Ashley S. "I love this place. I've been to the Charleston and Savannah locations, so naturally I had to come here as well. We came to brunch before driving back home and it did not disappoint. We ordered the biscuits and gravy and the hummingbird cake from the first courses. These were probably the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The hummingbird cake was better as a dessert and was delicious. I ordered their breakfast plate and I was blown away. How they transform scrambled eggs and had browns is mind blowing. The flavor explosions were amazing. My husband got the Johnny cakes and they were amazing too, in the middle a delicious sausage patty and egg on top. I love that the menu is always changing based on available ingredients. We will of course be back!"

Alison M. "Stellar. We met local friends here while in town and loved it. We arrived at 4pm and were the first at the bar where we met the fabulous mixologist who would impress all of us with her skills. We enjoyed about 2 drinks each for a total of 8 and all were spectacular and inventive and flavorful. I don't drink alcohol so I had two mocktails for about $10. The first was a creamy, ginger, grapefruit mixture. So delish. After that, I chose a maple cream with a pineapple twist and some other things I can't remember. It was better than the first! My husband had a whiskey and followed with a black manhattan. He said it was the best Manhattan he's ever had and he's had plenty. Our two friends have been here many times and ordered from the whiskey specials menu but then had their second drinks as surprises. Also wonderful. Sitting at the bar is fun to watch the magic happen! They have a small bites menu with some good items but we enjoyed this as a stop off prior to the rest of our evening elsewhere. A gem!"

As soon as we arrived, we informed them of our reservation and headed upstairs to The Supper Club where we were greeted by their live band. Since our table wasn't ready just yet, we were able so listen to the band and they were absolutely amazing! Once we sat down and looked over the menu, the Wild Caught Scallops definitely stood out so I decided on that and I'm so glad I did. The scallops were placed on top of an artichoke fondue and were served with fried cauliflower, pine nut gremolata and an apple bacon sauce! Absolute 10/10!!! The dish was divine!!! Because we sat in the dining area close to the band, we were still able to hear the music while eating and it was such a vibe! Since they were informed of my birthday, they brought me out a complimentary dessert which consisted of vanilla ice cream with a chocolate fudge ganache and it was delicious! From the live band to the awesome service and delectable food, I absolutely did not want to leave. If you are ever in Nashville, definitely make reservations for The Twelve Thirty Club and thank me later! Also, The Twelve Thirty Club has three levels; The Honky Tonk which is the lower level, The Supper Club which is on the 2nd Floor and The Rooftop so keep that in mind when making reservations."

Service was great on a busy Monday evening. Bailey D. "I'm a longtime Snoozer, and have made it my own personal mission to dine at as many Snoozes around the country as possible. My husband and I recently grabbed brunch at this location in East Nashville, and experienced truly exceptional service from Dominique. If you're not joining the waitlist ahead of time via the Yelp app ... what are you even doing?!? This is seriously the biggest brunch hack. When the Sunday Scaries hit, just pull up Snooze's Yelp page and join the waitlist. Then, you have a good estimate for when you'll be seated at the table. Sometimes the waitlist even moves a little quicker than estimated, which is always a win! When you arrive, you just check in at the host stand and let them know you're already on the waitlist. We were seated less than five minutes after arriving at the restaurant. I especially recommend this at this location, because they were absolutely slammed on a Sunday morning. Also - parking is easy peezy behind the restaurant, and it's free for your first 90 minutes! We were seated outside, which was actually really pleasant before the heat of the day. Our server Dominique was a rockstar - she was extremely attentive and offered great recommendations throughout our meal.I've eaten my way through most of the Snooze menu at this point, and can't say there's anything I wouldn't recommend. This time, I went with the Chilaquiles from their summer menu, which were absolutely delicious! I also love to add on a single pancake - the Sweet Potato Pecan is my favorite. If you've yet to hit Snooze, add this spot to your brunch plans ASAP. Plus ... if you visit on weekday, they have awesome drink specials! (We're talking $5 Bloody Mary's, which I don't think you can get anywhere else in East Nashville? Correct me if I'm wrong!!)"

William W. "Tucked away on an unassuming street corner in Sylvan Park, you might drive right past the place if you weren't looking for it. Thankfully, crowd-sourced review sites discover such culinary jewels. It was our second experience at this wonderful restaurant known as "answer.", indeed Nashville's best answer to the question "What is your favorite American tapas restaurant?"!Answer. is truly a neighborhood eatery just as the founders intended in 2017, filling a culinary void between the sparse offerings on Murphy Road and the vast restaurant scene on Charlotte Pike. This tapas experience manages to be simultaneously upscale yet affordable, high-class but budget-friendly. Three in our party of four were professional chefs and gave the food rave reviews, so you know it's good!Their arancini is one of the best things I've eaten in Nashville! Like all dishes on this ever-changing menu, this was modified from its native form, clearly inspired by the popular Italian appetizer but uniquely transformed by the chef. You'll slice through a deep-fried crispy exterior to reveal tender rice. But other flavors and textures treat your taste buds with fatty ground pork at the center. The king salmon is perhaps the best piece of fish I've ever had in my 30 years in Nashville, slightly crisped on the outside, tender and flaky, full of flavor, and perfectly prepared. Unfortunately, since this was the nightly special (August of 2024), it may not appear on the menu when you go. The trout is another great option that's more consistently offered, as are the meatballs. The mussels are fabulous with a flavorful broth, but the fresh rye bread that accompanies the mussels is one of the restaurant's best-kept secrets! And the dessert menu is one of my favorites in the city with nothing but great options. Answer. even offers meal packages for takeout on Wednesdays and Sundays!"

Perfect ration between espresso and alcohol. It was realllyyyyy strong. My bestie had their frosè and she had a similar opinion - drink was good, dredging but strong. Lol drinks are well worth your money here. The issue we had was the music. It was like tropical night or something? It was giving Tulum vibes but without the good beats. Lol it wasn't dancing music. Honestly reminded me of like forest sounds. Lol not to mention the DJ took forever to switch it up. The reviews I read said they play hip hop music and we were hoping to have a good night away from Broadway but that just wasn't the case. Mary S. "So we are not much of breakfast folks but our Airbnb was right across the street and we need coffee in the morning. My travel buddy likes Bloody Mary's. So we walked right in early on a Wed morning before our grand adventures in Nashville started. We loved it so much we went back every day of our 4 day trip. The first day I was actually hungry so got a small plate of a la carte items like eggs and toast. Yummy! I never think eggs are yummy they are just eggs to me. However, man they were so good. My guess is they cook them in real butter which a lot of places no longer do. Their menu looks pretty amazing with a wide selection of delightful looking eats. Banana foster pancakes, bread pudding pancakes wow! That sounds so delish. We are positive you will find a meal everyone in your group will love. The Vanilla spiced hot latte I got was so good that I went back the next day to get one to go. So do keep in mind there is a wide difference in weekday versus weekend. Our first day was not busy but when we went on our last day ( a Saturday) to sit at the bar and have drinks to kill some time before heading out to the airport it was fully packed. ( and it was raining too) If we wanted a table there was a 30 minute wait. Not sure if they take reservations but explore that option if that is available. We ended up sitting at the bar which is a first come first serve type of deal but even that was packed. People were just leaving but every seat was taken at the bar. I stood next to my friend until more people left. That tells me it is a well loved place for sure. Lots of brunchers there. The service here is pretty amazing thus why I am giving a rare 5 stars to a breakfast place. We just loved Elizabeth. ( thee who goes by Catherine-she will get the joke) She was so great, funny, efficient, smart, and lovely. I guess that is the bonus of going on a weekday too. The servers are not in the weeds and can chat a little more and make you feel spoiled. Not that we got bad service on Saturday though, you know what I mean. Ha! The last day we also ran into a lovely woman who was just delightful. Sadly, I forgot her name, maybe Margaret or Melissa? It is maybe an M starting name? lol She is the retired woman who used to live in Massachusettes. Loved her too. Hope she gets a kudos from her boss too. The cafe has a cute Wizard of Oz shoe kind of decor and brunch themed word walls. They just need a yellow brick pathway out leading to the outside patio and out. And yes, I made the suggestion. The funny shirts on the waitstaff made us Giggle. "Mimosa made me do it" and a holiday themed brunch snide one. I am sure there were a lot more we just did not notice. So all in all this place made our trip memorable. We thank Ruby Sunshine for that experience and the kindness and outgoing welcomeness that greeted us in Nashville. EGGscellent."

Lindsay O. "What a meal! I went for a tasting with two food companions. We made a reservation about a month in advance. We showed up early for our reservation so we could have a drink from the little bar before our meal. The little bar is a small bar on the restaurant side of bastion. It's quiet, it has date night ambiance! Now the meal itself was incredible!!! Each item was delicious! The dishes had a great mixture of flavor, texture, meaty, creamy! The service was great as well and answered any questions we had about wine or the dish. Now for the cost. You will have to pay when you make a reservation and that includes tax and tip. That came out to be around $480. My food partners added the $85 wine tasting when we got there so then that increased the tax and tip a bit. What happens is when you get the bill after eating, it already includes the previously paid tax and tip paid for PLUS the additional amount that the bill was increased because of the alcohol. We got confused by that so that is why I share it here. The reason this was important was because we wanted to make sure we were tipping our servers appropriately. All this to say, this was a great experience. We were celebrating and had no regrets. The chefs come out before each course and tell you about the dish. It feels so intimate and just the vibe for food lovers!"

We get there and it's not many people there and I hoped the hours were correct.Walking in you see it's just dimly lit so great. We had an hour before closing. There is a rainbow heart on the glass near the entrance which made us smile to see a clear indication that we are welcomed here. Get inside the staff was welcoming and seated us in a cool red booth. The place and the ambiance was amazing. Very inviting and welcoming. Loved it. We had a few moments to look over the menu and our server was in training with a young man that knew the place like the back of his hand. We patiently let him do the run down and told him by next week watch he have it down perfectly. I'm just not a bad person and wouldn't dare make someone's first day harder than it already is. Let's not fail to mention that everything is made in house and to a chef and foodie like me. That lit me up like the trees I saw at the Gaylord moments earlier. I love small uncommercial restaurants. We had filtered water and ordered dumplings to start. My friend doesnt eat pork so I had them to myself lol. Perfect umami. Perfect chili crisp. Perfect bite in the dumplings. The broth was just heavenly. I demolished those. We were told that items come out as they are ready. So next came the Hand Pulled Beef Brisket Noodles. They were yummy and had a nice spicy finish. The brisket was shredded and had some crispy bits on them like they were pan fried before tossing it with the noodles. The Crab Rice was the BEST it had real noticeable crab meat on top of this yummy sticky crispy rice with egg and citrus of some sort. It also had a spicy sauce that came with it on the side and it made the dish even better. It's spicy so if you're not into that use lightly but please taste it. It was steaming hot and just perfect to warm me up. It was a cold weekend in Tennessee. The cauliflower tasted just like orange chicken. It was yummy but the batter was too thick for my liking but perfect for my friend. The cashew spread on the bottom of the dish was really delicious too. We can't wait to visit again. This place has become our when in Tennessee eat here place. Great service. Great vibe. Great staff. Great food. 10/10 as there was nothing to complain about. Even the water was delicious lol."

I'm not mad at it, but definitely prepare your ears and your eyes.PROS:-I had expected a tequila and mezcal bar to be very margarita-heavy. I was not expecting so many fruity drinks - and I'm actually surprised that most of my mezcal drinks weren't too mezcal heavy either! (I love mezcal, though, so that was a bit of a let-down).-Fantastically clean bathrooms. They have a single M/W bathroom (technically all-gender, but they label it as the M/W binary) as well as multiple M and W restrooms. Each one has its own little closet with a locking door, and they're very clean and spacious. -Service was great too. Not only was she knowledgeable about their cocktails, but she was great about giving us a head's up that our table had a reservation coming up in an hour, and she'd need to move us if we wanted to stay any longer. She checked in often, and after we requested two water refills, she simply brought a carafe without asking, and we were able to drink the water we wanted. -The vibe in here is really nice. It has a posh nightclub vibe. Super dark (it's near-impossible to read the paper menu without using the faux candle on your table), really loud, with lots of fake greenery and neon lights. It's one of those places that would probably look super weird if anyone every turned on all the lights. CONS-I was expecting a mezcal-heavy bar to have more mezcal-forward drinks. Most of their mixed drinks were on the fruitier side that tended to hide that smokey mezcal flavor I love. But I'm glad it's helping make the spirit more approachable to some."
