"Super sweet find! Owner used to have a nursery and is very knowledgeable about her plants. She grows the kava herself. Surprisingly big space with lots of different rooms to hang out in, as well as outdoor space. It was very quiet when I went, which was nice. Tons of board games, so you can easily spend a while there. She also sells succulents in cute little pots. Kava is very bitter and earthy tasting. The pineapple really helps, but to be honest I didn't mind the taste that much. My boyfriend had a hard time with it. I could definitely see why people might enjoy it more in a flavored drinkHappy hour 3-7, which gives you double kava! A great deal"
"Lovely customer service!!!! I got a mango and passion fruit with condensed milk snowball it's perfect !!!! It's not too sweet which is great !"

"This lady makes the most delicious cakes I think I've ever eaten. Her petite fours are to die for and she made this stunning cake for my Grandma's birthday. She doesn't have a store front, everything is by order only so, you get the freshest cakes possible. She's a genius!"
"The Pink Agave, 4001 Nicholson Dr, Baton Rouge. We usually do not go to a newly opened restaurant until they have worked out the kinks and it has several reviews on Yelp. We went Saturday, which was Day 2 after their opening and we were pleasantly surprised. We will be going back. My only complaint is that chips and salsa are not complimentary. Oh, they pour their drinks strong, so you may need a designated driver."
"Cute little spot, super nice employee, great food presentation, and the sandwich was delicious."
"Those mini Monday cookies are such a rip off. I ordered some today and they definitely weren't as big as they portray on Instagram. You are better off buying the regular cookie and splitting it four ways - you will definitely save money!!And the workers barely make eye contact with you when you walk through the door! That is wild to me!"
"We are still regular visitors and still love this place. The service has always been great and still is. Manager Eric is cheerful and attentive and all the servers are friendly and helpful. We ate there again today with family members who are here as Hurricane Martin bears down on their home in Florida. I got the Burrito Supreme, with rice and beans. Simply amazing, and I took half home for lunch the next day."
"Had the strawberry shake. Prompt service. Selection is great. Enjoyed the short visit."
"Stopped in today and all I can say is, "yum!" What a great experience! I have been stopping into The Bistro for years now while going to our many doctor's appointments. Spotting lots of new faces behind the counter, but always greeted with a smile. The lunch special was incredible! I love how the food is consistently delicious! Keep up the excellent work!! The sugar cookies are and have always been amazing! I have battled parking in that hospital parking garage to get my hands on those cookies! you won't be disappointed!"
"I absolutely love this place, we use to go to El Agave before the ownership change and redo. This is now our go to, we love the food and service... Omar is the best, the entire staff is great!!!Have not had one bad thing off the menu yet!!!Recommend this to anyone looking for more authentic food at a great price with great service!!!"
"Great place to buy fresh baked goods. I come here every time I am in Houma. They have the best Beignets in the world! I highly recommend this place for coffee, and baked goods. Light powdered sugar for me."
"We arrived 7pm on a Friday night. We were greeted immediately by a friendly host who had us seated within a few minutes at our requested area , outside. This is where the live music is performed. I thought the outdoor area would be too warm but they had fans going and sitting at the table was comfortable. We ordered iced tea which was served in very large clear plastic tumblers. I want to guess they were at least 24 oz The service was quick and friendly. We got the wrong appetizer Ordered Mac n cheese with crawfish but got fried pickles. We were so surprised at how tasty the fried pickles were. Actually preferred them over the Mac n cheese. We ordered the soft shell crab over linguini and crawfish. It was good, a lot of food. The two piece band played hank Williams and folksy type tunes."

Love this beautiful kava bar! Super mellow in here. I had 2 great nights here when in town for work. I've done kava plenty of times, and this place has great energy. Also loved the outdoor area. Met tons of kind and interesting people. I will def be coming back. This is the ONLY real kava bar in New Orleans. Super strong Bula!Kava is a miracle!

This place is definitely a girls night place. We went here for my birthday dinner with friends and got sooo many good pictures. I got a chimi and my husband got the quesabirria both were pretty good. We got a few drinks and those were pretty good too. But you can't beat the atmosphere and picture backgrounds.

What a find! The proprietor, Ms Chung, is a ray of sunshine, eager to please and a good cook! We had Bibimbap which was delicious. For the vegan in our group, she made rice noodles with veggies. The grilled cheese and chicken salad sandwiches also were delicious. The beignets rivaled those of the best in New Orleans. The restaurant was closed for 14 months after Ida in 2021, so she just reopened in November 2022. She said she doesn't have her full menu open. It was good enough for us!

Prices, taste and quality.... I understand it's in the name, but a cookie you cannot hold and eat with out having it all over myself, the car, the floor.... Not a good thing. Price wise... WOW !!! Ant decent bakery in the area tops both their taste and price by a mile. Sorry, it should be more accurately named Cookies for the Rich and Foolish...

Really good authentic food. Hand made corn tortillas were stellar .Cocktails did the trick but were made by an inexperienced bartender so there is some improvement to focus on. The ambiance was a loud , open, cantina vibe.

Been here a few times now. Their snowballs do not disappoint. Mojito is one of the flavors and it is amazing! Checked out other snowball places and they do not have this flavor. I faithfully come back every time just for the mojito snowball.

"I had the lengua tacos and my husband had the Birria tacos. Both were amazing, as well as the appetizer and cocktail! Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!"
"It pains me to knock off a star for a bakery that is obviously well liked. This is a new, second location (first is in Hammond) & their reviews for that location are very high. Batter is doing something right! My mom, husband, and I just did not enjoy any of the 4 cookies we chose. I'm not going to elaborate because I hope it's just a matter of preference. The price for the size of the cookies is very good though. I also felt like the coffees were half full & for $6.50, they shouldn't be. We did enjoy the pop-tart, cinnamon roll, and cupcakes. I would like to try the brownies, petit fours, and cake slices eventually. The store is really cute, clean, and quaint, and, as a dog lover, I appreciated them allowing someone to bring in her dog for a to-go coffee. We drove in from 30 minutes away just to try Batter on our day off, so I think 4/5 stars is fair for the parts of our experience that we did enjoy. I'm just sad about the cookies."
"Exceptional service!! The kindest team and leaders I've met in New Orleans. So proud of them I bought a T-shirt to promote as much as I can."
"My wife and I always go to get frozen yogurt at night for some reason. When I saw they had opened a frozen yogurt shop right next to my house, we were all about it! They are the sweetest people ever. They also have the most unique flavors. One time I went in and got a peach flavor (which I've never had before) and it was amazing! These last couple of times, they have had this cherry amaretto flavor and it gives me LIFE! I'm never disappointed when I get the itch to go in here for something sweet. Ted's is wonderful."
"Every once in a while I end up on Da Bayou when I visit my girlfriend. Yeah I realize my lady friend lives a freaking gazillion miles away. (That was kind of intentional at 1st, who knew my ass could commit....sorry off track) When I visit her it seems like good food options are kind of hard to come by. Well now I know where to get an excellent po-boy! This place reminds me of the time I spent living in the Midwest where every town has a "dairy". A dairy is kind of like a Dairy Queen except they usually don't have much of a name, serve soft serve ice cream, slushies, some pork tenderloin sandwiches, burgers, vanilla cokes, and the such. The Chill Out has the look of one of those dairies and also that of a snowball stand on steriods. The serve snowballs, ice cream and a ton of different variations of sundaes and such. They all have a pretty extensive menu of po-boys, soups, something called a roast beef sundae(I'm told it involved roast beef, gravy and mashed potatoes.) hot tamales, and other things as well.I was quite surprised at the flavor of the roast beef po-boy. It was pretty much all roast beef debris and a really good gravy. That is the way I like it. I would put this po-boy up against some of the best in Nola. Yeah it's Parkway and Bear's good! I also like the fact that they include pickles when you ask fot it dressed. Very few places do that these days. Great little gem on Da Bayou. It's only take-out which seems to be it's only downfall."
"First trip to NOLA and of course you HAVE to get beignets! Everyone talks about Cafe Dumonde, everyone also talks about how long the wait is to get into Cafe Dumonde. Our AirBnB host recommended this place as the best beignets around... they did not disappoint!!!No lines, huge parking lot, get beignets! We personally like the beignet bits, but 3 full size or 12 bites for $4 is a no-brainer. Its a cool little coffee shop, lots of local art, and of course fantastic beignets!!"
"My friend and I visited this location twice in one day; once for gift cards and once for cookies. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We easily procured the gift cards and later that night decided to go back for cookies. We ended up getting a four pack of cookies. I can't speak for the flavors too directly because they change all the time, but we did get the original chocolate chip and honestly.... It wasn't that good. Of the 4 flavors we got the chocolate chip was my least favorite. So I would honestly skip that one if you notice a flavor you'd rather try. Otherwise the other flavors were awesome. Will definitely be back!"
"Very good breakfast burritos I drive from Hammond to get one when I'm up early enough bc they aren't all day..."
"This was a fun stop on the last night of my trip. The cute establishment was welcoming and we were thrilled with the offerings at this late at night. We brought a half dozen and 1 mini cheesecake. We tried 3 of the six: caramel; strawberry; and banana pudding. Of those three the banana pudding was the best. I liked the strawberry for the cake texture. The caramel was entirely too sweet and the cake itself wasn't good.We are flying back to California with a chocolate banana and pecan praline cupcake in my carry on. Lol"
"Bella Ladi supplied my wedding with four dozen cupcakes - vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing, and chocolate cake with chocolate cream icing. Needless to say, even with the caterer's cobbler and a snoball station, these cupcakes were gone immediately! The cake was moist, the icing was sweet but not cloying, and the price was right. They went so quick the bride didn't even have time to snag one!Hats off to the Bella' Slidell confections!"
"I've passed by this place and never thought to stop by until I ran across a story on IG about the owners. I'm always down to support a black owned business so, I made sure to stop by while in town for the July 4th holiday.Man! I have been missing out on some good food!! I ordered the fish sliders and they were delicious!! Next time I'm trying them fully loaded. The restaurant definitely reminds me of wing joints here in Atlanta. Good vibes, drinks and food!"
"The food is very tasty and super reasonably priced. It's actually really cheap for the area but the food is really good quality to say how reasonably priced it is. The desserts kind of cost more than the food. There is a great courtyard to hang outside and people watch all of the Magazine St happenings. The inside is kind of quirky and small but is a cute little place to get a quick bite and hang out for a date or just to catch up with a friend. The plates are small but complete and filling. If you get a couple of items on your own you'll be stuffed but if you split with friends you can have room for food and desserts. The place just opened so the staff has lots of time to give great recommendations of things for tourists to do. It's a slightly bias review because I know the owners but everything is truly delicious and that is not bias at all. They invited all of their friends for a soft opening and everyone could not have been more impressed."
"Sugar cookies - still so-so.Chocolate filled cream puff? Oh dear god HUGE and it's so good. So is the eclair, as mentioned last time... so they get 4 stars instead of my previous 3. Yum!"
"Old Towne Soda Shop is a delightful blast from the past and a must-visit spot for some nostalgic fun! From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a simpler time with its charming ice cream parlor, vintage pinball machines, and even a miniature golf course. The ice cream selection is fantastic--creamy, flavorful, and perfect for all ages. Whether you're a classic vanilla lover or adventurous with toppings, there's something to satisfy every sweet tooth. Pair that with an old-fashioned soda, and you've got the ultimate treat. The vintage pinball games add a playful touch, offering a fun challenge for kids and adults alike. It's such a unique way to enjoy a bit of retro fun. And if that's not enough, the miniature golf course is a wonderful addition, making it a perfect spot for a family outing, date night, or just some leisurely fun with friends. The staff is friendly and welcoming, adding to the charm of the experience. If you're looking for a place that combines sweet treats, vintage vibes, and good old-fashioned fun, Old Towne Soda Shop is it!"
"I had a completely different experience than previous reviewers. Pizza is delicious and staff are more than friendly and accommodating. It's just as great every time I go. And did I mention inexpensive? Definitely a great lunch spot."
"Food Great, Service Impeccable, and Ambiance Angelic and Sweet in Pink. Treat yourself to something sweet!Specializing in a variety of desserts, this establishment offers a delightful selection of cakes, pastries, and confections to satisfy any sweet tooth."
"Hey Puccino's! I'mNow addicted to your coffee courtesy of Cartozzo's Bakery. Please set up a system of mail order. Maybe Amazon?"
"OMGGG! So amazing. Get there early because they sell out QUICK! In Houma for work and made a weekend trip to check out what the fuss was all about! AMAZING! Best cake ever."
"I've scoured the city for the best boba spot and this is my favorite by far! Particularly because the boba is actually good! Standard milk tea (75% sweetness) isn't too bitter nor sweet. The Oreo boba is also great. Not so much a fan of the dirty boba - a bit too overly sweet for me. Helpful staff and they're quick to get orders taken care of."
"Dream House never fails me, their price has gone up a few cents but it's worth the money. My boyfriend put me on to his favorite, Peach Kiwi with lychee jelly. He claims they put it specifically on the menu for him Lol. I even tried the Pandan Cake as a birthday cake, it was very Interesting and not what I'm used to but very moist and soft. The icing reminds me of the Texas Roadhouse butter that comes with the rolls. I'll continue being a loyal customer!"
"Great owner, great food, great pours. Excellent establishment to watch an LSU game or just chill with friends and grab some wings and onion rings."
