Murphy's Tap House

We were a party of five on Christmas Eve. We were happy to find a nice place open for lunch. This family owned restaurant has a menu of classic, scratch-cooked dishes with their own special tweaks. They have an extensive beer menu(40 on tap!), wine, and cocktails, none of which we sampled this time. Everyone was pleased with their food selections which ranged from fish and chips, prime rib sandwich, Ruben, country fried chicken, and my choice--Vegetable Cashew Stir Fry. I was happy to have brown rice as an option with plenty of perfectly cooked veggies. I had enough for two meals, as did two other guests. The ambience was warm and inviting. We definitely would come here again!

Food is consistently good. Great happy hour for small plates! Good service and great kids menu.

Nice outdoor seating area, with shade, some grass for the kiddos to play/run on, and a few outdoor game.Service was a little slow, but not terrible enough to not return.The menu (food and drinks) is very good. My server gave me a great recommendation for a local beer - which I always appreciate.Location has good parking, seemed to have many seating options inside, and the restrooms were maintained.I'd recommend trying this spot.

In a whim, I found myself taking a friend here. He was just craving a burger, and the craving was successfully satisfied. We arrived just before happy hour ended, and started promptly with the beer cheese. The small portion of veggies were underwhelming, but that's where the underwhelm ended. The accompanying pretzel bites were excellent, warm and fresh, and the beer cheese had a brilliant flavor and somewhat gritty texture, which I enjoy. As an aside, the beer was spot on. Some piney IPA, what can I say, I know what I like. Only $1 off for happy hour, but better than nothing. My lamb burger was perfectly cooked (medium) and I appreciated it arriving somewhat disassembled. It lets you add the toppings you want, ordered as you like. On the side, bison chili. Nicely spicy, not overbearing, flavorful and warm. My friend wanted the BBQ bacon burger, something he normally wouldn't want because they're so often drenched. But again, it arrived "deconstructed", allowing him to build it perfectly to his liking. Overall great experience. And as my third time here, I can confidently say it's easily 4 stars. Staff has always been nice, the vibe is warm, and I always leave happy. It's not the best food in the region but it's constantly a safe bet.

Normally, they have best breakfast burrito in town. However, today there was a marble in my food. Yes, a MARBLE. How can this have happened? I would love to know what cook is bringing marbles into the kitchen. I'm so lucky that I didn't swallow it or crack a tooth. I called and they said they would refund me but it didn't sound like they believed me so I'm posting a review with a picture. Ridiculous!

Overall, food & service was poor at best . The Ragu pasta was soupy and gland. Had to get this redone. The 2nd time was pretty equal to the 1st time. Over the past year the food quality & service has gotten worse. This is the last time I'll be going.

Nice atmosphere, good selection of adult beverages. We attended with a large group and service was good considering our size (20+). Would recommend.

Hadn't been here in years, but thought I'd give it another chance. Basic Murphy burger and salad was actually pretty good. The service however stinks. Sat at the bar 10 minutes while the bartender spoke with waiters. Finally got her attention by waving, and you'd have thought I called her a name. Never came back to ask how my food was or clear the plate. Had to wave my credit card to get her attention.Never again!!!

I came here because the parking lot is always full. Sat at the bar and ordered a sandwich. It came out in literally 3 minutes. Not sure if that's good or not. Sandwich was sloppy. Avocado brown. Fruit was so old..soggy grapes. Pickle was old too. Too bad. I wanted to have a good meal. Didn't even finish my beer. Bar tender was amazing!!!

High qualify food, great service, and by far the best beer list in the area! Happy hour is great as well.
