Southside Grill

As always? Spectacular!!!! Parking is easy, I've always thought they could work on their greeting team but once you get in and are sprinkled with the service perfection you forget about the welcome.I really just love it here, neighborhood restaurant meets (semi) formality!

My meal was AMAZING! 10/10. The service was amazing and the food was soo good. My server told me about making the shrimp blackened to give it an extra spice and now that i've had it, that's the ONLY way I want my shrimp cooked. The restaurant itself gives a very cozy feeling with the fireplace and semi dark room. I definitely will be coming back and bringing more people to try good food!

I sat outside. Nice environment and the food was decent. Service was fine as well. Nothing exceptional but a pleasant dining experience.

This is a local favorite and has been for years. The food is always good, drinks are good, specials are good, you just can't go wrong. The service is what makes this place amazing. Tonight we had Selina. She told us we were her third table on her first night and you wouldn't have know that. She was amazing. Her service was top notch. She is definitely on our list of people we will request when we go.

Food was excellent. Great variety. We went with a party of 4 with diverse tastes. One had the meatloaf special, another a chicken dish, another a fish choice and of course, a steak choice. All of us were satisfied. We also had appetizers and bread--that was great too! Nice atmosphere and the service was great. Ample parking.

Best burger in south Nashville! With hot chicken and burger joints on every corner , this place sticks out. Consistently good burgers, nightly specials with great bartenders and wait staff. We live in Nolensville and find Southside Grill to be the best food in the area. Well unless you want BBQ and banana pudding, then try Edleys!

Great neighborhood restaurant with a really good happy hour menu. Every food item in their menu I have ordered has not disappointed. The crab salad is my go to.

Had a great time here celebrating a birthday. Southside has been here a long time and for good reason. The ambience is upscale and the food matches that upscale feel.We ordered and had our food within 20 minutes or so.I got the kobe gouda truffle burger with fries. The fries were good, but nothing that will blow your mind. The burger on the other hand had about 4 slices of bacon, gouda plenty of arugula, and truffle oil. Fantastic burger and I heard the other chicken dishes at the table were really good as well. For a nice dinner or date night this place seems like a great shout. Happy hour also has some great deals on alcohol. Give them a try!

We have lived about 4 miles from Southside Grill for close to 20 years, and only recently (2021) decided to try it. We love it!We've never had a bad meal here: ever. The food is consistently fresh and prepared to perfection. We've even brought friends and family here, and other posh restaurants in Franklin, and they've all preferred Southside.A few items to consider on the menu:Calamari: the best I've had outside of New EnglandBeef Bruschetta: we get it every timeTortellini: a favorite of mineChicken: bistro/brasserie or pistachio: always greatFish: they've recently added redfish (drum) and it's delicious, but lately it's been outshined by the blackened mahi-mahi, which is outstanding.Come on a Sunday night, and it's half-price wine.

I have usually had a good experience at Southside Grill but tonight I wasn't impressed by this restaurant. I had the red fish with linguini and I thought it was very oily. I wouldn't have that dish again. The service was slow at first but the manager tried to fix the delay by helping the waiter. The restaurant is noisy. Hope we just caught it on an "off night".
