"I will never stop promoting this beautiful spot. It is just outside of the city, and worth every bit of the drive. It is not open often, but it is always a delight. They specialize in British fare, and all the menu items are delicious, you cannot go wrong with anything! Service is so friendly, I have only had good experiences here!"
"Got a TON of pastries from here, including various croissants, brioches, and cookies. My favorite was probably the 3-cheese brioche (I tried the sausage and cheese on too but the sausage was dry and didn't add much flavor) and the everything croissant. All the sweet ones were a bit too sweet for me, especially the cookies. Interesting fall flavors though. Croissants weren't flaky which was disappointing, and the chocolate croissant just had chocolate drizzle and not chocolate inside? What. Or if it had chocolate inside, it was very, very little. Ordered online for pickup the next morning, pastries are on the expensive side."

"Gorgeous coffee shop. Friendly staff. Great place to meet for business. Staff have been friendly and welcoming. The decor is truly remarkable."
"I have been meaning to stop by here and finally had the chance. So glad I did!Very cute shop. Lots of options and great customer service'Had their iced coffee which was great and my S.O. had a cortado and was a fan. Also got a peach scone, however didn't realize till I left that it was blueberry. But didn't really matter because it was delicious and one of the best scones I've had in awhile. Definitely have to stop in for lunch."
"Coffees were lukewarm, not piping hot b/c I guess they are premade and kept in a thermos dispenser. Portions were small for both coffee and sandwiches. But the sandwiches were tasty. The hot sauce selection was great!Good place for a quick bite."
"Breakfast love*** Definitely will stop again. Service is at the counter where you order and they give you a number and bring your food to the table (beverages are self serve). The vegetarian breakfast sandwich is outstanding. Best thing is no egg! I guess if you want that they can add but it's so nice they have a lovely breakfast sandwich on fantastic fresh bread, yummy veggies and cooked to perfection. The meat lover at the table had the Viking and enjoyed. Don't miss the hashbrown casserole. It's totally a great addition to your meal. Friendly service and nice homey dining room."
"Love the variety and availability of different sizes but I would like to have a dozen different options instead of just half a dozen. I will say the serves is always fast and the staff are always friendly. The place is always exceptionally clean. It would be nice to see a bit of personality as it is giving borderline clinical sterile right now. I appreciate that employees are dressed neat & uniform. That is extremely nice to see! Overall, it's a great place to go and have a decadent treat!"
"We were walking in this area and saw this spot and had to pop in to see what they had to offer. Before you get inside, they have an outdoor area for kids to play! How amazing is that? You go and get a coffee and pastries for the kiddos, you let the kids play in this enclosed play area outside all the while you get to drink your coffee in peace. It's an amazing concept! So nice for them to have an outdoor play area."
"Another one of my fav pit stops on the way to the highway. I love how they have a drive thru! The service is always great and their coffee is even better. My go-to is an iced americano and boyyyy, it will get you thru the day!Now if you have some time to kill, def stop by inside and enjoy the hip but modern feels of the coffee bar, or chit chat with friends on the sofa chairs in the corner. There's also group seating with larger tables btw, so there's something for everyone. This is a small coffee shop, but who needs loud and obnoxious when you have coffee and chill? ;) Definitely a great study corner. Free WiFi, just early closing hours."

What an absolutely amazing experience!! A little English refinement found its way to Kingston Springs. Authentic English breakfast items and fine tea are served here in an enchanting atmosphere. The service is fabulous and welcoming. The venue is a garden atmosphere. Local crafted goods are on sale here as well. This ingenious group has put together an "experience " that you don't want to miss.

Such a good little bakery, a little hidden.. so keep your eyes peeled. Very minimalist space but your tastebuds will heighten enough senses for all of you. Try the sunshine roll & the sausage and cheese muffin.

Finally! A beautifully decorated and locally owned authentic cafe in Nolensville! In addition to the calming and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, the cafe offers espresso, pastries, gluten-free muffins, and light lunches with many gluten free options. The service was warm and welcoming. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to see us. I also loved the European style stand-up coffee tables. Another quality design decision!Opened by a local mom, Monamie Coffee definitely raises the bar!

I can't believe it took us so long to check this place out! This place lives up to its name! BAKED GOODS ARE A YES!!!!! Everything baked we got was fantastic! Everything that wasn't baked was mediocre. Doesn't mean we won't try it again, by any means. I'd say the things we were not impressed with we are quite snobby about which could just be an US thing and why I would never dock stars for stuff like that. Top notch:1. Pecan morning bun (not sure if there were raisins or cranberries, you can just pick them off if you don't like them)2. Sandwich bread slices oh my goshhhhh so goodJust okay:1. Chicken salad. I could tell it was quality ingredients, a little dry but mostly not flavorful - we ordered to go so I just doctored it up at home 2. Coffee, husband is a bit of a coffee snob since he roasts his own beans. Maybe it was just not brewed as well as it could have been, or maybe it's just my husbands palate lol I am genuinely looking to try some of their other items too given how good their baked goods were!! We were going to get the Italian sandwich on baguette which I'm sure would have been really yummyI loooove the location! Parking was just so busy on the weekend you just have to park in the garage or loop around a bazillion times. We sat inside and it's just a small quaint little spot. Every weekend since I have been dreaming about the pecan bun! We will be back!

Stopped by on a Saturday morning before the eventual rush that overwhelmed their inside space. Folks were patient and understanding. That meant I had to sit outside in the rather cool weather, but at least the view was nice. The breakfast panini with egg and cheese was filling and just what I needed. Crispy sourdough exterior was wonderful! The bourbon caramel latte with oat milk was subtle but a bit on the warmer rather than the hot side. Not too sugary either. Nicely done.

Merridee's Breadbasket is a place I've always passed in Franklin, and I finally decided to try it after hearing such great things. It was quite busy on a Saturday, but that's a good thing! The spot is very cute inside, and looks just like the name. I ordered the Ultimate Club. The bread is to die for. It made the sandwich. I'm a sucker for honey mustard on my sandwiches, and that hit the spot.We decided to sit out on their patio where there was plenty of seating which I was worried about when we first got there.

I think crumble is over rated and over priced. I've been there twice when they first opened and haven't been back since. Our local pastry shops are so much better. My opinion.

"What does one do when one wakes up in Nashville to find that everyone in the family has woken up with resting-coffee-face and the only thing within reach is the rental house Keurig garbage? A little panic sets in. Everyone wants a decent cup, but where to go? We're traveling and not familiar with the area. Then I thought of my grandfather. A wise man who lived until the age of 93. When I was a young man, starting out in life, he gave me three pieces of sage advice. 1 - Be curious about the world, and never let your desire for experiences dim.2 - If you are lucky enough to find love, and that love needs caffeine, do not deprive her.3 - People from Seattle know the most about coffee. If you are lost in America and without decent brew, seek out the wise ones.I set out with my tools. Those tools being google and phone. We found a hit. Cornell Brothers. A shop founded by a Seattle transplant who is passionate about both coffee and music. We treated ourselves to a Lavender Honey Latte, a Churro Latte and an Organic Iced Green Tea (Grandpa also said that any decent coffee shop will also have a few teas in order to accommodate the non-coffee drinker). Each drink was hand-made in the most anti-st*rbucks way possible: with care by a single human being who did not insist on using arbitrary mixed-metaphors for sizing and pricing (why IS grande not the biggest, btw?).The result was divine. Small-batch, fresh, un-burnt rich flavor, which was exactly what we needed to get going yesterday. The Churro Latte not only appealed to the pickiest of the group, but actively made him happy the rest of the day. The green tea was fresh and slightly sweetened with a touch of simple syrup/The location itself is within a co-op that offered plenty of options for food to go along with our late owning excursion. While this review is not about the other businesses within the co-op. There's good food to be found here and it's a nice bonus. So, Nashville coffee crisis averted. The family is happy, Grandpa is right, and the rest of the day was spend in caffeinated bliss. I wish we had one of these at home."
"Great little middle eastern grocery. I was craving some grape leaves (dolmas) but wanted to make them myself along with some other Greek and Persian dishes. This grocery market had everything I needed and was very friendly. I will definitely be back again."
"Yassssss! Don't snooze on this place. We got 2 pieces of cake - vanilla almond and confetti, snickerdoodle cookies, rice Krispy, blueberry pop tart, and chess pie squares. The only thing that wasn't stellar was the cookies. They were kind of hard. Everything else was phenomenal. The cake looked dry, but it wasn't AT ALL. I didn't eat my piece until the next day, and it was still perfect. The chess pie squares were good. The pop tart was divine. I got it because I read they're known for these, so I had to try one. So glad I did. Just amazing. Husband said the rice Krispy was awesome. The online ordering process was really easy. Don't miss out!The parking lot is really small, and it's off a busy road so hard to pull out. Maybe there's parking in the back."
"Modern third wave coffee shop with touches of vintage charm, located in the lobby of Nashville boutique hotel, Noelle. The space is filled with natural light, ample seating, and flat surfaces for working. They serve single origin coffee from local roaster, Sump, and high quality pastries. They also offer a small menu of made to order light fare. I was staying at Noelle, and ended up getting coffee here twice. On my first visit, the Iced Latte was exceptional, with balanced acidity and subtle floral notes. I also loved the Cherry Almond croissant, which had crisp, buttery layers and a delicious fruit jam within. On my next visit, my Cortado was so burnt that I could barely drink it. Perhaps an off day. Regardless, I think this is a good choice over a corporate chain any day."
"I was in Nashville for the first time on vacation and read great things about The Cupcake Collection in Essence magazine. Without a doubt I made plans to stop by to try their treats while supporting a local black business. The location is a small but cute bakery within what seems like a house. I arrived about 2 hours before closing and upon walking in, I was greeted kindly. Unfortunately they were out of most the flavors I had wanted to try so, I settled for a red velvet and a wedding cake flavored cupcakes. I decided to indulge in my cupcakes on the porch. Firstly, both of the cupcakes were moist and flavorful. I mean, they were GOOOODDD! Probably one of the best I've ever had. Of the two, I loved the wedding cake cupcake which surprised me because it has almond buttercream and I was apprehensive as to what that would taste like. It was superb! The sweetness on both flavors was balanced very well. I had to stop myself from eating both of them in one sitting lol. Nonetheless, it was really good and I wished I had more time to go back and purchase more. Luckily they offer online ordering, so guess who will be ordering very soon? *points to herself*. I highly recommend to others and I would surely return if I'm in Nashville again!"
"Covid review: Amazing customer service! Such a friendly staff! I would add more stars if the system let me! I enjoyed a hometown vibe and it felt like I was a guest in someone's kitchen! They have a delicious lunch menu! It's very healthy with soups and a variety of sandwiches to choose from. Lots of take home options for making dinner or baked goods in your own oven! That makes you look like a rockstar without having to do all of the work! I'll have to remember that next time I have a date or a family dinner or something, so I can do less and impress ! They are doing a great job following the cdc guidelines, and all the food is wrapped. Sorry to those of you who are old enough to remember the free slice of bread or samples they used to hand out. Obviously they have to keep everything safe these days, and they do a great job! Yet they haven't lost the personal charm! Proving that you can still be safe and friendly at the same time! I wish all of the businesses operated like you! It was heartwarming and refreshing....and oh soo good!"
"We arrived here at around 12:30pm on a Friday afternoon to a very short line. Celebrities all love this brunch spot, so we had to try it. It's definitely worth the hype. Best pancakes ever. It's very open with lots of seating inside, so the line moves quick. But we never felt rushed. They were short staffed, but our waitress was still awesome. The diners around us were so friendly too. I can see why locals love it just as much as tourists."
"First time visitor. Why so long?.... I have no idea. I've heard great things for years but today was the day. They have a great location in a cute house just off Main Street in Downtown Franklin. Parking is "Franklin parking" but if you are good to walk, there are lots of spaces many of them without charge. Staff was very pleasant and efficiently getting customers through the checkout counter. I picked a couple of mini quiche and a couple of muffins to bring home. The quiche were very good, nice flaky crust, good flavor without being overly greasy. We sampled the Tomato/Goat cheese and the bacon. Both are items I would order again. Got the morning glory muffin and it was really good, large and chock full of nuts, raisins and goodness. Pretty filling though so yes, you could split it especially if you are having anything else. Took me a while to get here but I'll be back soon!"
"We happened to be having dinner nearby and decided to check out this bakery afterwards. We felt a little lost when we walked in because we didn't observe any signs labeling the different varieties of bread. However, an employee quickly walked up to us and let us know that the trays and tongs were by the door, and identified a few of the breads that looked interesting to us. Since it was our first time here, I was hesitant and choose two items--a pineapple bread and a cherry bread. The purchase was less than $2. Something like $1.80, which seemed really inexpensive because the two items were pretty hefty in size.Took them back to our hotel and split them in half. OMG...they were so good. I was tempted to eat the other half but decided to be nice and share them with my husband who thought they were good too.For the next two days, I kept thinking about this bakery and ways I could convince my husband to take me back there. However, my conscience for trying not to eat too many sweets and carbs got the better of me and we didn't have a chance to go back. But in the future, if we're ever in the area again, I can't wait to go back to this bakery and try more of their items. So delicious! Glad it's not close to where I live otherwise I'd be in trouble!"
"We stopped in for lunch on a Friday on our way out of town. I'm glad we did. Unfortunately, they didn't have many of the baked goods I saw in other reviews. But what we had was awesome. We had the croque monsieur, leek and parm pastry, mushroom and feta (I think) pastry, tomato mozzarella quiche and a pistachio eclair. Loved every single thing I ate. LOVED. It was worth fighting traffic from downtown to get here. Shop is really cute. The owner was very kind and service attentive. There's a small parking lot for easy parking, but I imagine this fills quickly on the weekends."
"I went for the first time today and will be back! I got a vanilla iced latte and it was stellar. I also ordered the ham egg and cheese croissant sandwich. The croissant was soooo good and flaky. The atmosphere is trendy and adorable. The staff was so kind and even gave us a free fresh from the oven cookie. I will be back!"
"It's been a bit since we tried Jersey Oven and we wanted to give them another chance so we grabbed a bunch of bagels and cream cheese last month. It was much better overall and our whole family enjoyed their bagels. The strawberry cream cheese had an odd gritty texture to it so next time we'd try a different cream cheese (or just get a plain one). We're glad we tried them again and will be back."
"I was visiting Nashville and we wanted to get a fun dessert after dinner. Five Daughters was a heavily recommended spot when researching things to do and I was so excited to try these dense donuts! We went at the end of the day but they still had quite a selection and my nieces got so excited to learn they could have the last mini donut when ordering the second to last one. The staff working at this location were so friendly and I loved all of the pink decor inside. This is an awesome bakery!"
"I was exploring Nashville and killing some time, and I decided to pop in here. I had just come from brunch so I wasn't hungry, but I decided to have a tasty London fog tea latte, it was delicious! I also appreciated that I could just sit and relax and enjoy my tea. The donuts looked amazing and they had many visitors! I need to come back here with an appetite to try some treats one day."
"I stopped by Panini Bread Cafe for a sandwich today since I hadn't packed a lunch for work. Their menu is simple - mostly, you guessed it, panini. I got the tuna melt and a side pasta salad from the fridge. The tuna melt was average - not the worst I've ever had but certainly on the drier side and not very memorable. The pasta salad was okay - not super fresh, because some of the rotini pasta had dried out at the ends. The service was fine; I wouldn't say anyone was particularly friendly, but they were fast! This wasn't a meal I'm craving to repeat anytime soon, but I work very close to the cafe, so I'm sure I'll be back sometime soon when I forget to bring a lunch to work!"
"Great baked goods and friendly folk. Easy parking. Go early for the best selection."
"If you love trying pastries and desserts. Lots of options here. This bakery kinda tuck away in the corner of the plaza. I was eating in the area just happened to stumble and seen this place. They have Birthday party picture frames hand made for purchases and cute piñata. Cashier lady working the front speaks only Spanish so she wasn't much help. She had to go to the back to find some one to help us out. I purchased a slice of tres leche cake and it was delicious. But definitely a place I would keep in mind to come back for churros next time."
