One of my favorite spots for breakfast in New Orleans. Everything is vegan and made daily, so everything tastes super fresh. They also give out free slices of bread with jam. The place is always busy, and is first come first serve so make sure to come early or they could run out of your favorite item for the day. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is tucked away in the cutest neighborhood in uptown. Always such a joy visiting. My favorite items are the pumpkin cheddar biscuit sandwich and the quiche.

Let me start off that I really appreciate this 100 vegan coffee/food/bakery spot. I visit every time I come to New Orleans. I have visited both locations, the original is just so darn cute, and I have the outdoor patio area. The downtown one is very convenient. I am giving 5 solid starts for the customer service in both locations. People working here are super sweet, friendly, helpful and just you get the feeling that they honestly enjoy their job. The cafe just has good vibes, that is all. The food, I ordered the French Strip sandwich with is mushrooms on a baguette and I love their breads, they are yummy and I am from SF so bread is on point. I just felt like maybe the sandwich was missing some more spices, maybe but the picked broccolini was very interesting. I also got the teabiscuit and I felt like it could have been more moist. The coffee - I got the regular drip and it just tasted very watered down, not a fan. CC accepted.

Still dig the place and what they do but majority of what I ordered was not that good. Blueberry scone was dry and flavorless. Brownie was dry and not sweet enough. More like cake than a Brownie. The lemon blueberry donut was way too sweet but decent. Cinnamon roll was ok. Tried the sausage biscuit and that was not bad. The French dip was good but I don't like hard bread so the baguette not my thing. $70 later and not satisfied. Staff is great and owners care. I'll order differently next time. Forgot but the croissant ordered was delicious, need to make a sandwich with that for sure!

My favorite place to eat when visiting!They have the most delicious vegan foods!I had the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. The flavor of the vegan sausage was so wonderful! I also had the King cake filled with vegan cream cheese- it is the Best King Cake of them all.Place is clean counter people are super friendly.You can eat in or take out.

The muffa-nadda was terrific! Best vegan one I have had so far! Super nice guy at counter since it was our first time, ever got some bread to go! We sat outside since it's been so beautiful lately! Sipped on a chai cold latte and matcha. Cannot wait to go back to try something else!

I went to Breads for the first time this morning. I walked and it smelled so delicious and fresh. The woman behind the counter was very helpful and educated me on the "discount" bread for sale. This bread was baked yesterday but didn't sell so it was on sale for cheap today. I got a ton of bread for $6 and it was super tasty. I will be a frequent from now on.
