Nem Nuong & Rolls

I love their cuon rolls. They have chao tom as well. Probably my favorite place in Houston.

I was excited to see a restaurant sell on the go rolls and have always wanted to try this place. They have solid rolls. I ordered the nem nuong, chao tom, and bo bia rolls and my least favorite was the bo bia because it had too much jicama. I think for nem nướng I would still prefer Brodard or Thuan Kieu but you can check this place out if you want a variety of choices.

I ordered on the phone a day before event and they were able to accommodate my order. Accepts Credit cards.Pricing varies due to inflation, but $108 for 50 rolls. The presentation on wrapping was done beautifully. Very clean and Neat, I appreciated the extra spicy sauce and garnishes for the spicy lovers.The portion is pretty big, you can probably get away with cutting it in half for parties & gatherings. I love how neatly its rolled and the pickled veggies and fresh lettuce. The crispy roll remains crunchy and nem nuong was seasoned and big chunk of meat. The quality is definitely better than Bodard to me. As for the sauce, Bodard wins on this one. The sauce made by Nem Nuong & Rolls is a little more sweeter...and thicker. Not sure if its because I'm use to Bodard's sauce.

Good nem nuong rolls! I enjoyed them with the extra crunch of the fried egg roll skin inside. Can eat with or without the sauce. I ate some the next day and because each were individually wrapped, the wrapper was not dried out or sticking to each other. Bought a tray of 50 and they said 20 minutes wait, walked to boba shop nearby and drank some boba and came back when it was ready! Convenient location with many boba and dessert shops nearby.

There's only one table to eat. It's very small. More of a take out kind of place. Small menu. Quickly served. They offer catering trays too! Will be back!

First time trying Nem Noung was when Nem Noung & Rolls just opened 2 years ago. I love exploring new things. I was not disappointed and quite frankly, these were delicious. However, there was a problem. I spent enormous time with cashier unnecessarily trying to figure out how to order. The menu price was confusing. They listed single roll price but had to buy 3 at a time. So, I contacted them on Facebook to compare the menu at Nem Noung & Rolls in Los Angeles. "Hey, look at this. As a customer, it's better to tell us up front on your true price." I told them I'm not coming back until the menu is fixed.So here I am, just few days before the end of year 2020. I found an ad in Yelp app that they deliver. Thank goodness, the menu is updated to make sense. Not just that, they allow mixed order.Back then, I asked my Vietnamese friends on how to eat them. Right, take off the wrapper like the a piece of reminder says. Order was not quick because they're made to order. I love freshly made rolls. If this is not during Covid-19 Pandemic, I would rather order catering for my little picnic in the park to share with friends. Because the dining room is a little too small.

Nem nuong is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes and this place does it right. The nem nuong is grilled and seasoned well. The other fillings in the spring roll complements the pork well. The dipping sauce is sweet, savory, and delicious... it reminds me of Brodard's famous orange sauce! If I'm ever in the mood for a filling snack I'll definitely stop by here and pick up some nem nuong spring rolls.

Came here for a togo order, it is mostly for togo orders there are a couple of tables in the place. The nem nuong roll was fabulous, we ate it a few hours later and it was still incredibly good. Next time we should try some more items, but also would definitely come back for these rolls.

We came to this place based on the recommendations. The place looks clean and the decor is basic, sitting for only 6 people.A majority of clients must take food 'To go'.The rolls are excellent, fresh and tasty.Be aware that the dishes on the menu are not always available: today only rolls.We are told that " he did not do anything with rice or noodles today " .I was planning to have some fried rice... it will be rolls.
