"Came by for dinner on a Sunday with a party of 7 & no reservation - they were able to get us a table for 4, and split our party so the others ate at a standing table. It was OK. I'm glad they squeezed us in but PSA if you have a large party I would definitely recommend a reservation.Food was really good! Tried two tacos (you pay per taco) & the chips and quac. Everything was full of flavor and I was really happy with all the food. Service was good & bathroom was clean. There's paid parking lots nearby - no street parking."

"Do you like to get drunk? Do you like to wear cut-off denim shorts? Do you like to say "woo hoo"? Then you will love Ole Smoky! I like 33.33 percent of those things, but even so, I had a great time at this moonshine distillery. If you're doing a moonshine tasting, then this is how it goes. You step up to the big bar when it's your designated time, and you will be served several small shots of different moonshine. I believe my total was seven different tastes of moonshine, which seems like a lot, but the pours are thimble-sized. The bartenders tell you about each moonshine they pour, so you get to learn about the different flavors.As a palate cleanser between each shot, they offer you a complimentary beer (one of Yee-Haw Brewing Company's signature beers) or hard seltzer. I picked the Cerveza, a Mexican lager, because it was one of the lower ABV choices. Between this and the petite tastes of moonshine, I walked away definitely feeling a nice buzz, but not anywhere near "woo-hoo" territory. My favorite tastes were the banana pudding cream moonshine (it tasted like boozy banana cream pudding), and the moonshine pineapples: literally moonshine-soaked pineapple chunks, which are offered at the end. They are a well-oiled machine here. My party stepped up to the bar at the time we were supposed to, then the bartenders poured our booze, lickety-split, in an almost choreographed frenzy. Then we were on our way, and the next group took our place. There were a lot of people here, but the service is efficient. I had a great time tasting moonshine."

Nectar Urban Cantina is our go-to spot, not just for their mouthwatering dishes, but also for their excellent service. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, complete with a ramp for those who require it. Plus, you can even bring your furry friends along. They allow dogs outside. I cannot tell you how much my team raves about their food and wants it again and again!Haven't eaten in the restaurant itself so I can't speak to that, but the food is good. Taco bar with chicken and brisket is the current favorite, and the chipotle salsa disappears before I even put it out. Lots of different topping choices to add to the taco bar and their guacamole is one of the best I've had recently. I'll continue to order from them as long as my team continues asking for it... and I don't see that changing anytime soon!"

We sat on the patio with them and ordered quickly before the kitchen closed. I love a good birria taco so I got one of those and queso. My bf got carne asada and chicken tacos. I was not sold on the birria taco. The queso was good and chips were perfect. Love a good thin and crispy chip. His tacos were good; I ended up taking a bite of his. Started with some Dirty Queso, it was good, kind of filling. My buddy ordered the Swole Bowl, he liked it although he said it was a bit creamy. I had the Blue Dream, and it was ! I definitely recommend the kewl ranch taco shell. I also added a Lucy's Fire taco. This taco was flavorful but had a bit too much going on for my liking. I will definitely be back to try a few more items."

I went with their California burrito, which perfectly blended steak, French fries, and various other ingredients to make a fantastic lunch.The place has a rather straightforward ambiance and the ordering process is that you order at the counter and they call out your number.They have a nice salsa bar with varying heat levels of salsa. I went with their extra hot and their guacamole.All in all, I would definitely recommend West Coast Taco Shop for a meal. I am a huge fan of California burritos (where they put French fries in the burrito) and sadly, a lot of places don't offer this particular style of burrito. West Coast Taco Shop stands out for offering this delightful version of burrito.I would definitely recommend here and I give it five stars."

"dont be afraid to walk through this gas station to grab some tasty tacos from a truck. the prices are incredibly cheap, but the authenticicty and flavor shines throughout.menu is short & to the point. yes, there are vegetarian options. i think its cash only? they dont have tables, but theres essentially a fenced off area around the truck that you can stand up at and lead on a table to eat at. they also have salsas (hot sauce) to use for your food.i grabbed the shrimp taco which was simple, but to the point. for under $2 you cant go wrong. they let the grilled shrimp shine through because these tacos thankfully arent loaded with toppings. i also tried a chicken mulitas and i would get this again. its basically 2 corn tortilla tacos, with chicken and cheese etc, in the middle. i loved it!"

"Yum! New to Tennessee and Taco Tuesday came and I was craving some Cali-Mex but wasn't getting my hopes up, as my daughter warned me there's no good Mexican food in middle Tennessee. Wrong!!! I had carne asada, carnitas, and a fish taco with a side of rice and beans. All were yummy - I'll probably get just one or two asada next time, but I was hungry. The rice and beans were just like I was used to have in SoCal and the chips were fresh made. Hubby had the asada burrito and "it did not disappoint". He will be back next week, if not before. Prices were fair and portions were a good value. I will be back. Warning - there is a fee to use credit card - but I'm finding that's standard practice here in Tennessee."

Not very flavorful either.- 1 chorizo taco with onions but no cilantro: flavorful and tasty, this was good.- sopapillas: these were small and had honey with powdered sugar on top. Not sure if they weren't super great because they were cold, but it wasn't very fluffy. Really pricey food, tacos were $4.25 and all that was on it was two tortillas, meat, and cilantro. That's how authentic Mexican tacos are but it was overpriced."

"This Velvet Taco location is one of the latest additions to the East Nashville food scene and I am beyond pumped to have it in the neighborhood! I have been dreaming of these massive tacos and that elote for too long! This Velvet Taco is stand alone and features a good size indoor dining area and a great outdoor covered patio. Both spaces are fitted with hightops, standard tables and bar/communal style seating. Parking is limited, but is plentiful for the space. The way Velvet Taco works is the same as most fast-casual spots where you order at the counter, they prepare and then call your name or bring to your table. It is an efficient and easy process, which is great, as I want to ensure I get tacos in my belly as quick as possible! Speaking of tacos, the menu is separated by protein including chicken, veg, beef, pork and fish. They also have some great starters and sides, plus a dessert to go with your tacos if you are into that kind of thing! The tacos are hefty, so I usually go with (2) tacos plus a side of elote. This usually leaves me just the right amount of full. For the tacos, my go-to's are the Fish n' Chips and the Slow Roasted Angus Brisket. Both are absolutely phenomenal in their own way and make me so dang happy from first to last bite! While those are my number 1's, I have tried and enjoyed the Cuban Pig and Buffalo Chicken. Overall, really enjoy Velvet Taco and pumped to finally have them in the neighborhood!"

The drive up window is very convenient for her to go orders, but the dining room is clean and ample for a quick bite on the go. I love that they have breakfast burritos available all day and that's typically what I get but every now and then I go for their version of a California burrito or a shrimp burrito. They have kids meal options, which are great for my two children who love a standard bean and cheese and french fries. The red salsa is "no joke" spicy but the green one is very mild and easy to eat with just about anything on the menu."

With dinner finding me seeking an establishment, Andrea Papuseria y Taqueria in Nashville, Tennessee cried out in a primal scream and demanded that I try here.Walking in, I found the place to be a humble establishment. Really, I believe the cooking is outside at the food truck and the inside is just for seating. A business practice that I have seen elsewhere. It maked sense if you already have the food truck as you don't have to pay for a commercial kitchen to be installed. I opted for two papusas and two tacos, one with asada, the other with chorizo. They were delivered in a timely fashion and by a friendly server. They were very golod and the orice points were unbelievable. This whole feast came up with a total price of $8.50.I must say that the best food will be discovered in these hole in the wall restaurants. Not to discredit fine dining, but when you need to find something to not only give you dustenence, but to feed your soul, you will find that food only in places like this.Seek this place out if you are on the east side of Nashville."

What's nice is that similar to some taco stands, they give a lot of fixings like jalapeño pepper, grilled green onions, and radish, along with lime, onion, and cilantro, as well as avocado sauce. Tacos themselves are just average with an acceptable amount of meat, decently priced at $1.75 per taco. The issue I had was that the tortillas were soggy, so oil from the al pastor taco seeps through the entire dish."

Both of our recent visits were on Sunday afternoons, and I would be remiss if I didn't shout out the incredible customer service! The folks working here are genuinely excited that you're there - they greet you when you walk in the door, take your order quickly and kindly (no matter how busy they are), and then wish you well when you're leaving. This is truly some of the best service I've had in Nashville at a grab-and-go restaurant.If you're in the mood for a hot sandwich, I recommend the Chopped Cheese. This is 51st Deli's take on a classic, and they do so memorably. If you've never had a Chopped Cheese before, it's basically a burger in sandwich form without a true patty. That might sound strange, but trust me when I say it's incredible!On our second visit, I decided to try the Turkey Avocado sandwich, which is packed full of flavor and texture. Churros were so good but need caramel in a separate cup to make it easier to dip. The establishment offers both a bar and table dining options, as well as takeout. "Came by since I didn't get a chance to try it when there was a Yelp event, but it's been on my radar ever since! It's the corner building of a little strip mall that's in progress, and they have parking out back, free for customers. The menu here is really....unusual. There's coffee & breakfast tacos, but also margaritas and bbq style tacos and salads. So, quite a mix. They close at 4pm, too, so more like coffee shop hours. Despite the identity crisis, inside was really clean and the food was really good! I got the #8 Taco; a lunch taco with brisket, avocado, and pico de gallo. This was outrageously good and had plenty of food! I don't normally love brisket, but I liked that it didn't have cheese and just wanted to try one. It came in a flour tortilla and it was good with any of the three salsas they have available. I really liked the jalapeño sauce, which was actually dairy-free, too. I also got the City Slicker Salad with no cheese. It was all pretty good, but it's kind of a take-out joint and they don't chop the salad! Why? It's so much easier in the kitchen with a giant counter versus in a full bowl with a plastic knife."
