Updated review: I was blown away by the food and hospitality here. I ordered a half slab of ribs with fries and grits casserole on the side and was totally in heaven. The grits casserole was so cheesy and packed with flavor, and the ribs were fall off the bone. The real star was the bbq nachos, which were served on thick crispy potato chips with pulled pork, sauces, and tomatoes. It's a lot of food for the price too!The waitress who brought us our food asked if it was our first time here, and since it was my boyfriend's first time, she brought us a cup of each bbq sauce to try (jalapeño ranch and a white bbq sauce) and a scoop of banana pudding on the house--which was also fantastic. This is going to be our go to spot for bbq from now on.

The food was pretty good here. I had the wing platter with Mac and cheese and red potato salad. My issue is I asked the employee if the potato salad had bacon in it. He told me no. I was very concerned because I thought I read online that there was bacon in the menu. Still I was reassured by two people that there was no pork in the potato salad. I went back to the menu online and it turns out there is bacon in the potato salad. I am grateful I did not try it. The Mac and cheese was tasty. I prefer my Mac and cheese baked but this was seasoned well. The bathroom was nasty. I mean one step up from gas station nasty. The food was good. The French fries were excellent. We sat outside which was nice minus the flies.

I really like their turkey, but it is out of stock often when I visit. I don't eat pork or beef, and the chicken is just okay. It's very frustrating to visit a restaurant and only be able to order the food you like about 50% of the time. I think that every time I have visited they have been out of at least one item on the menu...sometimes they are out of multiple items. It's so inconsistent and disappointing. It happens at the location in Franklin too. I rarely have this problem at any other restaurant I go to, so the lack of preparation makes no sense to me as a customer. I tried to eat there at 2 different locations this weekend, and both locations were out of the food I wanted. I'm at the point where I just won't come back.

Best patio and amazing food. Love the wait staff too. Hot chicken tacos are the best.

Best BBQ around! Love the options available here that you don't find anywhere else, like the grits casserole and bean salad!

First time in Nashville and was near Edley's so I thought I'd give it a shot. I sat at the bar and was well taken care of. After hearing of specials from the bartender I opted for fried ribs with hot BBQ sauce. Now first impression... it's not pretty lol just looks like the ribs were burnt (I do like charring though) However, that first bite... the meat fell off the bone and was so moist and tender on the inside. The flavor just squeezed right out into my tongue and I knew I was wrong for judging its exterior looks! The Mac and cheese I got on the side was also delicious. Just the right amount of cheesy!As far as the interior:I like the set up.. pretty standard restaurant/sports bar with lots of TVs. Didn't seem like it was too loud which was a nice surprise given how many people were in the establishment. Overall a great experience!

Great local joint. Solid BBQ. My family loves their burgers. I love the burnt ends. Wings are good with white bbq sauce. And the BBQ pork fries!

We love Edley's - the only thing I don't like is the weird name - kind of like the kid in school everybody made fun of. But, whatever, the food is AWESOME. I didn't think any BBQ place could top Martin's BBQ, but Edley's has managed to do it. If you haven't tried it, highly recommend you give them a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed, but ;that's just me. Also, everybody at my party' was blown away. By the way, our family are BBQ connoisseurs, if there is such a thing, Hailing from KY, which (we believe) is the home of the best BBQ (we now have Starne's BBQ sauce shipped to Nashville, as it is the mother's milk of BBQ sauces). HIGHLY recommended.

Best brisket I've ever had! So tender and the rub was perfect, not real peppery and a little sweet. I also really liked the corn bread and slaw. The greens were a little salty for me. Would love to go back and try more!
