Was walking around the Rino District and Mister Oso caught our eye with its very colorful decor/aesthetics and were surprised to find some decent food there. Staff and bartenders were super friendly and made some great recommendations. We started off with some refreshing agua frescas, margaritas and some elote ribs. I've never tried elote ribs before and decided to order some. I originally wasn't a fan of the concept and it was a mess to eat but it was actually really tasty, we loved it.We also ordered some empanadas and birria tacos. They were nice and crispy. Flavors were great and the meat was soft. Overall Mister Oso made for a perfect lunch.

Food is spectacular! We have really enjoyed everything we have tried so far!However, they lose two stars because the service isn't always that great. The last time we went, we were largely ignored and waited entirely too long for our food. We had asked for extra tortillas, which were never brought out, and I had to stand up and go inside to ask for the bill, as we had asked for it 20 minutes earlier but it never came to our table. This was really sad, as I was so excited to take my parents to a new and delicious spot, only to have them be largely ignored by the waiter. We had already tried to take them once before but the wait was so long that we ended up going somewhere else. As much as I love the food, I haven't been too keen on going back since.

We'd had a hard travel day and were fortunate to be seated quickly after having to call and cancel our initial reservation because of a 3 hour plane delay. I was so grateful the manager remembered us.The service was excellent and the food and drinks were delicious. The spicy margarita and the four rum manhattan were standouts but we also enjoyed the slushie drinks. The guacamole had a great acidic pop to it that was addictive. The tacos we yummy but the plantains with the mojo tacos stole the show. I was surprised how well the coconut rice and beans went together. If those were all I had, I'd have been happy. I wouldn't call it traditional Mexican but I would call it authentically delicious.

Probably the best tacos in Denver! We had the birria, chicken, and lamb tacos. All of them were so good and were all flavorful and cooked perfectly. My favorite birria tacos. The lamb and chicken in particular were Smokey and so good as well. Also liked how the tacos were deconstructed and you could build it the way you like it (besides the birria).The chips and salsa and Queso were super good also. Weird how chips and salsa isn't on the menu though. The churros were so delicious and some of the best. The caramel sauce I thought was a bit too thin, but the addition of the lime was a really nice touch.They had two special frozen drinks. I tried the whiskey, apple, peach one. It was so good and and the consistency was perfect. The tequila frozen drink also had a perfect consistency. Their house marg was Smokey and pretty good as well. The service overall was a bit slow because they were super busy, but overall our servers were friendly and we liked them.

EXPERIENCE: 4/5Mr. Oso has a very trendy and cute interior. I've had nothing but great service at this location, although it does take awhile to get seated. The location is small, but worth the wait. TASTE: 4/5I wish there were more options on the menu because everything is good. Their food packs a lot of flavor, but the options are limited. The margaritas are very good and I recommend asking for them to be spicy!!!

A modern twist on Latin cuisine. Located in the arts district the restaurant has a very casual vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Reservations are highly recommended at this Michelin guide stop for foodies. Service staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive. Daily happy hours from 3-6PM allows you a chance to sample some really awesome appetizers at a discounted rate. We absolutely loved everything about the starters and sides; very creative and distinct twist on standards. The taco meats were delicious and interesting (lamb, pulled pork, etc. ), condiments were outstanding, the taco shells themselves were a little gelatinous/chewy. A pleasant surprise, and a nice little change from standard Mexican cuisine.

Great little taco spot with weekend happy hour! Cute drinks and mini tacos for happy hour. It was our first time in and we had a great experience, can't wait to stop in again to try more menu items!

This place was suggested by a Colorado native and it was good. The overal ambiance was good, but the food, in my humble opinion, left a bit to be desired. What's interesting about this place, if you order tacos, they come in a big tin, with meat, and tortillas. Assembly required. But the thing was, there were three of us, and they put all the different proteins in one platter. We didn't know what was what. Overall, the food was flavorful, but nothing really stood out.

Was in Denver visiting a friend and wanted to try out a new spot. Definitely one to check out!!Agua chile was super fresh and same with the tacos. Drinks were delicious and well balanced. Over all ambiance was great with it being cozy. Nick our sever made great suggestions which really made us enjoy our time there. Will be back next time we're in town. Thank you for the hospitality!
