"What an awesome BBQ Restaurant. The staff was super personable and friendly, the food was exactly what we hoped it would be. Our favorites were without a doubt the pulled chicken sandwich, and the Mac and cheese. The cornbread was even above my expectations which was a nice surprise. A+ Keep up the good work guys!!"
"This spot is worth the trip outside of the city. We ordered quite a few items to try a little bit of everything and loved it all! The fried chicken was our favorite. There were plenty of tables available to sit at on a Thursday afternoon. Do make sure to check the hours before planning your visit because they are only open Thursday-Saturday"

"Got a club sammich last time i was there. It was huge! It was so delicious!!!! Made perfectly! I got it to go thankfully, because I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. Such good food! I don't go there often enough."
"A local treasure off the beaten path but also not too far from the highway. Stopped here for supper on our way through. My husband got the BBQ plate with a side of mac n cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread. The pork came smoked but without sauce and you could add the sauce of your choice. The flavor of the pork was delicious and everything you would expect from Tennessee BBQ. The mac n cheese was less cheesy and tasted more like buttered noodles than traditional mac n cheese but it was still good. I ordered the catfish dinner and it came with white beans, coleslaw, fries, and hush puppies. The flavor of the breading on the catfish, and the hush puppies were SO delicious! The coleslaw had a sweet taste to it, something ive never tasted on coleslaw before but I wasn't disappointed at all. The owners were working and were both so nice and inviting. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for local food while passing through."
"Food good service excellent. Menu with variety. Close to home no wait time. Pulled Pork delicious and 2 sides with cornbread muffin was very tasty too."
"Are you kidding me with this place, nothing short of a masterpiece! I came to have the 'Rib Sandwich', heard it was amazing. Well I heard right. Like the sign says, 'you had the rest, now try the best'!!!But I want to start out by saying the lady that took my order and gave me the food was so nice, it just felt like mom was getting my food. Love that. The 'Sandwich', calling it that makes me laugh because it was a rack of ribs, with two pieces of bread and some amazing pickles. I laugh because I don't know how one would bite through that, the bones are in there. But the ribs are so tender and fall of the bone, you can just take the bones out if you like. I ate at a few BBQ spot while I was in Nashville, the "legendary places". None of them could hold a candle to Mary's. These ribs were some of the best pork ribs I ever had (but that title belongs to Fat Matt's in Atlanta) but Mary's was OUTSTANDING.Oh and the sauce, the sauce was of the charts good. In Nashville DONT wet the bed, go to Mary's !!!"
"11/16/23: My first state of Nashville and what a delight. I'm not normally a meat eater by choice but I have to say the rib wrap was delicious. So much flavor, my tongue was in BBQ heaven.Another spot on the strip with live music. Our wait staff was great, knowledgeable, friendly and constantly checked on us.Various folks got up to dance when they did Tennessee Whiskey.Drink was strong. Definitely good time had by all!"
"Nice mom and pop restaurant, my co worker took us here for lunch the burger was great well cooked the Mac n cheese was meh but I'll definitely be back to try the ribs"
"This is a true to life, honest to gosh, real BBQ Joint! About 8 years ago ole' man Head built a small metal building in front of the pit he's been cooking on for years. Cooking for himself, church groups, neighbors and anyone that had occasion to feed a group of people all those years he got real good at it. The little metal building houses a small prep kitchen, cash register, bread rack and 2 tables. I'm thinking that about 3 years ago he added on to the little building adding 3 more tables and a metal 599 carport with picnic tables. Pulled pork, ribs and chicken halves along with the standard sides and homemade fried pies are the menu. all made right there and you can tatse the love. Opens Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday for lunch and close a little before 7PM except for Saturday, until he sales out which usally is no later than 5 but usally closer to 3. Please be advised that Mr.Head is an ole country farmer and he feeds alot of the other farmers in the area, so thats a brunch of his clientele AND it also means you can get there a little before 10 and expect someone to be eating lunch!! You might need to understand that ole BBQ Pit he built that small metal building in front of is out to the side of his house and infront of one of his barns. So, A country BBQ joint really in the country, serving real pit BBQ by family members, in a building they built in there own yard! Good.. Real Good!!! The only reason he doesn't get 5 stars is..... well, I cook BBQ too (of course ya can't buy mine) so youll just have to take my word for the fact that umm... mine's better!!"
"Excellent food. EXCELLENT service! Food was served fast, hot and with a smile. The soda is carbonated perfect, not all watered down. Bbq beans were like home and the baked potato is gigantic! I am so full! Thanks guys!"

Thought I walked into the wrong restaurant initially because the cabin look and wall decor made me think this was a southern restaurant! On a Saturday evening around dinner time, Fat Tiger was super busy. We waited for about 10-15 min to get seated and maybe another 15-20 min for our food, which is super understandable given how packed the place was! We got the fried chicken in the OG Korean flavor. The chicken was super tender and juicy! It also came with a pineapple cole slaw that was a nice light and crunchy complement to the richer chicken. Also got the grilled pork belly, which came with awesome side dishes, rice, and lettuce. Great smokey flavor, worked really well with side dishes and ssamjang sauce. The jjajangmyeong (black bean noodle) was also very flavorful and came with some of the best kimchi we've had in Nashville. Would've like the noodles to be a bit more al dente, but overall great dish. Located in a remote area about 30 min outside of Nashville with hiking nearby. Will be back!

What a gem! The place smells so great-I knew the food would be amazing. We ordered the Rueben, Philly Cheese steak and BBQ pulled pork. All were excellent and freshly prepared. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Stopped in on the way through. A group of 8 of us stopped in for lunch. Only gave the three stars because the customer service was decent. 7 of us got our meals that were a 2 out of 5 sadly. I just assume it was a rough day for the kitchen as they were packed. But the 8th person waited 30 minutes before we had to go in and ask them for it. Every meal we ordered was very dry and bland. We were very excited for this. But would love to try them again maybe when it's earlier in the day and the food is a little more fresh. But thanks again for the customer service. It was 4/5.

Excited about having a new option for BBQ in Spring Hill, my husband and I came here for lunch mid-week around noon. They open at 10:30 but we had to wait at the front for someone who worked there to appear; they need to add a bell to the door so they know when people come in! Food: 4.5 / 5I ordered a sloppy Joe + two sides: green beans and potato salad. My husband ordered a pulled pork plate with Mac and cheese and baked beans. Everything came out fast, hot and tasted good. Potato salad was a little bland for me but other people might love it, everyone's recipe is different. I hope this place stays around and lots of people try it! I will come back and review other favorites (brisket, banana pudding, baked potatoes, chicken...) Only 4/5 stars because of all the plastic and styrofoam. I'd love to see greener eat in options for silverware and containers.Welcome, Denim's!

Do it. Every city has its roots in food. Mary's will give you a lesson in good bbq and a taste that mingled with the city's earliest pork history. Yes, plenty of bbq in the Music City, but this is worth skipping most tour stops and bright lights.9/10/2022

"I stopped in yesterday for the first time. Located inside a small strip mall, one could easily pass it if they aren't looking for it, but I was. It was very casual inside, but everyone was working hard on orders. I told them I had never been there before, and a young man brought me a sample of a pork rib. The rib was cooked to perfection, a nice bark but falling apart in my mouth, juicy and flavorful. To me, that was a win to stand in front of the other BBQ places in town. They have several meat options, and I love brisket, so I got the brisket plate with Mac and cheese and green beans. They also give you a piece of cornbread. I took it to go, and when I got home, I had a flavor explosion of love in my mouth. My brisket was tender, and Mac and cheese were on point. However, the two things that stood out the most were the BBQ sauce, clearly homemade with love and a slight twist, or a secret ingredient that set it above the local competition. The cornbread was remarkable. It was moist and airy, almost like a cake, not dense and dry. I could live off that alone. This place is the best I have found in Clarksville.Thank you, Reggies BBQ"
"Best service and food ever!! Perry's has ruined me from eating ribs from anywhere else."
"I'm really at a 3.5 but upped it to 4 because that pork shoulder really is GOOD! The place is right on Broadway in a prime location, but this small/narrow kind of a divey place was just that... a dive. That doesn't take away from the meat's quality and flavor. The usual white bread bun accompanied it, which I didn't eat, I was there for the MEAT!I'd probably opt to go elsewhere in the future, but glad I could try Jack's. It hit the spot at that moment."
"So, the four of us decided to hit up this spot for brunch today. Everyone went the traditional route and ordered omelettes, but not me--I went rogue with a PB&J chicken biscuit. I asked them to swap the tomato jam for peach habanero, but they gave me plain peach jam instead. Luckily, they fixed it without any drama. The biscuit sandwich? Decent, but no fireworks.Meanwhile, my friends' omelettes were like a game of musical chairs; their orders got all mixed up.The place is tiny inside, and while they have outdoor seating, Mother Nature was throwing a tantrum with rain today. On the bright side, there's plenty of street parking!"
"Amazing beef brisket sandwich today! The added sweet sauce took it to a new level. The meat was so tender and fell apart with ease in every bite. The service was fast and easy. Takes cards and cash. Offers potato salad and slaw in which I will have to try next time. This is located on Fort Campbell Army post access is limited to those within this community but well worth it if you come for a visit or in a rush during lunch. Great food! Sandwich comes with a can soda and bag of chips. Sorry no photos. Too hungry at time and didn't think about it."
"Shabu Shabu is a very good hot pot restaurant that is a fun time! I've been twice and both times it's been very busy with wait times, so be prepared for that! It's a price fixe menu and you select your broth base with a variety of options. I had the Szechuan base when I came in and ordered it the hot level. I was a little worried it would be all heat, but was pleasantly surprised that it had a very good flavorful broth with a kick of heat on top. You can also add on a grill offering where you grill your own meats at the table. That's a nice option, but I prefer just the hot pot since it's very filling and I found I typically skipped the grilled meats. You select as many meats, veggies, noodles, eggs, etc from the buffet and conveyor belt. They also have sushi and desserts. Be warned that it gets very hot in the restaurant with all the grills and boiling broth happening. The servers are attentive and they have wine, beer and sake. Come very hungry because it's a filling meal!"
"Still a cute place to stop to get barbecue. I purchased a coconut pie for a family get together and the family said it was delicious. The service is prompt and they have Apple Pay now."
""My wife confessed - she doesn't like smoked meat! Can anyone recommend a good divorce lawyer?"I understand the for better or worse, sickness or health - but this crosses a line. How could she keep this to herself for 30 years?! It ought to be in the Bible - in red! Divorce should be considered scriptural if she doesn't like BBQ! If she wasn't so darned beautiful...Whitt's has been a mainstay in this area for years and finally came to Smyrna. Due to aforementioned marital discord, I tend to visit here solo. I would like to go on record as saying they should have a special one night of the week for men in my situation. I'm sure there are more. If you can have a "Ladies Night" why not a "But I want BBQ Tonight Night" for us? Maybe call it "Solo Saturday" or "Manly Monday" - double up on the portion of pork - drown it in hot sauce and give us bibs.Whitt's has always been one of my favorites when it comes to pulled pork. Consistent - moist and flavorful without being over the top smoky. The baked beans are great. The coleslaw is vinegar base, yet slightly sweet. Perfect with the BBQ. They are drive-thru only, but have tables outside for warmer climates. Wednesday nights they have single sandwiches at a reduced price. Maybe that night is set aside for us lonely guys while are wife's are together sipping wine and sampling cheese and oar durbs (I spelled that right, didn't I?) You know, those girly snacks they try to pass off as food that consist of crackers, a lot of cream cheese, some kind of chicken salad with grapes and decorated with a piece of greenery that you don't eat anyway. They need to substitute that chicken salad with a slice of brisket.I know it's the norm now, but EVERYONE wants a tip. You know, when I pull up to a drive thru and order a sandwich, that took all of 30 seconds to assemble - what gives? You pay with your debit card and there - like 90% of all other places - is a space for a tip. 15% of $1.69 (on Wednesday night) is a quarter. Stop embarrassing us both. Bring cash - it reduces the awkwardness. The cashier won't ask if they can keep your change...maybe..."
"Overall not bad. The setting is a cozy classic country BBQ spot with nice staff.Tried two meat plate with 2 sides, of Sliced Brisket and pulled pork, fried Okra and turnip greens which was almost $30. The brisket was a tad dry, but not tough, and good flavor with a char edge. The pulled pork strangely did not have flavor, but was tender. Their mild sauce is a perfect vinegar BBQ sauce that was the saving grace for the pork. The fried okra was a big portion for the side (which I think cost extra), and the pieces are pretty heavy breading, but not soggy. The turnip greens had a slight sweetness to them, and were really soupy which is not my thing. There was a white sauce that came with the meal, which wasn't white BBQ, and seemed like a gravy of sorts that I've never had before. Tasted ok with the corn cake!Food was up quick for lunch."
"Very surprised by our visit for AYCE Korean BBQ. This restaurant was much larger than we thought and lots of options on the menu. The staff was nice and our server Danni gets 5 stars! I have done AYCE Korean before (many times) and this one was a little different. You get to choose 2 meats and 3 Banchans (sides) for the table per round/order. That was a little odd, because they consider rice and wrappers as sides. Plus it's nice when all the traditional Korean banchans are out on a table. But our server was great and we figured out how to time is so we can get what we wanted with our meal. I just don't know how large groups would do that? Maybe consider 2 banchan requests per customer for each round? Banchan and meat portions were good. Also meat quality was great. Really good Bulgogi and pork belly. Kimchi was good and we really went because they had radish wrappers! We haven't seen those in Nashville, just lettuce usually. Now if they had rice wrappers and fish cake that would be awesome! Also no steamed egg here. They put Yum Yum sauce in your trio of sauces which we thought was odd. They do have Mac & Cheese, Fries and Chicken Nuggets (their version) as sides, if your kiddo is not a Korean BBQ fan - that was cool. The offer vanilla, chocolate or strawberry ice cream at the end but we were full. Food overall was good. Very clean and great ventilation - you didn't smell at all like you came out of a Korean BBQ Restaurant. Also, lots of seating options, especially for groups and parties which was cool. Full bar and food drink/beer selection - wish they had Hite beer on the list."
"Pretty darn good barbecue, the highlight of my entire meal was the pulled pork with white sauce and the mayo coleslaw both were outstandingly great. The mac & cheese was not the best ever but it was still really good. The regular ribs were a bit fatty for me but they were tasty. Absolutely Will return. Recommend the pulled pork with the white sauce. #Amazing"
"We needed a late night spot that was still serving food! Pour house was an excellent choice! Pour house isn't just bar food. We all got an excellent meal! The appetizers & drinks were great! The entrees were excellent too! Our server was great! There are plenty of TVs to watch various games but it's still quiet enough to have a conversation. We really enjoyed pour house & we'll be back!"
"I was famished when I arrived in Nashville. Word was it would be 6 hours before I would be having dinner so I stopped in for a sandwich. The staff was exceptionally friendly and suggested the pulled pork sandwich. This was decent BBQ for an airport. Good flavor, tender and juicy! Great airport BBQ. Quick service and a lot of offerings. I wanted to try more, but stuck with the sandwich. The price was what one would expect at an airport. Nothing fancy and great to grab and run to your gate or in my case, run to the rental car."
"Unexpected little gem of a place. I have to admit I judged a book by its cover and this time I was supremely wrong. When we arrived to stay at a near by place for a few days I saw this place and while it was crowded I overlooked it. I wrongly assumed it was busy because of its proximity to hotels and attractions, not because of their food or service. I was wrong on both accounts. Caney Fork is busy because they are good. We came here on our last night of our honeymoon to get some food after being out all day. The day before we had gone to their attached ice cream place and found that they were both family owned and since the restaurant offered wild game meat my husband was super interested in trying it. We came here before 5 on a Sunday so it wasn't packed with people and were greeted and seated super fast. Our server Red was awesome. He was personable and knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. We got the wild game platter and also the surf and turf. The wild game platter had fried gator, Cajun frog legs, elk patties and, wild game sausage along with their outfitter stew. The gator wasn't tough it was fried perfectly and had great flavor. The frog legs were tender and flavorful. The patties were a little dry but I imagine that in a burger they would be amazing and paired with the bbq sauce that came with them took any dryness away. The sausage was bursting with flavor and the stew reminded me of an Irish beef stew or a nice hearty winter stew. The surf and turf had an 8oz sirloin that was perfectly cooked and juicy. The shrimp was bbq grilled and bursting with flavor. The sides were had were the campfire potatoes that had a great crunch and the onions only complimented the flavor. And the deep fried cheese curds were not overly greasy and had the perfect melted consistency. It was a fun dining experience. The restaurant is done amazingly with tons of fun things to see and to discover. The waterfall lake with fish were fun to be seated by and provided their own entertainment. Like I said before Red our server was awesome. Fun and funny and made it more of an experience. He wanted us to enjoy everything which is what exactly happened. Next time I am in the area I will definitely be back for the food and also the service. Check this place out for something fun for the family or a date or just for good food."
"get in the car and go immediately!!! a true dive but in the best possible way. my friend had the pulled pork sandwich and loved it! I had one of the giant potatoes and it was seriously one of the best things i've eaten since moving to nashville! since moving, i've had a lot of barbecue but this is the best place i've had. the staff was also so friendly and so funny. we had a great experience and we can't wait to go back once the ice thaws fully!"
"Great food. Small establishment. Everyone pleasant. Some foods made to order & fresh! Come early as popular items run out. Daily specials. Very happy this is close to my house."
"I just got off a plane when I read a text from my husband. He wanted me to stop at a car dealership on my way home and test drive a car he saw online. Ever the sweet wife, I took a detour and headed to the dealership. As I finished the drive, I asked my salesman where I could get a quick burger that wasn't a fast food place. This dude looked like he has had a few burgers in his lifetime so when he said go to Hugh-Babies, I listened. Hugh-babies is what is fast-casual. Not a fast food place but somewhere where you get your food fast. And fast it was - I had my burger, fries and milkshake in about 5 minutes. I still had a 100 mile drive home and wanted to get in the road so I got my order to go and ate in the car. I opted for something not too messy and ordered the cheeseburger. The large, juicy patty's came topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions and comeback sauce. Not sure what was in the comeback sauce but I'll definitely come back for it. My shoestring fries were burn your tongue hot and just the right amount of crispy. The chocolate shake? Let's just say I should have ordered the large. In addition to burgers, the menu also offered a selection of bbq sandwiches and hot dogs. There was plenty of seating both at tables and at a counter overlooking the grill. Likewise, there was plenty of parking out front. I'm glad I listened to my salesman. And no, I didn't buy the car...if you have a Lincoln MKZ Reserve for sale, let me know!"
"Come for the music or for the drinks. We drove up from Pensacola, FL to come see the Nashville Yacht Group play on a Saturday night. Scoreboards lets everyone come in and see them for FREE! Crazy, but awesome! The place gets packed so be prepared but tip your waitress well (as you should) and they will take good care of you. This is one of the most fun places to go out and watch some great music, have some drinks and truly enjoy the atmosphere. There are times I couldn't' even hear the band everyone was signing so loud. If you are in Nashville, take an Uber out to Scoreboards. You won't be disappointed."
"Updated review: I was blown away by the food and hospitality here. I ordered a half slab of ribs with fries and grits casserole on the side and was totally in heaven. The grits casserole was so cheesy and packed with flavor, and the ribs were fall off the bone. The real star was the bbq nachos, which were served on thick crispy potato chips with pulled pork, sauces, and tomatoes. It's a lot of food for the price too!The waitress who brought us our food asked if it was our first time here, and since it was my boyfriend's first time, she brought us a cup of each bbq sauce to try (jalapeño ranch and a white bbq sauce) and a scoop of banana pudding on the house--which was also fantastic. This is going to be our go to spot for bbq from now on."
