Moonbird Coffee

Amazing coffee, breakfast burittos, and friendly service! Been enjoying black coffee lately and even their black coffee is so so good! However, my usual is lattes and they always have new seasonal flavors to keep you coming back! Moonbird is located in downtown Chamblee within South Bound restaurant. Only drawback is that they have limited hours but definitely worth coming!

We loved the atmosphere. The staff were super helpful and explained items as it was our first time here. We tried the special of the day, a black bean and green chili burrito which was very yummy. The lattes and my son's hot chocolate were great. Good flavor and hot! We will be going back soon!

Excellent Banana Nut Muffin, soft and chewy. Nice and kind service.Great atmosphere of chatting or reading.

This is really nice atmosphere for a quick drink and bite. For working remote, its not so friendly. No charging stations and not open for long. I get it though, people need to keep it moving so they can make money. I did enjoy my coffee and the lady who helped us at the bar was super nice, welcoming and patient!

Came in a few weekends ago for coffee and breakfast. We got vanilla lattes and the breakfast burritos and a piece of crumb cake. We sat on the patio. Perfect for fall!

Love the accent brick walls throughout the building, adding an urban loft feel to your coffee sips. Things you should know:I. PARKINGThe coffee shop is within downtown Chamblee, but luckily you don't have to parallel park. There's a free private parking lot out back ~ easy. II. SERVICE Personable and welcoming. They'll make you feel at home. Keep in mind they close at 11:30 a.m. so don't wait to get your coffee kick in. III. QUALITY The pastries are made fresh inhouse ~ I got the ginger lemon scone. It's light and not too sweet. If you want something sweeter, go for a muffins. The coffee is standard, but I loved getting the option of 3 to 4 shots in my iced Americano. Not many locations ask in that way.IV. CAPACITY Fair amount of available seats, but they fill almost up around 10 a.m. People camp out here to work/study so don't feel judged if you want to do the same..!

Great place to grab coffee and other drinks with someone! The baked goods were also yummy.

Always closed. The one day it was open, there were cats in the kitchen. Coffee is completely nothing special.

Hard to find but definitely nice huge coffeeshop by day. Ordered the cardamom coconut latte with almond milk! Yumm worth the $7 indulgence !

What a fabulous little coffee place. Friendly and welcoming, both the baristas and the atmosphere. The Mexican mocha latte was perfection, the balance of spicy heat, the slight sweetness and bitterness of the chocolate, a perfect pull of espresso, and the creaminess of the steamed milk. If I lived locally, I would drink these daily! I also enjoyed a burrito which was delicious, well filled and not all wrapper, like so many are. The atmosphere is great too, eclectic and fun with exposed brick walls, open beamed ceilings and large windows. Well spaced tables with mix and match chairs allow for plenty of seating options. The room on a grey day was a bit dark but still bright enough to work. Awesome place, can't wait to return!
