I have been getting peaches from the Peach Truck for the last 4 or 5 years. They were always really good. But the last 2 years not so much. They have been mealy and mushy the past 2 years. I don't know if they're pickiing them too early to meet the expanding footprint they offer, or what.Customer service is lacking, too. they published the wrong address on a pickup location so I had to go to another pickup to get my peaches. I called to let them know, and noone answered. Emailed and no response. It seems like all they have now is just really good marketing. Not good peaches or humans to provide customer service.

UPDATE 7/22: In response to the customer service representative's response: Why wouldn't this info be something the cashiers at the market are sharing? I am hearing this for the first time from you. And...tbh, if I had known they required "conditioning" I wouldn't have bought them. Seems there needs to be some process improvements put in place. I bought a bag of peaches from the Richland Park Farmer's Market yesterday and they were large, but sour in taste and super dry. Unfortunately, the quality and price point absolutely are not aligned. I don't think there's anything good about a dry peach. Will not return.

This firm once delivered glorious and inexpensive peaches. Those days are over. Prices have doubled over the past few years and quality has plummeted. This year was a low. I got a box off the first truck of the season and they tasted like mediocre grocery store peaches. I complained to the company that I didn't think a price of almost $4/lb (which you have to buy 12 pounds to get) was fair. They gave me a gift code for new peaches, which was appreciated. But the peaches that I got off the next truck were awful. Most were so mealy that they were inedible, and the ones that were edible were still partially mealy and flavorless.Sorry, but this is now just a ripoff. The Peach Truck is a specialty provider. It's supposed to do one thing - consistently provide top-level peaches. If it can't do that one thing any more, it should stop trading off of its previous ability to do so.

Peaches tasted amazing. Juicy, large. Used some to make peach cobbler- was amazing. Just a bit tough to pay $14 for 3 pounds, when local stores are charging.99 cents per pound.

If you are picking up peaches at a local stop, I have zero complaints. They have that down. Peaches are usually pretty great on these stops. After that, they are a mess. Communication is messy and confusing. Especially around changes. Then you can't reply to most emails. Constant pressing to preorder, even after you do, and then they can't really handle preorders correctly. I tried getting the peaches shipped this year and very much regret it. Preordered so can't control my schedule like what was the point?! Two boxes showed up this week. Sigh. At least 2 peaches are rotten in EVERY box and the rest are over ripe. For the ridiculous expensive cost...I was expecting much better. Very disappointed. Will still order but local pickup only and won't preorder too far out.

Friday afternoon, I purchased a bag of white peaches, peach hot sauce, and peach jam. I typically stay away from fruity hot sauces but decided to try something different. The hot sauce was flavorful but not too sweet. The habaneros added a nice spicy kick. Haven't tried the jam yet.The peaches were placed them in my pantry as instructed to soften/ripen up. Three were eaten on Saturday, and I knew they wouldn't last long. By Sunday, three had already gone bad. Lesson learned you have to eat these right away! The last two are now in my fridge.

Lived in Austin for many years, and would make the drive out to Fredericksburg to pick up hill country peaches a few times every season. After relocating to central Tennessee, I would sorely miss those farm fresh peaches, and am very grateful to have the peach truck here.I know 2023 was a really rough season for Georgia peaches. Picked up one box that was poor quality - lots of bruises, many were mealy and flavorless, like they'd been inappropriately stored too cold when unripe. To the truck's credit, they listened when I mentioned the quality problem, and made it right. I took the leap and ordered another box and got the usual quality I'd expect. Leave on the counter for a few days and delicious peaches that then last for a few weeks in the fridge, if any aren't eaten by then. If you have extra, I recommend peeling, pitting, and storing in the freezer for smoothies and desserts. I finally learned how to properly cut a cling peach this season, I've usually avoided them in the past because they were hard to manage. I'd suggest the truck include instructions just to be helpful. It's not intuitive, but hold the peach stem up, cut along the equator, not the seam, and give a gentle twist. Take the half with the pit, cut not on the seam but around, gentle twist and you're free of the pit.

I have been a Peach Truck customer for several years but as of now, never again. The prices have increased way beyond what can be attributed to inflation. Last year my second shipment was very disappointing in quality and flavor. I was hopeful this year would be different. I drove quite a way yesterday to pick up peaches that would be ripe and ready for serving guests over the Forth of July holiday. After circling the pickup location several times, I was able to get thru to Peach Truck customer service only to find out that the pickup at this location had been cancelled. They said I should have been notified of this but when I went back thru my email (inbox, trash and spam), there was only a confirmation and "see you tomorrow". I wasted an hour and a half of my time and I'll have to search my local markets for a substitute. There will be no more orders from me. I'll wait to enjoy Michigan peaches. It's very sad because the Peach Truck used to be a wonderful way to enjoy wonderful peaches.

I used to love the peaches. The price has gone up and the quantity has gone down. This year the quality is not good. I have had my peaches less than a week and they are shriveling up, hard and rotting. I will buy local from now on.

I picked up my peaches today. Not happy at all!!!! First the little box was 3/4 full. Looked like someone pulled out of the box. Hard as a rock and yellow. No color to them! and the price was ridiculous. $45. Well I guess I got scammed. Not the same quality as before. Also they were selling other boxes for $40.
