Milano's Pizza of Oxford

It's difficult to find a location that makes a great Stromboli. I ordered a build-your-own Stromboli with sausage, ground beef, mushrooms, onion, peppers, and cheese. It was delicious. I was happy they did not hold back on the fillings. It was nice and full. Serve with marinara sauce on the side. I also ordered a personal meat-lover pizza. Cooked to perfection. The Pizza was very cheesy, and the crust was slightly crispy. If you are looking for a great-tasting pizza and stromboli consider checking out Milano's.

I'm not sure where to start... one server at the front distracted with what I'm assuming is the owners children. Sticky table. Over all not a clean place. Slow service. Oh, and a cockroach crawled across our table. Cannot comment on the food because we did not stay.!

I want this place to blow up, so badly, but not for the Italian food- for Mediterranean Night.The well-kept secret: on Thursday nights, Sheri, the proprietor, serves up huge, underpriced plates of Egyptian Food. There's no set menu really, it goes like this:Me: "Hi, I'd like the Mediterranean special tonight."Server: "Uh. Let me get Sheri."You order based on what is described to you, and then Sheri goes back and cooks it, to order. You'll wait, because of that, but it's always worth it, whether sit-down or takeout. What do you get? Think of things like Macarona Bechamel, ziti topped with baharat-spiced beef under a bubbly bechamel sauce, or a mesaka'a, roasted eggplant under that same spiced ground beef, topped again with a bubbly bechamel. Or, goulash, which isn't a stew, but layers of phyllo dough stuffed with spicy ground beef and peppers. There are great fresh salads, and a buttery, nutty pilaf that always gets doubled up with roasted potatoes, you know, Egyptian-style. Last night, there was a stewed beef over that same pilaf- creamy, tender, perfect for a Thursday night in February. If you're lucky, there's a bunch of baklava on the counter, or if you're really lucky, Sheri's made a small kunafa, crunchy, creamy, rose-y, like it's supposed to be.So to sum it up- Milano's is an authentic Mediterranean restaurant inside a place that happens to serve Italian-American food, too. A lot of folks get disappointed by the al-forno noodle dished with red sauce and melted cheese, and it's pretty much because you're not going there for the right thing. Pivot to the good stuff, and it gets good- really good.

I'm sure the covid crisis impacted this business- it really used to be a favorite of my husband & my self. Last time we went the food was okay but it was evident that the staff was working very hard- I am sure the best they could.The ambiance was missing but I'm sure next we visit - everything will be up to par

The service was good. The waitress seemed to be the only one working in FOH and even still was attentive to everyone who walked in. The food was pretty terrible. I ordered a Baked Ziti and a garden salad; pretty simple. The garden salad came out first and everything looked old or watered-down. The lettuce was not looking appetizing at all. Finally the baked ziti came out. It was from right out of the oven so very hot. The noodles were extremely over cooked to where it was like eating mush. The sauce tasted horrible and was very watery to where the bottom of the bowl was almost a soup. I don't think I'll be back until they know how to make decent food...

Second time trying this place. Completely burnt the toppings, all edges black and dry on the pepperonis. Really disappointing.

sandwich was good. I had to wait like 10 minutes and call them to get someone up front to stop playing with their cell. drink came out slow. sandwich was good. my bill was line $13.51 or something made the mistake of paying with a $20 and never got my cha ge at all. Tasha a huge tip and not earned. waitress had a whopping...4 tables and poor attitude. after waiting on my change I had to leave to return . to work. so she got over $6 on a bill of $13.51. I was leery of all the prior bad reviews but hungry and little open on a Monday. I cannot believe this place is still open. How???? and why? Like Bud Light, vote with your dollars and feet . Stop coming here. Waitress had poor attitude, lazy and busy with her cell and the Steve show of loud arguing guests that didn't add to dinning experience one bit

Went to this restaurant with friends. My suggestion as I haven't been here in years. Now I realize why I haven't been in years! When we arrived, there was no customers in the place and it was almost 7 pm if not later. After almost five minutes of not being served or even seeing any staff we got our own menus and utensils. Thought we were going to have to cook our own food. Finally, Krista came out and said she was sorry that she was taking a smoke break and didn't know we were there. REALLY!!! We placed our drink order and then she took our food order. We as in both couples ordered fried pickles and then she took our entrée orders. She repeated my specific order to me like twice. When the fried pickles came out, only one order came out and no other mention of the other order of pickles. We finally flagged her down and asked about the other pickle order. She seemed shocked we asked for two orders. She put the order in, again, and said it would be right out. We actually saw where she had dropped one of the orders of pickles when she brought out the one so not sure why she didn't just fess up and say sorry and say another batch would be made. Okay. We get our entrees and wouldn't you know, my order was wrong. Even after repeating my order to me she still got the order wrong. When I said it wasn't right she asked me again what I wanted and took the food back. This time having an added ingredient to the food. I got a steak and cheese and only wanted lettuce and extra mayo. When it came back, I had may, lettuce and (gasp) tomato! Also, we asked for ranch and after getting the two that came with our pickles, she told us she was out. Blamed someone for not getting any ranch for the restaurant. Came time to pay, by this time a party of like 10 came in. She was dealing with them in the same manner she did us, kinda slow. We heard them order salad and asked for ranch and at the time, she didn't tell them she didn't have ranch. Geez! I went to pay my bill and as I paid my bill, she left me at the counter because she forgot to take someone's order in the party of 10 and then when she came back to me she kinda looked at me. I wanted a copy of my receipt. She slammed the copy of the receipt on the counter. Mind you the food was good and everyone in my party seemed to enjoy it but the service sucked! I won't be back even though the food was great. Other than mine being wrong the first go round.

Worst place in town. I haven't eaten here in a while and today I remember why. I ordered a chicken club NO mayo. pretty easy order..........I received a chicken club with no lettuce no tomatoes, but tons of MAYO.......and uncooked FF, Thanks for a lunch I can't eat...................................................will never return........................................

This place is sooo gross and just needs to be shut down. They have roaches all in the kitchen, don't wear gloves and barely clean. The food sits out where the temperature cannot be right for fish and everything else so im actually surprised nobody has gotten sick here yet. Also they do not pay their employees on time claim they never have money. Super poor management.
