Review for Ms. Movale's Eatery:While the food arrived well-packaged via Grubhub, unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of the experience. The quality of the food was disappointing, to say the least. As someone who recently takes food and critiques seriously, I can confidently say it was some of the worst I've tasted since arriving. Despite the high 4.9 rating, the reality was far from it. Everything tasted like it came straight out of a can, lacking any semblance of care or flavor. The blurry picture captures my frustration while documenting the experience. I won't be ordering from here again, and I strongly advise others to avoid it as well.

This was my first time here and I'm thoroughly satisfied. In addition to the food being good the atmosphere made me feel like I was in my grandmother's house. The service was the icing on top I would definitely recommend.

I ordered meatloaf with collards and macaroni. The meatloaf tasted like ground turkey with no seasoning. The macaroni was pretty good but the collards had no seasoning and was undercooked.

This place is a hidden gem. I was a little spectacle when We walked in and the place was empty. After making the order and the cashier going back to the kitchen and It look like my mom back there , I was a little relieved. I ordered Turkey wings, mac and cheese , and black eyed peas. Everything was good and it came with dressing and a piece of homewater cornbread. The turkey wing was extremely tender. The serving was of dressing was small but it was good as well. The best part was the mac and cheese. My fiancé got the fried porkchop with gravy, candied yams, and mac. Everything was well seasoned and he got a healthy sized pork chop. For both meals we spent $19. Great price. Nice mom and pops soul food place. I definitely recommended itJust do yourself a favor and try it. They also work with Urber Eats.

Wow. Okay we were recommend this spot on Facebook. Would have never gone otherwise since we literally live an hour away. Well it was worth the Sunday after church drive. Let me call it--with all due respect, a hole in the wall. And this is the best hole in the wall spots you will find in Atlanta. The food was ridiculous the service was even better and honestly I'd drive an hour for the hot water cornbread. I kid you not. You deserve to treat yourself to this spot.

I was so disappointed-I commend myself on trying new places and really being honest. The restaurant is clean and inviting but my food was I just don't know what to say-the chicken was dry, mac and cheese was bland-no seasoning on anything and I just threw my food in the garbage. Maybe it was just a bad day but my experience has led me to the bypass status on this one.

Normally the food is good and ok portion. Got wing dinner tonight and it was a joke. They were wing pieces instead of a whole wing and extremely small. Not worth the money and not good!I try to support small businesses but this was a rip off!

This place is traaassshhhh! Basura. My wife went in there with our 3 year old son. The owner's grandson "Brandon" works the front. This man is a maniac. Firstly, my wife waited an hour and some change for our food when quoted a 20 minute wait, the lack of "Brandon acting professionally by asking what customers "wanted" instead of 'Hi, may I help you?' This young man proceeds to get angry at the fact the place is getting busy and slams the cash register into my wife where she was waiting for our food, and flips a whole coin jar over at my son! Yelling and screaming. The owner then comes out, and that the customers need to excuse him bc he has "mental problems..." MA'AM! Why is he running your counter! Luckily my wife and son are ok, but what if they would've gotten hurt? An assault and battery charge from YOUR grandson that YOU clearly states had mental problems. The food? Dressing? More like corn meal, chicken broth, and cream of mushroom soup mixed together. The fried chicken was overly ass salty and gummy, not crispy at all. The yams still had a weird layer on it when biting into it, as if it's not cooked all the way. Collards were surprisingly pretty good. But that peach cobbler and mac and cheese was trifling. During her grandsons rampage she comes out and explains that they are understaffed that day and her other 2 cooks were in an accident at 2 am and everyone "just needs to be patient".My opinion: That's the price of having your own business. Your lack of having a reliable staff is not your customer's problem nor their issue. No discounts were given after having almost 14 orders backed up after my wife left (she counted only 5 people getting their food, but 18 people ordered all together....including ours....and ours was a CALL IN!!!)

Waited an hr for Mac and cheese and dressing went to ask how long to be told I can either wait longer or get my money back hell I waited that long what's a few more min.. she did make sure I was next in line however hand me food with her head turnt n when I said thank u and have a blessed day her rude ass ignored me never again will I eat here Y'all want the younger generation to respect the older but sum be just mean and nasty for no reason if I could give you all a 0 I would after giving y'all my business for the 3rd with bad customer service every time I definitely will not be returning anymore

Had ordered bbq chicken mac n cheese with yams, chicken dry asf , macaroni was nasty llike it wasnt baked and the yams tasted sour or sum never tasted yams like that before
