"As the owner of Splashes of Time Photography (splashesoftime.com) I must say I love the Leeric Lodge! The venue is beautiful and their team is very professional. I love this place!"
"Beautiful Event Venue!I have a chef crush on the owner Jason McConnell. He has three restaurants in addition to this event house and everything he cooks is fantastically delicious. Tonight the McConnell House hosted Food Truck Fight night. I'm a sucker for gourmet food coming out of a truck. There were several food trucks parked behind the house. The plan was to look at all the truck's menus and then choose carefully. It can be so difficult to choose just one so you may have to try food from several. Each truck has a number that you can text to vote for them. Just in case great food isn't enough for a great time there is also a dj playing party music. The only thing missing was our camping chairs. Since I discovered this event occurs every third Thursday of the month we will return with our chairs next month and plan to stay longer."
"I flipped a coin to decide whether or not to leave a review, but ultimately decided to share my experience. In my opinion, people are only as good as their word, and unfortunately, this golf course didn't live up to their promise.I called two days in advance to reserve a tee time and was told that I was all set. Excited to hit the course, I arrived 45 minutes early, only to be told that they were full and couldn't accommodate me. It was clear that they overbook their tee times to ensure that they're always at maximum capacity, regardless of their customers' reservations and plans. It's disappointing to see a business prioritize profits over customer satisfaction, but that seems to be the case here. I wouldn't recommend this golf course to anyone who values reliability and honesty in their service providers. Save yourself the frustration and find a more reputable establishment to tee off at."
"I took my two grandsons, ages 3&6; they both enjoyed themselves with the large trampoline area. There is also an area for small children to climb and play.Plenty of space for parents and family to sit and watch the children play. They have a lot of arcade games and a snack bar."
"Rooftop bar hopping is always fun with family and friends. The proof is located inside the W Nashville Hotel on the 13th floor. We were immediately carded exiting the elevator, so 21 and up. The ambiance was quiet and comfortable--lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered drinks, but unfortunately, they were not good. I love the decor and wall art. We had a lovely time, and the weather was perfect for a Saturday summer night. No DJ, but did I mention the gorgeous view?"
"Great spot! I love how they had a wine tasting as soon as I walked in, I got to samples one white and one red. It was pretty quiet when I came in, which is fine by me! I loved their menu and now they give wine pairing suggestions with the foods. The bartender was super nice! I went with the Zinfandel with the duck tacos. The tacos were okay - a little dry to me, but I added some sauce and that did the trick! The Zinfandel was okay, little jammy for my liking! I switched to the Riesling and that worked better for me. Nice ambiance - a lot of people were there because it's connected to a convention center - looks like they get some amazing acts! I had a very pleasant dinner!"
"On a free day in Tennessee, my wife and I were looking for something relaxing. What could be better than finding a winery? Thanks to Yelp, we found the Arrington Vineyards less than a half hour from Franklin. On a Wednesday afternoon, the place was pretty quiet. We ordered a tasting flight and searched for a shady spot. Lucky for us there's a tasting room with an outside deck. It was a nice, quiet spot where we could enjoy the wine and chill. Before we left, we stopped back to get a souvenir t shirt and frozen wine drinks. Mine was a peach "froze" and my wife's was a seasonal rose. Great on a hot day!I can picture this place being crowded on weekends with live music. A fun spot!"
"Been there 3 times on Friday and Saturdays Don't wast your time there's a high cover charge you got go through two sets of doors so you can't see what kind of crowd is in side the first set they done got your money Then the second set you realize you wasted your money mostly rap music and it's supposed to be a country bar and possibly just a hand full of people there and mostly 18 to 24 year olds They say Thursday nights the best it's College night for 30 years and older it sucks unless your looking rob the Cradle"
"I know people love live music and this is the Nashville suburbs where even the *McDonald's* has a stage! So when the band arrived on this Saturday afternoon and started setting up, I wasn't surprised. But it did mean that after I finished the current beer, it was time to pack up and move along. Family-friendly place with lots of kids literally running about. Great beers. A food truck INSIDE the warehouse. And the wifi worked really well. I had a nice time.[Review 1221 of 2024 - 536 in Tennessee - 22244 overall]"
"We were hoping to get our 'shine on at the Short Mountain Distillery but alas due to a couple of wrong turns up the mountain (who is stealing all the street signs?) we were too late. Luckily, the Stillhouse was open for drinks/food (the final distillery tour of the day is at 3 pm and the Stillhouse stays open until 6 pm) so we decided to get our food on instead. The Stillhouse Venue is situated on the same scenic property as the Short Mountain Distillery, and the view does not disappoint.Their menu is small with several starters and burgers. They do have a few entrees and sides and even a couple of desserts. My boyfriend and I both ordered burgers, which come with fries. I got the Blacken & Blue Cheese Burger ($12) and he got the Spicy Jalapeno Jack Cheese Burger ($12). The burgers are pretty large so I cut mine in half and had to get a box for the other half. We both enjoyed what we ordered and I would easily order the same thing again. Their drink menu has a list of signature cocktails which feature the moonshine and bourbon from the distillery (we got our 'shine fix after all!) I got the Palmer ($7) which is their Prohibition Tea mixed with lemonade over ice. Although simple, it was delicious. The boyfriend got the Apple Ginger ($7) which is the Apple Pie Shine mixed with ginger ale and vanilla. I had a sip of his which tasted a bit stronger than mine but still good. After a bit of a buzz from the aforementioned shine cocktails we went outside and played a round of cornhole outside. There are picnic tables and the property is quite large so I would absolutely come back on a nice day just to enjoy the landscape of the beautiful green hills and clear sky.Although the food/cocktails are good the scenery is the best thing about this place. We enjoyed our afternoon here and are hoping to catch a distillery tour at some point! Note: The management treats the Stillhouse Venue distinct from the Distillery. I had an expired Groupon which states that the $25 paid is good towards the business so I was hoping I could just use this towards our dinner bill, but they wouldn't accept it. Also, if you check-in to the distillery you get a 10% off but again this only towards a tour not towards the venue."
"Our first stop on our South Central TN Wine Trail tour was the highlight of the day. Every single wine was delicious! As someone who has been to countless wineries in Sonoma and Napa, I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew the wineries in TN would be smaller productions, but what did they look like? What would the wines taste like? As the first one we visited, Amber Falls set the bar very high, and frankly, none of the other wineries lived up to it.Here are the tasting notes I jotted down.Blanc du Bois.. pleasant, grapefruitChardonel.. very light, nice (this was a favorite of the day!)Blanc du Bois (off dry).. this one was sweeterZinthiana.. honey! I loves this oneRaspberry Romance.. paired with gourmet chocolate, this was better than desertPeach Persuasion.. amazing, tastes just like a peachI also like how they give back to their community. 15% of every bottle sold of their Patriot red wine goes to the Family Readiness chairty. Our server, Damion, is excellent at his job. Very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. When we walked into the tasting room, he said we had to see the Christmas village they set up. He explained to us they change the display every year and it takes weeks to set it up and two weeks to take it down. For the tasting, Damion asked us what kind of wine we liked and we started from there. He showed us each wine label before he poured it. Listened to our feedback, and then decided what to pour for us next based on what we thought. I can't wait to go back!"

Now that my ears have stopped ringing I'd like to get down to writing a review of this really great venue and the pre-Valentine event we attended. This well-preserved historic setting is a "gracious host" for such special events. Yet I must say at the outset that an otherwise beautiful evening of skillfully prepared food paired with exceptionally fine wines was tarnished somewhat by the actual venue itself. The stark, undecorated bare brick walls served to act as reverberating amplifiers of the happy, albeit slightly raucous crowd of 64 diners. For me, the din of diners' conversations, punctuated by squeals and cackles of laughter simply stifled any polite conversation save for that with the dinner guest on my immediate right. (I was at the end of a table so there was no one on my immediate left.) And to converse with the normally delightful friend seated across from me, I had to either lean well into the middle of the table or shout, neither option conducive to pleasant communication. The noise was simply, bluntly, brutally unpleasant. But enough of the negative. Awful acoustics aside, dinner was absolutely delightful, de-lovely, delicious. We were invited to sip a bit and mingle a while for an hour before dinner was served. During that time we enjoyed a light, barely effervescent Sofia Sparkling Blanc de Blanc while deftly nibbling on dutifully delicate Honey Lavender Goat Cheese Tartlets topped with Paddlefish Caviar. The caviar added just a hint of flavor and texture to the mini slightly tart tartlets.First Course: Herb Crusted Sea Scallops, fork-tender but slightly over-blackened for my tastes. The accompanying Cauliflower Puree was über creamy and smooth, while the Toasted Pine Nuts, Currants, and Chile Oil provided lovely counterpoints in texture and taste. Noticeably absent was the "Shitake Bacon", but although I searched for it via my palate, it was nowhere to be found on this plate. The accompanying Sofia Chardonnay was (just as the Coppola vintners describe it) delicate, light, only slightly acidic (I personally didn't pick up on this) and a perfect accompaniment.Second Course: Seared Corvina on a bed of lovely, nutty, rust-colored Bhutanese Red Rice. The fish had a crisp sear but, depending on how thick your portion was, the fish came across as cooked too dry to slightly moist. (My dinner guests compared and contrasted their portions of this mild-flavored fish, the moist portions being the better.) Coconut Milk, citrusy-acidic Lime, pungent Ginger, and Cilantro combined to give this dish a nice finish. The paired Director's Cut Savignon Blanc was fine for this course.Third Course: Braised Beef Short Ribs and Morel Mushroom Sauce plus Apple and Fennel Salad proved the least favorite of the night. The beef was wonderfully tender and smoky, but didn't pack the punch the aroma suggested. The Morels - one of my all time favorite fungi - were slightly salty and could have been the main part of this course for my tastes. The crisp fennel and thinly sliced apple salad went well with a rather mysterious Lost Colony Red Blend. Again, this didn't have the body I would suggest for this heavy a course.Fourth Course: Vanilla Mascarpone Cream (yum-yum-yummy) and Almond Granola Tuile (slightly inconsistent because it was more mushy than crisp, perhaps since I was the last person served out of the 64) came with a "meh" Spiced Wine Poached Pear. Least favorite of the courses tonight, this was paired with a rare - usually served only at the winery - Late Harvest Semillion. If you get a chance to attend one of these dinners...grab it! It might not be perfect, but it made for a near perfect Valentine Dinner for us. (Just glad my taste buds aren't connected to my taste buds and thus not adversely affected by the cacophony.)

Came here for GNO and to check out Proof's HH. The rooftop is really nice with a good view. We had the best bartender. He was really nice and had the best personality, I wish I remembered his name.I ordered a gimlet which was delicious. I read mixed reviews on the food, but our food was really good. I ordered the wings , not spicy but very flavorful, and I ordered the truffle fries. My friend wanted a dessert, they didn't have dessert, but when the restaurant downstairs opened, he allowed her to order from that menu which was really nice of him.I will definitely be back!Parking: park in parking lot across from hotel, a lot more inexpensive than valet. I was told they don't validate at Proof.

Went there for the ABBA Fabulous Brunch and it was...FABULOUS! The staff was great and their system to seat everyone is fantastic! We reserved a table in the second row and it was great. Very close to the stage! Neon Queen was fun and mixed in some fun songs with the ABBA songs.Brunch had lots of options and was pretty good. I will say it was a 2-3 star for the wine bottle we selected. It was one of the City Winery Pinot Noir and it was meh! Despite the wine, the venue is great to watch a show and it was a lot of fun! Wish I remembered our servers name because she was a Rockstar!

Loved this spot. It's definitely a destination and a must go when in the area. We bought a bottle of bubbly, sat on the porch and enjoyed the beautiful view. Definitely worth the trip and will return when I'm back in town.

"Really pretty trendy spot for great aerial views of downtown Nashville and surrounding areas. Coming from NYC, these prices for their drinks seemed reasonable to me lol Loved their hot chicken too! Service was really friendly and the views could not be beat! A little out of the ways from the tourist hub of Nashville but still worth the uber trip over! Looking guard to our next visit!"
"Hartley and his team are the classiest act anywhere. First, the selection is unrivaled in Middle Tennessee. Second, their prices are at virtually direct grower discounts. Most importantly, the service and care they give to their customers goes way beyond the normal expectations. When you call, visit or work with them, they truly make you feel like a dear family member. This is the kind of business we need to survive and THRIVE in our area. Extra bonus: There's a great playground for the kiddos!"
"My husband and I got married at Terian Farms on September 6, 2016. Teri and her staff made that day exactly what we dreamed - gorgeous and fun for everyone! It was an incredible evening and several of our friends and family are still talking about how it was the best wedding they've ever attended which is exactly what every bride wants to hear! Most of that was due to Teri and her staff. The day didn't go as planned... about 2 hours before the ceremony, it started pouring rain even though the forecast called for 0% chance of rain. Teri took care of getting everything back inside and wiped off. Luckily the rain stopped and they had time to reset everything before the ceremony! Teri also handled all the details of our wedding. She arranged the decor, catering, DJ, bartenders and the amazingly delicious cake. She even did the flowers after I called her a month ahead of the date and told her that I couldn't decide and didn't have time to handle it (I thought I wanted to but I ran out of time!) She did all of this in 4 months. Oh, and did I mention how stunning my photos are? The grounds and horses are all immaculate and make spectacular backgrounds for your wedding photos. I cannot recommend Terian Farms enough if you want a fun, memorable, beautiful, outdoor Nashville wedding!"
"Beautiful place for your event. Good access. Local business. Lovely great location"
"Didn't quite know what to expect here but we were so pleasantly surprised!! Some of the best drinks of our entire trip were here. Friendly service and unique atmosphere. I would come back in a heartbeat and can't wait to have another hibiscus skinny margarita! There's something for everyone!"
"Wow! Finally open and I can understand it took some time to finish this beautiful building. This was definitely worth waiting for!The rooftop is perfect, both inside and outside seating opportunities. There are so many floors to explore and the live venue is super cute, like a mini Rayman. We sat down and watched Eric Church videos for a bit, can't wait to see some live shows here. ( Tip, go online and become a member!)I love how fun it's decorated and all the details The bbq is delicious and has all the fixings you can wish for. This is for sure going to be my favorite hang out spot this summer."
"Super cute building that used to be a stove factory and has been re-purposed into trendy boutiques and eateries! The Factory at Franklin is the perfect place to visit whether it's a daytime shopping trip or a trendy spot to hang out at during the evening! They have plenty to offer food wise from ice cream shops and bakeries to hip bars and a ramen restaurant. There's also a Hattie B's location outside of the building that I highly recommend. The shops are all super unique also. We visited quite a few that had cute home decor for the holidays, will be sure to stop by again for the different seasons. The cheese shop and made in TN stores were also nice! I love that each store is different than the next and not some typical corporate owned store that you can find in any mall. Will definitely be back to try some of the different food offerings they have as well as more shopping!"
"Came here on a Saturday for the first time to check it out. We were instantly greeted by the husband and wife owners. The atmosphere is cozy. They offer flights of 4 samples for $5 each. They have some flights to choose from or you can customize your own. The owners were happy to speak about the wine. They sell bottles and by the glass as well as bottles to go. The oyster crackers were a lovely touch. The owner also brought over water to the table. They have a small shop with some snacks and cheese and meats and wine paraphernalia. The wine was good. Low ABV. We liked the raspberry merlot and peach Chardonnay the best. They have a wall of fame with photos of visitors. They allow dogs inside! Also family friendly. We will definitely come back!"
"I love this little place, it has such fun and friendly staff! I just tried their food for the first time and was blown away. If you need a quick good bite on Broadway this is the place to go. They usually have live music on the first floor, and the place is small enough that you get that really "local pub feeling". They have a roof top as well and it has both sun and shade, so pick your poison!"
"A nice surprise! We had a little time to kill before check in time at our Airbnb. And I had come prepared with local (generally speaking, as nothing is very close by to anything else in this area) brewery and winery options to possibly check out. Highland Manor was the closest and simplest to get to, so that is how we decided on this one. Turns out, the winery shares the property with one of the breweries that I had bookmarked! We were the only ones there when we walked in, and had a great time doing a full tasting with the friendly employee. I think you get 3 samples for free, but more than that costs a little and you can try everything as well as get a small glass to keep. The offerings were ok. Good enough that a we got a few bottles to either bring home or to enjoy on our cabin weekend. They also had frozen wine offerings, and we got to include trying the beer and cider they had on tap as well. We also got a growler of one of their ciders to bring to the cabin for the weekend. The visit was lovely, mostly thanks to the friendly wine steward. Definitely recommend a stop in, if you are in the broadly general area."
"I really liked this place. Of course it is touristy, but they had fantastic food and even more fun beverages. They serve drinks out of a cowboy hat!!! Bar staff were fabulous and they food was tasty. The meat eaters in the group said the chicken sandwich was the best they had in Nashville. I liked that they had plenty of vegetarian options. Easy to access and they are great for groups because they offer reservations!"
"Great place for big events! We purchased a groupon to tour this new vineyard. The property is beautiful. There is a stage and a large building for concerts or large events such as the weddings they host. The friendly owner, Jim, took us on a tour of the vineyard and explained the grape growing process. When all of our grape growing questions had been answered he turned us over to the winemaker who gave us a tour of the tank room. During the tank room portion of our adventure the winemaker explained the wine making process. Our adventure had a perfect ending in the tasting room. All three of their current wines were good. They had Merlot, a blush wine, and a Riesling and we bought one of each. After the tour we opened the merlot and took our box lunch out to the patio for a picnic. It was a beautiful day."
"Nice winery an hour outside of Nashville. Nice rural setting with plenty of outdoor seats to enjoy their wine. (The place tends to have a wider selection of sweeter wines, but I enjoyed the dry Three-Eighty-Two red.) The shop also offers some cheese and crackers, so we made a small lunch in the Grinder's Switch gazebo."
"This is maybe the least-touristy brewery I went to in Nashville? You wouldn't think it by the location, but this place has a real locals vibe. Almost like a dive bar, and I mean that only in all the positives of that term: a place were old friends and consistent regulars meet to drink beer.As far as styles of beer, it seems like this place does a little bit of everything!I got a flight of multiple pale-yellow-hoppy beers, and all were solid.Staff was also very friendly. Luckily this is one of the breweries in this town that encourages sampling and the ordering of flights.Definitely get out of the downtown madness and give these folks a shot!"
"On a weekend visit to the lake at Center hill we stumbled upon this quaint tap room at Bert Drivers Nursery . Upon entering we could tell it was a cool place . The owner Bert Driver was very friendly and welcoming . He allowed us to sample the beers fromCalfkiller Brewing and Theoretic Ales . Bert was knowledgable about the beers and a very enjoyable person . There were 4 of us so there were several opinions of the beers . The guys liked all of the beers one of the favorites was the CalfKiller Ole-Evil-AssDevil Ale,Another one well liked was Theoretical Goat Love . There weren't any that we didn't like just some better than others .... Bert was very accommodating and allowed us to enjoy our picnic lunch on his outside porch . Recommend this place if your in the Smithville area . We will for sure be back ."
"We've been fans of TBW since moving to Nashville, but didn't get a chance to make it into the actual brewery until recently! I'm not sure why we waited so long, but I can guarantee you that we won't make that same mistake twice. On our way home from an after-hours event at Adventure Science Center, we saw some Tennessee Brew Works signs and decided to stop in. There's plenty of street parking available - and when you step inside, you're hit with a welcoming, local vibe that's reminiscent of any true Nashville staple. We walked up to the bar, and were greeted immediately by Jimmy. He let us know that they had just tapped the Oktoberfest keg that morning, and that he highly recommended trying it if we were in the mood for something fun. Jimmy also let us know that we could sit anywhere - inside or outside - and that they'd come and take our order there instead of us having to wait at the bar.Despite being busy with bachelorettes (this seems to be a popular stop for party buses), we had wonderful service on the patio throughout our visit. We didn't order any food this time around, but noted that they have a full kitchen. I decided on a flight, which comes with your choice of five of their drafts. My favorite was the Oktoberfest - and my husband and I agreed that it was extra crisp (again, probably because they had just tapped it!) The Tennessaké was also a fun, lighter beer -- perfect for sipping on a hot day. Their draft list is diverse enough that everyone from devout beer drinkers to those just dipping their toe into craft beer will find something they like. They even have a few cocktails and wine offerings. As with many local breweries, TBW does close at 10, but that's still plenty of time to enjoy this Music City favorite. I can't wait to return soon!"
"Lots of good things - beautiful views and pretty venue. The covered and enclosed barn was nice, the patio was fun. Good sized bathrooms and a nice reception hall. The parking was terrible, definitely cramped. The barn also was a bit echo-y and hot when the dancing started."
"The Pontoon Saloon is a fun place and way to celebrate your birthday or bachelorette celebrations. Our bride found it on the Bach App. I highly recommend that you book the tour early for any public cruise to avoid it selling out or any confusion, but you can also book directly through them online. The online fee included entry & an onboard cooler with ice. You could bring your own beverages on the ship to enjoy during the 2 hour experience. The staff was friendly and fun and hosted games for us to make the cruise fun. They played a variety of music based on the crowd and encouraged tips for drinks & song requests. The host reminded me of a comedian but ensured we were having a good time and highlighted all birthdays, brides, and anniversaries. It was a vibe! The only hiccup was finding the place. It was not easy to find after being dropped off by the uber. The easiest path area was blocked due to preparation for July 4. We had to walk up stairs and across the bridge to a greenish elevator and take it down to the lower level and walk around the buildings (where the restrooms were) to get to the correct area where the boat was located. The instructions say arrive about 20 minutes early & I recommend that you arrive 20-35 minutes early, especially if you are directionally challenged or a slower walker. Overall, we enjoyed the experience."
