It is well worth it to try out this newer venue in Conroe. They have a unique menu and set of cocktails that set them apart from other spots in the city. It was a little quiet for a Friday, but we got there a little late for a night cap. The service was quick and friendly. The Chacho is a delicious smash style burger with great flavor. And don't forget to try the waffle fries with it. The Fool's Gold cocktail was a unique whiskey and banana and honey mix that shouldn't work but really does. The Oaxaca Old Fashioned was also a unique take on the classic with mezcal and amaro. It got a little bitter for my taste, but those who enjoy a Negroni will love it.

Found through a Facebook page and thought we would come check it out. This is a newer spot in downtown Conroe but the location has plenty of parking, looks great inside, and the staff were amazing. Shout out to Isabella she was so sweet and helpful with ordering and made some pretty solid drinks. On Sunday they do have a limited menu for a bit for Sunday brunch just a warning. But they were sweet and accommodated us on a couple items we wanted to try. I tried the blood mary it was pretty good and spicy just wish it had a bit more tomato in it. We ordered the chips and queso, hot chicken sandwich, chicken quesadilla, and birria breakfast (don't judge we were hungry). Chips and queso were pretty solid might not add the onions on top next time but you also get plenty of chips. The hot chicken sandwich was just okay for me it was a little overfried/burnt but I still chowed down. Only other thing is I would like more sauce but you know those are little things. Chicken quesadilla was loaded with chicken and cheese so you get your money worth. My significant other was in love with the birria breakfast. The meat was so tender potatoes delicous and the flavors amazing. He did say it was some of the best birria meat he has had in a long time. Looking forward to coming back!

Alright, Monkey's Tail neighborhood bar is a classic back in Houston northside area, so coming here was exciting! Came in on a Saturday evening, and plenty of seating and not crowded. This is also their first week open for the Conroe location. We ordered a few Micheladas which I believe is the best and was hoping it was the same house mix from the Houston location and it def was! The waitresses were extremely friendly and helpful and available to answer any questions! We ordered two orders of wings since each order is only 6 wings butttt don't be fooled the wings are massive so one order will get the job done! Also ordered a flour fajita quesadilla. Buttt we did meet the owner Jesse who provided us with great intel and said the Houston northside location will be open soon and is getting closer to opening.Downside..... they don't have a patio here and is all indoor which is fine buttt that patio at the original location gives that extra exterior seating luxury! Give them a try Conroe!

Where do I even begin! From the service (both the bartenders and the door guy - all fantastic, also the chef! I don't say this lightly, but these are actually my favorite wings I've ever had. I came in after work to get some to go food and have a drink while I wait. The Monkey Seltzer was soooo good, I could have consumed multiple had I not been driving home. The flavor was so fresh and enjoyable. I got the waffle fries and opted to add the aioli and I'm so glad I did. I also got an order of 6 wings and they let me get 2 flavors which is so fun! Mango habanero and lemon pepper Parmesan...dude! If ever I'm stuck on an island and have to pick one food item, it's those wings. The flats of full wing too! Also, you get either celery or carrots on the side and they let you opt for both. I unfortunately don't live here, but I will return before I head out of town to snag some wings for my husband. It is the least I can do given he's had to listen to me boast about them for the last hour. Excellent all around the prices are awesome too. I also adore a bar/restaurant with dark lighting and they have that locked in.

We have been here for steak night and chicken fried steak night and the food has been amazing both times! 10/10!

I wanted to share that I went to this cute new place recently and had a great experience. The customer service was amazing and the drinks were fantastic. The customer only little downside was that the chorizo was a bit greasy. Overall though, it was a great time.

We absolutely LOVE the Monkey's Tail! From the amazing mixology for cocktails to just some of the best food for a bar! We have been going to the original for awhile now, but YAY there is one closer to us now! Go give them a try, you won't be sorry!

Good food, drinks, and service. No patio, only inside seating. Not the most alluring location but good nonetheless

We went on a Friday night at 7ish to have drinks and dinner. The atmosphere is very bar ish. Very loud music, Hispanic music mostly. We got a few drinks. They were different but good at a good price. This place is for 30 yrs and under, in our opinion. If you're looking for a real bar atmosphere and you love Hispanic music this is the place for you

I rarely leave a review, but I had to leave one for this gem. We usually drive to downtown Houston for quality cocktails, but now we have an amazing option in Conroe. Complex, well balanced cocktails and all the food was delicious. Giving five stars for excellent service and top tier cocktails, and I will be back again as a regular.
