New Orleans Cajun Cafe

Had one of the guys come into my store and drop off a menu so I decided to check it out. Went a day or two later. Got a cup of gumbo, the gumbo was really good, good portion of meat / scrimps. I usually dislike gumbo everywhere I try it, I was beginning to think I only liked the idea of gumbo not actual gumbo. I also got the pontchatoula. Very good. Large portions and great flavor. Will def go back.

I was told about this location by a friend of mine so I came to check it out. Actually I came out on Monday and found out they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. They are located about 15 minutes from my job so it didn't take long to get here. I was in the mood for a shrimp loaf on Monday so that's what I ordered today. It comes with these curly fries that has a hint of spicy seasoning on them. The shrimp loaf was so loaded with shrimp, I could hardly close the bread. They were of a decent size and fried just right without being too hard and also with a hint of Cajun spices. I didn't get a menu but I know they have a variety of dishes to sample. I will return at a later date for more!

This location is a little off the beaten path. I think they could do a killer business at a new location. The cashier was very friendly and polite. The order came out promptly and was hot. I ordered the fish and shrimp platter, it was a good portion at a fair price. The fried shrimp was fantastic but the catfish sadly pulled down the rating. This is a place that I will try again and I have a feeling will be bumping up the rating after the next visit. Good variety on the menu. Went there with Yelper Earl A. who ordered the shrimp PoBoy and said it was totally 5 stars. Maybe next time.

Never disappoints! Gumbo and sauteed crab fingers are great! Service is great every time! The drinks are great and management is very friendly and involved

They are from New Orleans and they know what they are doing! The roast beef po-boy, seafood platters and even their burgers gave me life! Ya heard me?? The Gentily burger is so good!

I am so glad I decided to give this place a try, my taste buds are thanking me. I called in an order and the food was fresh and hot in 20 minutes. My family and I order a little bit of everything and all of it was good. The fried catfish was seasoned well and crispy like I like it, and the wings were too. The voodoo rolls were amazing and different than anything I've ever tasted. The shrimp Po boy was huge and enough for 2 people, and didn't need anything extra it was dressed to perfection.Lastly the Pontchatoula was delicious, to say the least. I had it with blackened catfish and it was the best cajun dish I've ever had, seriously. The sausage in the jambalaya was so tasty.This little red food truck puts a lot of the big name cajun restaurant's to shame!!
