This place was absolutely amazing! When they say crispy potato's, they're not lying. The service is top notch and they're all friendly. Great atmosphere .

A time was had.... I am always on the lookout for a good breakfast spot while on my adventures in New Orleans. I was excited to put this spot on my must do list. Breakfast sets the tone for my entire day. I encourage you to get up early because the line forms fast. There's indoor seating, patio, and rooftop. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Service was quick and friendly. The menu offers something for just about anyone. Griddle options, healthy bowls. But I was there for the biscuits. The menu boasts an amazing variety. I went with the special. It was their Couyon Daddy but with fried lobster. This was absolutely amazing!! The flavors worked well together. The lobster was crisp and juicy. But that biscuit tho!!! Look, I've grown up on biscuits. It's easy to tell a subpar biscuit, and baby this ain't it! Soft, flaky, absorbed that rich gravy and just added to the experience. I cleaned my plate and was completely satisfied with my meal and the experience. This is a must do for anyone visiting! The space is hip and welcoming. The team is very friendly and warm. The food was fantastic. If you don't get anything else, please get a biscuit. You won't regret it.

Haven't even received our food yet, and I'm already turned off by the music and its inappropriate content and language. Not everyone is numb and deaf. The cool visual display of plants cannot override my audio experience. Coffee is here and it's fabulous. Watch out as it's seriously HOT. We are still waiting for our food. You cannot be in a hurry here. Ugh, still waiting. We're here because we were told the food is great. I'll let you all know.

My wife and I first time eating here. We Waited 1hr and 30min then another 1hr and 30 mins for the food to get to my table. That's 3 HOURS!! I ordered the shrimp and grits. The flavor was there however the food was on the cold side. We were seated upstairs. I think they often forget about the customers up there.

Beautiful restaurant and great interior design. Clean and modern with wondeful capital investments. Killer patio.Service was fine. Aloof and not terribly concerned. Refills too late and no check on how my food was tasting.Meal was over the top salty and greasy. Honestly the potatoes were the best part and they knock it out of the park in this respect. Still, with all the salt and grease it was damn near inedible. As others have commented there are shit-tons of rules and regulations around when extra members of your party can join, as well as mandatory tips of 20% added for parties of two or more, in addition to a 3% added fee to use a credit card. We ended up paying cash but the 3% fee was added before we even got the check. Take a close look before paying. All this to say the anal retentive features, however well-intended, ruin those big easy vibes. They care too much about splitting every hair possible.Overall I personally would not return. GF's meal was solid. Some people don't mind all the fine print as much as myself.

I don't even eat breakfast anymore; however THIS is a meal I always make an exception for in Nola. Although I went to the CBD location, I think the uptown location has much more ambience. I've tried just about everything on the menu and I can honestly say that there isn't anything bad on it. Other than the wait; and even that can be fun; this is a must try in Nola. They have an iPad at the entrance that you just add yourself to the waiting list and they text you when your table is ready. Just the right amount of heat on the hot chicken to spice it up, but not enough to make the rest of your meal miserable. I feel like they may have changed their type of biscuits; nevertheless the chicken was fried to perfection with a nice crunchy crust and the spinach gravy has a little bit of a tang and a pop. Really good combination. Makes me wonder what they could do with traditional white gravy. The sandwich had a soft buttered brioche bun and was just as impressive. They also have a bakery not too far from their CBD location and through the window it looks like they have amazing stuff!

Bearcat CBD has a super neat and inviting vibe, which immediately puts you in a great mood as soon as you walk in. The service was friendly, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxed meal. Now, let's talk about the food--everything I had except for the seafood was absolutely delicious! The eggs, sausage, and potatoes were AMAZING! Full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and satisfying. I also enjoyed the drinks, which were pretty good and paired well with my meal. However, there was a downside. The shrimp in my Shrimp Daddy bowl and the shrimp in the shrimp and grits had a noticeable freezer-burnt taste that was really off-putting. It completely ruined the dish for me, and I ended up only eating the eggs and veggies, which were great. I really hope they can work on sourcing fresher seafood, as everything else was so tasty.Overall, I'd definitely recommend Bearcat CBD, just steer clear of the seafood. Everything else, from the sides to the drinks, was fantastic!

Got there when they opened and already had a small line because this place is just that fire! I had a hot chocolate and brother had a matcha latte, both unreal. We started with coffee cake, it was warm sweet and moist with a little powdered sugar sprinkle, best appetizer. I had mushroom scrambled with egg white and side potatoes, he had breakfast sandwich with bison sausage onions substituted and we shared blueberry pancakes. We rolled out of there without wasting a bite of that epic breakfast. We usually leave last bites or best bites for each other but we actually fought over the coffee cake. The atmosphere is cool and service is great, they're definitely used to being slammed. Food came out pretty quick and hot. I actually believe the price is fair for what you get, big portion. A solid #1 brunch in New Orleans for me and I'm a local.

This restaurant came highly recommended from multiple sources and it didn't disappoint. Though the waitlist seemed long, we were seated in a respectable timeframe. Speaking of seating, I highly recommend requesting outdoor seating on the restraunt's quaint patio - a hidden gem in the heart of the city. Servers were polite and professional, routinely checking in to see if we need coffee refills and to ensure our food was satisfactory. Which brings me to the food. My friend and I ate here two days in a row; the food was so good the first days we couldn't not go back the second. Everything we ordered (scallops & grits, biscuits w/ crawfish gravy, breakfast burrito, blueberry muffin, etc.) was exquisitely delicious! Seems like no matter what we ordered we were never disappointed. Finally, I'd like to specifically recognize the restaurant's general manager, Turner Anderson, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience at Bearcat was top-notch. He even came in on his day off to retrieve a hat I forgot the previous morning. You can't beat that type of personal care and give-a-damn.If your ever in New Orleans, do yourself a favor and go eat at Bearcat CBD - you'll only be disappointed if you don't!
