We had such a lovely dinner here last night. The restaurant is higher end while feeling casual and homey. We loved the ambiance and decor of the space. Our waitress, Erica, was so much fun. She had great recommendations and was just a joy to engage with. We had the lobster hotdogs, mussels and corn soup to start. We love a good appetizer. These were all perfectly cooked with great flavor. We split the smash burger and a chopped salad for dinner and the burger was one of my favorites of all time. Drool worthy. Resisting the urge to go back again tonight but very tempted. If you're looking for a romantic dinner date spot or cozy meal with friends in Cherry Creek, this is a solid choice. We will be back next trip for sure!

Came here because it was advertised as a small plates eatery, which sounded perfect for the time and group. That said, small plates didn't seem to be a huge part of the menu, and I wasn't particularly turned on to most of them (and the one I did, an odd shredded-lamb-on-cornbread-with-peppers-and-lemon-emulsion was a bit odd, if tasty. While presumably pretty much anything was available from the bar, the specialty cocktail list was a bit strange, too. Lots and lots of pineapple was featured.Service was very helpful -- and helped us get out of there in the face of some time challenges we had.The ambiance was fine -- nice decor, well lit from outside, all was nice. The only weird note was that the restrooms were up on the (hotel) second floor, which was either up the elevators or a very vaulted ceiling set of stairs.Overall, I'd return again if invited, but I wouldn't go out of my way versus the many other offerings in Cherry Creek.

If you're considering Narrative for a private event, their staff should make you think twice. We tried to do a private event here, and no one from Narrative seemed to know what they were doing. This was a pretty sizable private dining event, something that Narrative is supposed to specialize in. They couldn't come through. They could hardly even return an email or phone call. It was shocking how much they ignored us and a guaranteed $3,000+ check.Because they never could figure things out (Narrative was our first choice!), we moved on to other restaurants like anyone would because we needed a place for our event. Somehow, they had the nerve to call us to confirm if we were coming 3 hours before our event. We never made a reservation. We never received a confirmation. It was confusing and ridiculous all around. Based on our experience, I would think twice before planning any type of event here.

Great food, small spacious, clean atmosphere in the bottom of Marriott hotel in Cherry creek. The food is delicious, smaller portioned, fresh, and interesting. We tried the brunch - great drinks! Tuna Poke App was great and the waiter had great recommendations for food. You can't go wrong with the chicken avocado chopped salad with "blackened" chicken! So gooood! We also tried the eggs Benedict!

Beautiful restaurant in a walkable part of town. I didn't love my vegetarian dish but the group I was with had really delicious omnivore options.

Inside is very large with a wallpaper of books! The staff are very friendly and courteous. The appetizers were very fancy and delicious! My favorite was the tuna poke with crispy rice paper, as well as their bread basket. The beef wagyu was alright. Good for a casual hang out to catch up with a friend

Nothing bad, nothing great. The smash burger was pretty good but my sunrise cocktail was hard to choke down. My husband had the pork shoulder and it just tasted off which seemed to be from the maple glaze. The glaze was super sticky and got stuck to his teeth. He ended up finishing my burger. Loved the ambiance and our server!

I loved the ambiance of this restaurant located in the lobby of the Jacquard hotel. They had complimentary valet because we were dining on premise. The service was slow, we stood at the hostess stand for several minutes waiting for an actual host to seat us. Our waitress had to be flagged over to get more drinks etc. The beef tartare was probably my least favorite menu item. It was very mustard heavy and was more like a meat salad (think tuna salad but with meat and mustard) than a refreshing tartare. The pork shoulder however was out of this world. Overall when traveling back to Denver, I think I would try my luck with one of the many many other dining establishments.

We stayed at the Jacquard hotel in Cherry Creek North and dined at their restaurant, Narrative for dinner during our stay. The place was packed, and we were seated in the main dining room. The aesthetic of the restaurant was airy with clean lines and a white bookshelf wall display was the main focal point. Our server Mariah was fantastic! She recommended each item we ordered and knew the menu inside and out. The Lobster Corndogs were served with jalapeño hot sauce & smoked pepper honey. The Tuna Poke was made with avocado, sesame ponzu, green onion, yuzu kusho, & furikake rice crackers. This starter was fresh & bright - the tender fish, creamy avocado, and delicately crisp rice crackers had a really good texture combination. The Caesar Salad was made with romaine, shaved pecorino, buttered panko, & cured egg yolk. This was one of the best Caesar salads we have had in Denver - the shaved pecorino generously coated each leaf of the crisp lettuce. The Braised Short Rib was made with mascarpone polenta, roasted mushrooms, hazelnut, & orange mustarda. The short rib was so tender it fell apart under our forks. It had a robust flavor of succulent beef and combined with the mascarpone polenta, it made for decadent bites. The Diver Scallops were made with butternut squash, parsnip, roasted apple, & cider gastrique.

We had a private dining experience with Ryan N. It was fantastic. We had 18 people listening to a presentation and his service was impeccable while allowing everyone to focus.
