Everything thing from start to finish. When we walked in the manager immediately knew who who we were and seated at our table Kaylee our server was exceptional. I cannot say enough great things about her. She was happy to be at work and happy to serve. The food was amazing. It was so refreshing to go to a nice establishment and get wha you expect. We will continuously become back. Great job! Keep up the great work! Smiley Family

This use to be our favorite Sunday buffet with delicious food but a new manager has taken over and switched to a sub par and expensive Sunday brunch. With prices going up I know cost have to go up but I'm not paying $21 for a hamburger and judging from the number of customers in the restaurant at one o'clock it doesn't look like many other people will either. There's a very limited menu available as well and not the great food the use to have. All in all with the limited menu options and the food not what it was we will find other places to spend our money

This steakhouse is wellknown to the locals in upper NC and lower VA. It is always packed and once you taste the food you will see why. Various other reviews state how they take the time and care to make your steak the right way and this is extremely accurate. Althouhonly certain sizes of steak are priced on the menu they will cut your steak to whatever size you like and expertly prepare it for you. I had a 16 oz prime rib and it was delicious when it hit the table and the leftovers were delicious the next day. If you are in this part of NC and you are a fan of steak, do yourself a favor and stop by. PS. The waitstaff is extremely friendly and well versed in the restaurant's offerings.l

There was a bunch of us, waitin' forever to get seated, then waitin' some more for our grub. The manager was real nice, makin' sure we were taken care of. And even though the food took its sweet time, it was worth it.But our server? Whew, she was somethin' else. Just fussin' and cussin' 'bout the manager while we waited. Not exactly the kinda vibe we were lookin' for. Next time, we'll come back, but we'll be askin' to sit somewhere else, that's for sure.

Traveling from back from Virginia to Louisiana (home), we took the wrong exit but continued through countryside of NC. Passing by the Middleburg Steakhouse close to dark, I actually made my husband turn around and go back. It was supper time and it looked great from the outside. Atmosphere was okay, but the waitress did tell us that there's a bar over us and that we may hear something dropping on the floor and to expect noise. The only thing dropped up there was the notes from whoever was the live entertainment. Up charges for your vegetable at $2 for asparagus and $3 for a salad was a shock. We ordered the ribeye $40 and although it was not overcooked, it was very thin and tough. We ate half and asked for a to go box. Truly would not recommend this place unless there's nothing else close. Friday night and half empty restaurant. I can understand why. Just disappointed. Guess I had high expectations based on the building.

Exterior of this place is warm and inviting, however once you step inside and wait to be greeted it's another story. The "hostess" is very rude. Maybe someone with a heartbeat should be the first impression of your business. You get the feeling you are not welcome as she tells you the wait times. We have eaten here multiple times and the food is not worth the hour or longer wait nor the treatment you receive when you walk through the door. The tension is real while you wait. Disappointing!

We've visited a lot of "5 star" restaurants and I must say for this small little steakhouse, in a small town, right off hwy 85, I was completely shocked at how amazing the food AND service was. The inside is so cute, warm, and reminds me of a miniature Angus Barb. If you stop by, I encourage you to ask for Sterling as a waitress. I promise you, you won't leave disappointed. She could run circles around most of the waitresses I've had at higher end establishments. So kind, attentive, and constantly checked in. She didn't just bring us our drinks, food, and tab. She made sure we always had everything we needed. We ordered a ribeye and a queen filet with a sampler platter. The salad was great too! Highly recommend to give it a try! Looks are deceiving

We went for a friend's birthday and were amazed. The food and service were outstanding! I wish I would have taken pics. They accommodated us with dinner menu options since we came at brunch. It reminded me of Angus Barn in Raleigh but better. We will be back!

The food is always amazing, but the seating is always a disaster. They say no reservations for small groups, first come first serve. Then smaller groups come in and go first because they have reservations.The food costs too much to receive anything but first class service

Went the first time after hearing how great this place is. (The rest of my group had been here several times) We had a reservation for 7pm but didn't get seated until after 8:30pm. We were switched waitresses twice, and drinks took 20 minutes to even be taken. We finally got our food about 9:30, and they close at 10. The ribeye was ok. Super thin piece of meat. I understand that they were out of chicken and prime rib due to the freshness factor, but had our reservation been recognized we may have had more options. Not sure if the new management has something to do with the total disregard to customers. When calling a few weeks prior to reserve we originally asked for 6pm, and the hostess said 7pm would better for our party. Guess she should have said 9pm or "we don't do reservations".Pros - unique atmosphere Cons - reservation system doesn't exist - new management - limited menu
