You may go one day and they are out of hash or good too late and there is no food. Even the credit card machine could be down. It may be crowded but the line moves fast and the people working serve you with a smile. *le sigh* I am hopping ya'll to another one of my go to hidden gems in NOLA. Pro tip: They open at 6am. Go early. The earlier the better. True. You can DoorDash and the like but do it early! Some of you ask asking what is a buttermilk drop? For the uninitiated think of a big donut hole at the top of its game glazed to perfection. What else do you get? The bakery is on one side. The savory food on the other. Whatever you want for breakfast is available. Grits (no sugar, please. In how reviews with grits have I said this?), eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, fried chicken, breakfast rice. Yes! Breakfast rice. It saves lives! In the simplest of terms and for descriptive purposes only think of friend rice. Got the picture? Take out the carrots and peas. Add green onions and bits of link sausage, ground sausage, maybe bacon? Check out the picture. This deliciousness fixes whatever ails you from the night before. Speaking of pics, I know. You can hear the crunch on the chicken right? Tastes as good as it looks. Just a wee hint of spice. I didn't get a pic of a buttermilk drop (use ya googles) but I did get a pic of my Apple fritter. Big enough to share but I am not. Pro tip 2: Bring ya patience and your manners with you to the 7th ward. The Buttermilk Drop isn't some glorified tourist trap."

"This coffee place a bit removed from downtown New Orleans offers a small market with produce and some house beverages in robust tall boy cans that seem like more than anyone should be drinking at one time. Their fresh pastries and beverage options were robust, with most special dietary needs covered. I got their version of a pop tart, and a chai. I was reassured that I wasn't the only one there ordering a chai. Both items were very sweet, and I saw someone hauling bags of Domino's sugar in. The overall flavor of the chai, however was excellent, and I liked my fruity pastry as well. It's likely a quick stop on the way to somewhere else, though there were a few places to sit. Ordering online in advance seemed wise as I did have to wait a bit."

"Walked in to a nice display of French pastries. Wanted to see if we could order drinks but they only had coffee in the carafe and an out of order Coke vending machine. We wanted to sit in and eat our pastries because we didn't think they'd hold up in the heat in the car.Got a couple of Napoleon's, an éclair, a fruit tart and a strawberry shortcake. All was delicious and the fruit tasted so fresh. The facility is really set up for production and they must cater to businesses and special orders. Would definitely visit again."

All of that to say, these cookies are wonderful and I wish I could try the new flavors every week.I ordered ahead, arrived and went inside. I still a small wait so I walked over to the store. When I went back to retrieve my order, the young lady saw me coming and greeted me with the order. Everyone seemed pleasant and the store was clean. I love the set up. You are able to see everything being done. I also like the kiosk. Overall great experience. I forgot to take a pic before zi started inhaling them.
