BAMBU

Bambu is one of my favorite bubble tea places. Their taro and Thai tea bubble tea are excellent and so is the service. Even when I get my food and drink delivered, it's packed with care. I didn't love the coconut jelly because it's not sweet at all, so I'll stick to mango jelly. The decor is really cute and the friendliness of the staff always makes me want to hang out there a while. They also have happy hour which is how I ventured away from my usual bubble tea order and have also tried the bao and banh mi. I found them flavorful and loved the abundance of carrots, cilantro, and other vegetables. The quality of the meat is what you'd expect from a snack shop, but the sauces are yummy. I highly recommend Bambu.

Great location in Metairie. Plenty of parking avaliable in the rear of the building.. The interior is spacious and has such a cute vibe to it. Definitely a chill hang out spot. Free wifi. Look forward to visiting a few more times to try more of the items

The perfect spot for not too sweet desserts (iykyk)! Loved the halo halo and taro lover. Servings are very generous in size. The shave ice is perfect for the NOLA summers weather. The dining area is cute and always clean. Definitely check them out!

We love it here pretty much every drink they have is so good. They do a waffle either Ube or pan Dan it's addicting. We have tried yogurt smoothies and fruit teas. You can pretty much order what you want. They are usually so friendly. Great value snack fresh and delicious and clean. Sooo good. This is such a good spot.

The decor of Bambu looked very aesthetic and pretty. The Vietnamese dessert that they sell called "Che" is really good too. I ordered the Bambu Special (#1), the Bambu Combo (#2), the Bambu Favorite (#10) & the Bambu Halo Halo (#15). Although the desserts were tasty, I did notice problems.First off, the service. It looked like the owner rang me up, and he was very cold and unenthusiastic to me whenever he asked for my order. As a person who works in customer service, I get it. You don't have to be happy all the time, but also don't be cold and rude to someone who's nice to you & giving you business. In contrast, the young lady who gave me my desserts I ordered was very nice to me, but the owner himself had a nasty attitude.Second off, the sizing are all the same. They don't give you options on which size to choose for your order, yet the #1 was $7.50 and the #2 & #10 were $6.50. The #15 only had a large size as one option, and that was $9.00. Pricing was high, but I guess I'll let that slide because of inflation and Bambu being a franchise. I would've gave Bambu a higher rating if the owner's attitude towards customers wasn't so rude. Aside from that, Bambu is worth trying for their authentic Che (a special and popular Vietnamese dessert). As for their Milk Teas & Smoothies, I haven't tried them but I'd rather go somewhere else like Tiger Sugar or ViVi's for that since that's what they specialize in; Bambu is mainly popular for Che. Taste wise, I would say this place is worth it if you're craving sweets.

I ordered a taro lover it had pandan jellies it was good. I also bought some macaroons those were very tasty would recommend and I went around closing time &still had great friendly service !

A cute place! As someone who has never tried Che before I was excited to try it. I got the Taro Lover Che. It was really good and was refreshing on a hot day. The staff were friendly and polite. A little on the pricey side, but it is a speciality dessert.My one complaint is the location itself, I literally missed it the first time driving down Vets looking for it, it's sort of hidden even with the big sign.

in an area full of boba and other desserts... Bambu stands out that they deliver with Vietnamese desserts... mostly Che, which is plenty of different jellies and coconut milk or coconut water. Our favorite is the Fruit Addict, Bambu Refresher, and Bambu Halo HaloThey make every drink to order and they do it quick too! The place is very clean, aesthetic and great place to visit@phidingthefam

I wasn't sure what to expect from a Vietnamese tea place, as I had primarily been to Japanese tea shops. This is by far my favorite! Fresh fruit and the basil seeds, wow. Try it, you won't regret it!

I always love coming here and getting a smoothie! I always get mango flavor mixed with another with jellies! The workers are always so nice and the place is cute!
