"It's a super cute spot! I went there with a group of friends after dinner. We were overwhelmed by how many options they offered in this little spot. The server was kind enough to give us some recommendations. We ended up having different things. I had Vietnamese coffee flavor ice cream and loved it! I will go back and try one of their drinks soon."
"It's a 5 for me dawg! Not my first time here but my first review. This 5 is for everything thing all rolled into one aka body of work not just one experience. You may go one day and they are out of hash or good too late and there is no food. Even the credit card machine could be down. It may be crowded but the line moves fast and the people working serve you with a smile. *le sigh* I am hopping ya'll to another one of my go to hidden gems in NOLA. Pro tip: They open at 6am. Go early. The earlier the better. True. You can DoorDash and the like but do it early! Some of you ask asking what is a buttermilk drop? For the uninitiated think of a big donut hole at the top of its game glazed to perfection. What else do you get? The bakery is on one side. The savory food on the other. Whatever you want for breakfast is available. Grits (no sugar, please. In how reviews with grits have I said this?), eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, fried chicken, breakfast rice. Yes! Breakfast rice. It saves lives! In the simplest of terms and for descriptive purposes only think of friend rice. Got the picture? Take out the carrots and peas. Add green onions and bits of link sausage, ground sausage, maybe bacon? Check out the picture. This deliciousness fixes whatever ails you from the night before. Speaking of pics, I know. You can hear the crunch on the chicken right? Tastes as good as it looks. Just a wee hint of spice. I didn't get a pic of a buttermilk drop (use ya googles) but I did get a pic of my Apple fritter. Big enough to share but I am not. Pro tip 2: Bring ya patience and your manners with you to the 7th ward. The Buttermilk Drop isn't some glorified tourist trap."

"We arrived 7pm on a Friday night. We were greeted immediately by a friendly host who had us seated within a few minutes at our requested area , outside. This is where the live music is performed. I thought the outdoor area would be too warm but they had fans going and sitting at the table was comfortable. We ordered iced tea which was served in very large clear plastic tumblers. I want to guess they were at least 24 oz The service was quick and friendly. We got the wrong appetizer Ordered Mac n cheese with crawfish but got fried pickles. We were so surprised at how tasty the fried pickles were. Actually preferred them over the Mac n cheese. We ordered the soft shell crab over linguini and crawfish. It was good, a lot of food. The two piece band played hank Williams and folksy type tunes."
"FABULOUS FOOD!The meat on the gyros is the tastiest I have ever had. I will admit I don't eat A LOT of gyros, but I've had enough to know that this meat is special. Perfect combo of toppings on a great pita as well. And it's reliably good each time you order. The soups are amazing as well. Definitely recommending!"
"We picked this place out on a whim as the reviews were amazing. We came in with our littles and were greeted by a smiling server. She was so bubbly and loved all options in the menu. It was hard for her to tell us her favorite. She finally decided on the French toast and she wasn't wrong. We ordered the fence toast and the shrimp tacos with eggs and were so happy with all the sweet and savory flavors. As we sat and ate, we noticed that the chef was featured in many of the exerts that were hung on the wall. We looked at the chef and saw him sitting at one of the tables in the back of the restaurant. Such a great scene when the owner is there. Amazing food, great service and flavor that will keep you wanting more."
"Discovering Mister Apple was such a treat! We stayed at the One11 Hotel, and from our window, we could see the store. We made it our mission to stop by before leaving New Orleans. The treats were good and there's a lot to choose from. The service was great. The atmosphere was down-home and inviting. Please visit here!"
"Food was delicious. Our server Dom was exceptionally nice and helpful. The setup of the interior was enjoyable and classy."
"Amazing. My favorite bakery. Just come here. I love the lunch options and can't leave without a dessert (or 6 macarons lol). Absolutely the best! Pretty sure I already have a review for Les Amis so no need to add to my wordiness."
"I had the lengua tacos and my husband had the Birria tacos. Both were amazing, as well as the appetizer and cocktail! Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!"
"Great prices and delicious down home cooking! Location is super accessible from Front st and from the back streets."
"I come here very often bc it's close to home and my dude really enjoys it. It has slowly become one of my fav sushi places in the Westbank. The rolls here are basic, but they do it well. The fish is always fresh and I've never had a bad experience. I usually dine in for lunch and it comes with complimentary noodle salad. Some of the rolls I always order that never disappoint are: Red dragon roll - Crunchy roll with tuna, BBQ eel, and avocado on top. Tiger roll - California roll with BBQ eel and salmon on top. Tornado roll - this comes tempura fried, but since we don't really enjoy fried rolls, we always ask for it not to be fried and they always accommodate to our needs. Zen tempura - shrimp tempura with spicy tuna and cream cheese. Tiger eyes - my bf really enjoys this, but it's a very big roll and instead of being wrapped with rice and seaweed, it's wrapped in cuttlefish. It's a very different roll and a little heavy for me. I always get all my rolls light rice bc if not, it's very thick and filling! And get their sauces on the side or else your rolls will be drowning in it!"
"Walked in to a nice display of French pastries. Wanted to see if we could order drinks but they only had coffee in the carafe and an out of order Coke vending machine. We wanted to sit in and eat our pastries because we didn't think they'd hold up in the heat in the car.Got a couple of Napoleon's, an éclair, a fruit tart and a strawberry shortcake. All was delicious and the fruit tasted so fresh. The facility is really set up for production and they must cater to businesses and special orders. Would definitely visit again."

Sweet Handkraft has a huge menu! Hopefully I will get to try more in the future but everytime I go I get the same thing (Chocolate Chip Cookie). It is just that good! It's not like any cookie I've ever had before. It's super thick and filled with chocolate chips. The service is always really good as well. I would definitely recommend.

For a hearty breakfast, go to this takeout-only, no-frills bakery inside a bare space. The people who create and sell the food are friendly and patient. From chicken and waffles to coffee, they have it all. I ordered a bag of $12 buttermilk donut holes for $2.50. The donut holes were sweet and large. They take credit cards.

This is an annual stop for our family as we leave NOLA and head back to Texas. We love this place and the town. The food has always been good! We had the cheese curds, seafood bucket, catfish etouffee, Bing pasta, catfish plate, and shrimp Agnes. As usual the food was. Delicious! Our service was amazing!!! Never needed to ask for refills and she checked on us often. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is we miss the fried oysters.

Visited on a Sunday after coming to town for the LSU game. We read that there could be long wait times but we didn't have a long wait. I think we may have been able to join the line ahead of time somehow to minimize it. We were seated in a both which was cozy for the two of us because we are tall but it worked. We ordered the crawfish omelette and some chicken wings. Both were seasoned well and they were good sized portions. The staff were polite and worked quickly to serve everyone. Glad we tried it. If we returned to the area, could see us going back and trying more items.

"Best anywhere. I was watching it being made as a giant log by a fudge master through the window. I waved and gave him a thumbs-up. He reciprocated. After a couple minutes he left for something. Then I saw him walk up to me outside and hand me a chunk. He noticed my birthday shirt. Typical southern hospitality. Pecan, carmel, and fudge. It was the best in years.Recommended."
"Debbie on the levee!I went in before work, I'm so happy I did! I was greeted with smiling faces! Opens at 7am! 10/10 BBLT Beignet Bacon Lettuce TomatoIced Brew #breakfast #lunch #happyhour #blt"
"I've passed by this place and never thought to stop by until I ran across a story on IG about the owners. I'm always down to support a black owned business so, I made sure to stop by while in town for the July 4th holiday.Man! I have been missing out on some good food!! I ordered the fish sliders and they were delicious!! Next time I'm trying them fully loaded. The restaurant definitely reminds me of wing joints here in Atlanta. Good vibes, drinks and food!"
"SUMMARY: on a first visit, Ben's gets a solid 4/5 that I expect to go up with future visits. My wife, toddler, and I all found things we love and can't wait to come back. FOOD: I had a #11 Grilled Chicken Sandwich fully dressed and enjoyed it. It wasn't anything spectacular, but the execution was every bit as good as Chik-Fil-A, and I didn't have to wait 30 minutes to place my order. The only thing I would do differently is add extra pickles. My wife ordered the BIG BEN and liked it. I tried it and found it too busy. All the parts were good, but I found the chili and fries with fry sauce on a double cheese burger a bit much. Having said that, I enjoyed each of the flavors in their own right and the patty was well-cooked and generously sized. I am looking forward to returning to try a regular burger. We got a Kids' Meal for our son and he enjoyed it. It's 4 nuggets, a GENEROUS serving of fries and a drink. As you can see in the pictures, the nuggets are cooked to perfection: crispy outside and moist inside. Fries were well done and stayed crispy outside even as they cooled. Onion rings were excellent. Now I have two places in the NOLA are where I can go for good onion rings.Basic Coke fountain drinks are available; the fountain and self-serve was clean and tidy. Barq's is available at the fountain AND in glass bottles. Bud, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Miller Lite, and Corona Light are also available. AMBIANCE: classic NOLA. Awesome Saints and food murals. Small, picnic-style wood tables perfect for 4 dining intimately or 2 with plenty of elbow room. Flat screen that I'm certain will have Saints games in season. CLEAN. That really stood out as we ate over an hour and staff bussed and cleaned, keeping the entire space clean and tidy. CLIENTELE: we dined in on a Saturday early afternoon and we saw people dressed in business formal, an auto mechanic, other families with young children, older couples, and retirees sporting LSU and hunting/fishing attire. It was a nice slice of Metairie. STAFF: obviously the cooks did a good job, but everybody was friendly, kind, and patient (I didn't communicate clearly, the order got messed up, and they made it right even though it was my fault). Can't wait to come back."
"I have a sweet tooth, which is a really big problem for me. The cookies from Crumbl don't help much with the nutritional plan I'm suppose to follow. These cookies are large and delicious. I try to split my calories into days by only eating 1/4 of two cookies. I also try to share with others. All of that to say, these cookies are wonderful and I wish I could try the new flavors every week.I ordered ahead, arrived and went inside. I still a small wait so I walked over to the store. When I went back to retrieve my order, the young lady saw me coming and greeted me with the order. Everyone seemed pleasant and the store was clean. I love the set up. You are able to see everything being done. I also like the kiosk. Overall great experience. I forgot to take a pic before zi started inhaling them. This is what is left (no, I didn't eat them all by myself; lol)!"
"KK's is located on the Southwest side of Youngsville in the Cypress strip mall. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the food has always been great. Isometric my favorites are the bacon cheeseburger, the biscuit and gravy which is a large fluffy biscuit, chicken fried steak and the pancakes are delish. They have an extensive menu that has full list for breakfast, a lunch menu with a dozen sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs and then an entree list of items like shrimp, chicken, fish, hamburger steak and a whole list of salads. Lastly, don't leave without taking home a dessert. They have around 10 different cheesecakes plus cookies, brownies and other desserts to choose from. The service and food have always been excellent with the only drawback being there is often a wait to be seated. By 9am this place is full and on the weekend you can plan on waiting 30 minutes or more. They do call you when your table is ready, so you can always wait in the car if you have small kids. Enjoy!"
"I have been here multiple times. The staff is always super friendly and super efficient. If my daughter has a good week at school it's always her go to treat. The cookies are good but most of the time they are too sweet for me. However my daughter loves them. I just wish they had a sitting area"
"This is a Great place to go for yogurt. I love the tropical cream smoothie.. They have a variety of options, including banana, splits, and Sundae's. Be sure to pick up your coupon to use on Tuesday for buy one get one free ."
"I absolutely love this place, we use to go to El Agave before the ownership change and redo. This is now our go to, we love the food and service... Omar is the best, the entire staff is great!!!Have not had one bad thing off the menu yet!!!Recommend this to anyone looking for more authentic food at a great price with great service!!!"
"So i stopped coming here after I had a few items that didn't seem to be freshly made. I was in the mood for sweets today, puff pastry to be exact. I ordered the last fruit tart and it did not disappoint. I did feel like the some of the top and bottom layers were a little too browned to my liking. I just ate around it with no problems. The flavor of the cream was perfect, not too sweet or too thick. I would love the bakery to showcase more puff pastry goods such as croissants or Napoleons."
"How have I never reviewed Nola Cookie Co??? This is my go-to spot for cookies. Always warm and delicious. My favorite is their sugar cookie. I know I know it sounds boring. Yall... it's not! The dough is so good that other things distract from it. I wanna taste all the buttery goodness they put in there. And that sprinkle of salt on the top is just *chef's kiss* perfection! I'm literally a cookie snob now and all other cookies taste inferior to them. If you haven't had any, please fix that ASAP! Stop reading this and complete your order!"
"Dream House never fails me, their price has gone up a few cents but it's worth the money. My boyfriend put me on to his favorite, Peach Kiwi with lychee jelly. He claims they put it specifically on the menu for him Lol. I even tried the Pandan Cake as a birthday cake, it was very Interesting and not what I'm used to but very moist and soft. The icing reminds me of the Texas Roadhouse butter that comes with the rolls. I'll continue being a loyal customer!"
"This place was pretty busy for a Monday evening. They have so many cool options for snacks but being vegan I was a little limited. I went with the trusty mangonada and it is so good. Never had one? It is spicy, sweet, and salty (think tamarind candy) and sweet fruity goodness from the mango.I highly recommend giving this place a try. There's something for everyone."
"This is a MAJOR lesson to support small business. Because of convenience, I ordered a cookie cake for my niece's birthday from a well known national brand and it arrived a crumbled mess. And of COURSE this happened on a Friday night and they were already closed (MST) and closed all weekend. ..So in a panic, I jumped onto a local New Orleans food forum and found a business that had rave reviews. Ordered that same evening with a response (almost midnight my time) and they said they could make it happen (this was less than 48 hrs notice). MAJOR shoutout to @nolacookieco for the exceptional customer service and beautiful cookie cake customized for my niece! If you are in the area or have loved ones in New Orleans you want to spoil, I HIGHLY recommend supporting this female and black owned small business! They truly saved the day (and the weekend) !"
"Smells delicious- best donuts and other sweets. Out of sweet potato pie today, but I bet it's good!!!!"
"Made a dinner reservation for this place for an early birthday dinner and was not disappointed at all. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and is really quaint. The tables are decorated nicely and they have quite a few food options so that everyone can leave satisfied. Since we had eaten so much already in Nola I was not too hungry and opted for the salmon with fried shrimp on a bod of spinach and crawfish mac n cheese which was all so good. Our waitress was very nice and even brought me celebratory bread pudding for my birthday. At the end she even helped take our picture to commemorate this moment. Everything was great and I would definitely go back. My sisters enjoyed the beef medallions, the crab bisque and the sweet potatoes as well!!!"
"We are still regular visitors and still love this place. The service has always been great and still is. Manager Eric is cheerful and attentive and all the servers are friendly and helpful. We ate there again today with family members who are here as Hurricane Martin bears down on their home in Florida. I got the Burrito Supreme, with rice and beans. Simply amazing, and I took half home for lunch the next day."
"Me and my kids come here every weekend for breakfast and coffee! The workers are extremely nice and the food and coffee is always fresh!"
"The ladies working here were very friendly. The scoops were big and yummy. We were very hot when we stopped in here and it was the perfect break for us. The kids loved their ice cream and we had some water to cool down. The music was fun and the tables had some games to play. Great place I'd recommend."
"Omg! This place is SO good! The fact that it's in such close proximity to my house is dangerous for my waistband, especially because it's also open late most nights. Their menu is huge, so you're more than likely to find something to satisfy your savory or sweet cravings. I love their paletas, or popsicles. My favorite is the Ferrero chocolate (which tastes like hazelnut) and I also love their pistachio. Obsessed!!"
"It was pretty good! Honestly, on par with what you get from restaurant pasta (both "lower end" and more "fancy"). I got the carbonara with a couple of subtractions and additions, and it was tasty! I definitley had to add seasonings at home but again, I've never not had to add seasonings to a pasta lol. The pappardelle noodles were the perfect size for being coated with the rich sauce. So, I wouldn't say that you should totally drop everything and try it, but if you're in the neighborhood and feel like loading up on some carbs, it's worth it!"
"The food was great. Very tasty! I can't wait to go back. I also loved the vibe. I was able to get some work done on my laptop as well?"
"Exceptional service!! The kindest team and leaders I've met in New Orleans. So proud of them I bought a T-shirt to promote as much as I can."
