Chuy's

The food wasn't bad, just very average. You could find much better (and more authentic) Mexican food elsewhere. The restaurant has strong millennial vibes, and I mean that in a bad way. The service was a little slow, but not too bad. This place might be a good restaurant for someone who doesn't really like Mexican food.

I visited Chuy's located on White Bridge Pike in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday, 3/3/24, around 3:30 PM for lunch. For the appetizer, I decided to order a bowl of Tortilla soup. The soup was decent. For the entree, I got the Shrimp & Crab Enchiladas. The enchiladas were extremely flavorful, especially with the lobster cream sauce. I enjoyed the entire plate from start to finish. The portion of the meal was generous. The complimentary chips & salsa were very tasty. What stood out to me was the great service. Joshua was my server and he was a joy. His friendliness, attentiveness, and hospitality exceeded expectations. I also liked the welcoming atmosphere. The decorations and pictures throughout the entire restaurant were awesome. Overall, Chuy's is a wonderful restaurant that offers delicious Tex-Mex food. I recommend coming here.

This is your typical Tex mex chain restaurant similar to On the Border. It's good for what it is. The restaurant was clean and had cute decor. Our waitress was super nice and the food came out quickly. Would definitely come back for a quick dinner.

I love CHUY'S and try to eat it at least 3 times a week. I am the biggest fan and love eating Chuy's! I have a complicated order, and sadly no one ever gets it right. Tonight, my husband and I stopped at a newer Chuy's location for the first time, on White Bridge Road, and we had AMBER as our server. I ordered my usual complicated order, and FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OVER A YEAR, it WAS RIGHT! She got everything right, down to the garnish. I was so impressed. That was a first. It was so nice to be able to eat my meal, with my husband for once, instead of sending it back to have it remade, only for it to return to the table when everyone is done, and I have to box it up and eat it later. White Brige Road location couldn't be farther from my farm in Lebanon, TN but it's going to be worth the drive since AMBER got my order right. THANK YOU AMBER for doing a great job and being our server tonight! And the crowd chants: AMBER! AMBER! AMBER! AMBER! AMBER! AMBER! AMBER! AMBER! AMBER! AMBER! AMBER! AMBER!

We came in during happy hour for a late lunch. The place was fairly slow since it was about 3 or 3:30 in the afternoon. The service was good. The waitress was friendly and made the experience enjoyable; however, and here's where the lower rating comes from, the food was bland and dry. The queso dip appetizer was good however. I had the fajita chicken burrito. I think we caught them on a bad day, or at least I hope that's the case. We'll have to try again to confirm.

I feel like I've always ended up at Chuy's by default and usually enjoy the meal okay but it's never worth raving about TBH. At this point, I've been to all Nashville locations, this location being the last and most recent (and I just realized how new this location is!). It has the easiest parking and access of the bunch just given its location adjacent to a strip mall and removed from downtown or the behemoth that is Opry Mills. This was probably the best meal I've ever had at a Chuy's as well. I think it's quite possible they've gotten better over time as in my memories of their food it's always too salty and a touch underwhelming. Everything was seasoned fantastically here though. The chips were light and airy, fresh and not too salty. The free salsa is chunky and packs a touch of heat, the jalapeno ranch dip is (far from "authentic") tasty to the max. I had the "Chuychanga" and it was the crispiest chimichanga shell I've ever tasted, buttery and flaky to boot. The chicken was just a smidge dry (and made me wish I'd explored whether subbing pork was an option) but flavorful and kicked up quite a bit by the mix-ins, cheeses and sauce. The red sauce on top and underneath---medium heat, one of the best enchilada style sauces I've had in a restaurant in some time. My wife had the cheese enchilads and enjoyed them, particularly the added red sauce. The beans here are above average as well as is the rice. The real standout of our meal? The tres leches cake. Big enough to share, gooey caramel, really one of the best versions of that dessert I've had anywhere, ever.Our server was super friendly, going out of his way to check in with us and bring us anything we needed. Prices were fair and service was quick and efficient. We dined on the early side, around 5 pm on a weeknight but by the time we left there was a line and a long wait list so get here early or be prepared to wait.All in all, if you're looking for the best Mexican or Tex-Mex in the city or want a varied, comprehensive menu--Chuy's isn't the place. But if you want a decent happy hour, some comfort food, and a few major standouts (looking at you, Tres Leches) all at a decent price in a clean and friendly atmosphere, this fits the bill.Standouts: medium heat red sauce for your burritto, enchilada or chimichanga; jalapeno ranch for your fresh chips; tres leches cake

I'm pumped to have a Chuy's on this side of town now, and after our first experience with this location I know we'll be dining here frequently. We actually ordered delivery via UberEats, and I was impressed with their to-go service and packaging of food items. We ordered the Chuychanga with rice and beans and a side of their creamy jalapeño sauce (to use with our chips that were included). The entree came in an aluminum tray that separated all three items, and it was super simple to pop in the oven to reheat. We also ordered a bowl of the chicken tortilla soup which was delicious! It was a great portion and the tortilla strips came separate to keep them from getting soggy, which was a great touch. Can't wait to stop by or order delivery from Chuy's again!

Atmosphere was welcoming. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic up until I found a hair on my plate underneath one of the tortilla chips. The staff reaction was more or less "meh"....probably won't come back

Our youth group just ate here - almost 20 people on short notice. Our server, Romeo, was FANTASTIC - very gracious, efficient, and patient. The hostess was also amazing but I didn't catch her name. Go see these folks, y'all!!!

The food was very good and seasoned well. Chips and salsa and queso were great. They give plenty of chips!!!! The pick up was quick!!!
