Market City BBQ

Blah! Moved to Nashville three years ago. I have yet to find great BBQ and this place is yet another disappointment. I was tricked by the smoke smell coming from the building. Gave it a try and it was so bland! The brisket had no flavor and the "bbq" beans were NOT in anything related to bbq sauce. Why oh why can't Nashville get bbq right?

I'm gonna go 4 stars... food vs. Price vs. portion gave it an extra star, but size portion on sides lost a star. Skip the beans they are from a can. The staff member said the Mac n Cheese was the best in 6 blocks, well maybe 3 blocks, decent flavor but it was made at least a day earlier and could use a little zest of heat or flavor. Get the pulled pork VERY GOOD especially with the sweet sauce. Ribs had nice bark but they should have the cartlige removed, unless you like it, which l don't. Would l eat here again... YES. Skip the beans though and try something else.

Very good food. Great portions and priced well for BBQ. brisket mashed potato bowl was very good.
