they were veey generous with the lemon curd. We did not even need the pancake syrup since the curd was so tasty in itself. The cinammon brown sugar latte was pretty but not sweet enough for me. They do have a section with milk and sugar etc. if you need to doctor your drinks. Others in our group got the breakfast plate, thr breakfast burrito, and the cuban sandwich. All were satisfied with the food and portion sizes.

Our Airbnb was a 5 minute walk to this place making it very convenient to stop here for coffee and a quick bite before a day of sightseeing. We ordered lattes for our caffeine fix, a breakfast sandwich, and a quiche. The lattes were excellent. I ordered mine with caramel so it was on the sweeter side, but definitely worth a try. My partner ordered a breakfast sandwich, the one she ordered only had egg and cheese on it, she didn't realize it, they are very generous with the egg and the sandwich is delicious, but my partner tends to get sick when she eats too much egg. I got the Quiche Lorraine, It was a very generous piece of Quiche. It was tasty and filling, it kept me full for most of the day. They also have a huge selection of hot sauce, it was nice to pick a few and try new ones that I hadn't seen before. This place was pretty busy, but they got the orders out fast. If you're in the area and in need of caffeine, stop by here.

When traveling, I always try and find a bagel with vegan cream cheese. It was pretty hard to find in New Orleans, but Avenue Cafe delivered with a tasty vegan breakfast sandwich and even better that it was paired with a bloody mary! The staff were all very friendly!

Last year, I came to New Orleans immediately after eating my way through Tijuana and the Lafayette, LA metropolitan area. So, I was ecstatic when I found The Daily Beet within walking distance of where I was staying with a thoughtful, vegetable forward menu that looked extremely appetizing. I immediately beelined over and ordered the Beet Benedict. Not only was it finger lickin' good, but it was plated so exquisitely that multiple people stopped by my table with inquiries: "Excuse me, sir. What menu item is that?"***"That looks amazing. I'll order that the next time I come."***"May I ask, how is that dish? Okay, great." The mother then turns to her adult son and tells him to order a beet toast for her. This place is a whole vibe, and I highly recommend it!!!

I enjoyed the Good Bird near Tulane. The location is convenient, it has a good amount of seating and some great food options. I ordered the Greek salad made gluten free with chicken on top. It was ready pretty fast and had a good amount of chicken in it. The staff were friendly:)

Yay! I was really hoping I could write another amazing review about this place. I just placed an order on Uber eats. You know an establishment is 100 when you place an order on Uber eats and you have one of the employees of the place you're ordering from (In my case it was Shelby-shout out to Shelby) Gives you a personal call to clarify your order- making sure they have it just right- along with letting you in on what buttons to press to help you out next time. Raw Republic, you will continue to have my business!

"Great service , from the moment you walk in.. the gentleman was very helpful in my questions ... I got the bowl and a smoothie ... the ambiance and the vibe is welcoming. Will definitely be back"
"We regularly stay at the Kimpton Fontenot, the hotel this little joint is part of, but have always opted for the other two restaurants (King Brasserie and Peacock Room). We should've come by here earlier - it was well worth it!The coffees are freshly made and of good quality. I got the Peppermint Mocha and it was excellent. We took our coffees with us on a walk because there wasn't much seating (and it is a bit loud if there is a full house). But this is definitely a great place to swing by or stay a while if you can snag a seat.Only downside is that it does take a bit of a wait until you get your coffee (or at least it did for me). The baristas seemed to be working hard and consistently, so it doesn't seem to be an issue of effort at least."
"I had the chicken arepas and the beef ones. Both were great but I think I like the chicken better overall. The Elotes Loco was great and my cappuccino is gonna keep me going!"
"The food here is AMAZING. Everything on the menu sounded so appetizing but we came here early in the morning so we could only choose from breakfast options. However our next trip we will definitelyyyyy be back to try items like the seafood potatoes, lamb chops, fish, etc.The shrimp & grits here are now the best shrimp and grits I ever had! Not even exaggerating one bit. We got it with scrambled eggs, a biscuit, and fried shrimp and not even one bite was leftover. Every single bite was flavorful and creamy and the whole meal was extremely satisfying and enough for 2. The fried shrimp was perfection. The beignets really blew my mind. We finished those with ease because of how tasty they were. I'm not even a fan of donut-like desserts but I would get these every time. The inside was so soft and fluffy. This was easily a 10/10 meal and extremely satisfying. You don't find food like this just anywhere so definitely try it if you're close by."
"Beautiful patio overlooking the water. Tons of outdoor seating and even a shaded area with fans and a nice breeze.Wheelchair accessible."
"This yoga/juice cafe is such a great little spot and has been a wonderful addition to Houma's quaint scene. The calm, clean ambiance and friendly staff provide a perfect place to escape from a busy work day. I haven't attended any of the yoga classes yet, but I love to visit for lunch. The juices are made of freshly squeezed fruits and veggies. Every flavor is a gem. The sandwiches, wraps, and salads are fresh, crisp, and overall lovely. R2R even offers produce boxes that are curated using items from the Hollygrove Market in New Orleans. And the yoga space is available for rent with (I believe) some catering options!I really have nothing but good vibes for Root2Rise!"
"So I ordered from this place through Uber eats once but decided this past weekend that we'd stop in and check it out. When I ordered Uber eats I tried the Uber eats cheesecake and I'll be honest, it wasn't my fav. However when we visited in person I tried the dragonfruit mango green tea with bursting strawberry boba and my son did the mango smoothie. So the mango smoothie was great and was essentially just blended mango. The tea was good but it was way too sweet for my liking and i tasted nothing but strawberry so maybe I'll leave out the boba next time I try it. The place is super cute though and the service was great as well. Next time I'll try one of the other baked goods."
"We loved their lattes so much, we had breakfast there three days in a row! While cafe au lait is nice, we're diehard latte fans and were so lucky to find PJs, also close to our hotel."
"Absolutely love this place. They sell meal replacement shakes and wellness teas. It's a ritual to go every Sunday for the huge variety of flavored teas. I love them because they are all sugar free. Great for diabetics. The service and owner are always great."
"Omg! This place is SO good! The fact that it's in such close proximity to my house is dangerous for my waistband, especially because it's also open late most nights. Their menu is huge, so you're more than likely to find something to satisfy your savory or sweet cravings. I love their paletas, or popsicles. My favorite is the Ferrero chocolate (which tastes like hazelnut) and I also love their pistachio. Obsessed!!"
"Everything was exquisite! My friends and I had the Jibarito. A sandwich with two huge fried plantains instead of bread! The sandwich itself was delicious with beef or chicken and a yummy sauce. The three of us devoured our tostones sandwiches as if we had never eaten anything better. I had a cortado, better than the ones I had in Miami, plus it was in a large cup. I may not sleep tonight! Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. The prices are very reasonable! I definitely recommend this restaurant. Have to add that the service was delightful and the place airy, with lots of windows. All in all a lovely place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends or by yourself!"
"Great super fresh smoothie. My first time trying was today. Got a chicken apple flatbread, that was delicious. Got the island green smoothie that was yummy also. Definitely can tell made with fresh ingredients not purées. Inside decor was nice and light also. Will be back!"
"Dragon berry is the truth! Never had a bowl but I definitely want to come back and get one."
"Best tasting drinks around!!! So grateful to be apart of this club!! Thank you for always making bomb drinks & teaching me about Herbalife!!! #betterme #betterlifestyle"
"I found this gem yesterday while heading home from the office and feeling parched. I was looking for a fresh iced tea and Hi-Balls was perfect.I was greeted by Nathan, the owner, who was warm amd welcoming. His place is a great spot to take a load off and chill. Teas. Coffees, plant based ice cream, food and smoothies, mocktails, cocktails, aaaaaaaand.....free wifi! The interior space is decorated with Nathan's own, very cool artwork, and there is additional outdoor seating. Nathan offered me a taste of this month's specialty ice-cream and I was blown away. I'm looking forward to my next visit."
"I had the turkey avocado sandwich with a fresh fruit cup and it was delicious!!!! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something healthy to eat. I haven't found a good turkey sandwich like that since I was in San Francisco for 6 weeks after hurricane Katrina!!!"
"Seriously, this food is EXCELLENT every time I go! And their malts? Ice cream ? Don't get me started on those! The BLT is awesome. Avocado & turkey is to die for. Cute cafe and small local business for us to support. Highly recommended"
"Delicious breakfast/brunch/lunch spot right across the street from the New Orleans Convention Center and cruise departure port. What that also means is there will be a long line and long wait. I know so because I walked past every day for a week. Two Chicks Cafe is pretty small and houses only a handful of tables and a bar counter to sit at. This is the kind of place you go to when you want to be sure your taste buds will be pleased with scrumptious food, but you don't expect anything in terms of available service and timely food arrival.Crab cake benedict - they load up on real crab and the Cajun hollandaise was very creamy with a nice, spicy kick. All on a buttery croissant. Very rich, very savory, will make you want to go take a nap afterward. Got a side of cheese grits which were smooth and creamy, but needed some more salt.Under the sea omelet - makes you wonder if this is a breakfast dish or a dinner for two. Comes with a side of toast of your choice. The omelet was packed with seafood and veggies. Went with a side of flavorsome roasted potatoes that were seasoned very well.Strawberry banana smoothie - good and typical, nothing special about it, heavy on the iceSolid place to have a meal at if you are fine with the likely possibility of standing in line and waiting a while for food. Don't arrive when you're starving."
