Sunday Brunch review : Service : 5/5 Waiter : Jacob H Jacob was very a tentative and provided us with recommendations. He was knowledgeable about the menu and provided his input as well ! Ambiance : outdoor patio was nice and they had the fans going so it didn't feel super hot. Very cool and breathable The menu had a variety of options that I really liked ! I LOVEDDDDDDDD MY FALAFEL MEZZE and the pork belly on the Kimichi Benedict was amazing ! Def would come back !

This place was wonderful. The octopus was delicious, it was served with radish, cilantro and some crema. The fries (not pictured) were great! I didn't get a chance to snap a pic because I was starving and munched out on them. The service was amazing, the manager came to our table and all, to introduce herself and let us know that she's available if we need anything. The bartender was very nice and made our drinks fairly quick. The espresso martini was good, the coffee really packed a punch. My favorite part was when they brought out the double baked carrot cake, it was yummy!! It was my birthday, so they also brought out a hand written card. That was very thoughtful, I really enjoyed that aspect of my dining experience. Overall, I highly suggest you check them out. We made a reservation in advance since we were a big party, they were very accommodating.

My initial review was over a decade ago and Michael's is still in business, so they are obviously doing something right! We met friends here last night for happy hour (available from 4-7 every night except Saturday) and dinner. We started at the bar, where they have a fantastic menu! We opted just for drinks since we had dinner reservations, but the snacks ($6) looked great! We had two rounds at the bar; all drinks $10:Bulletproof Manhattan - verdict was that a manhattan should be a manhattan and don't try to mess with the originalOld Man Go - perfectly balanced but a little on the sweet sideBig Poppa - the person who ordered it liked it, but you have to be down for a smoky scotch experienceLiterally Good - this was ordered 2x! It was a hit! I sampled and did not like it because of the mezcal, but if you like smoke, you'll like this drinkAperol Spritz - this was prepared in the classic manner and was perfectFresh as a Cucumber - I ordered this drink and loved it! Light, refreshing and not sweet at allEn Fuego - this was my 2nd drink and I also loved it! I'm generally not a tequila fan, but the tequila was balanced by just a bit of sweetness from the watermelon and a fantastic jalapeño bite! After our rounds at the bar, we were seated and greeted by Ramon, who was a fantastic server! We had brought two bottles of wine with us ($35 corkage fee per bottle). Ramon brought both white and red glasses (Riedel) and chilled the white down for us. We started with the okra, which was roasted so as to avoid the sliminess. Perfect! The okra pods were nestled on a bed of piquant pimento cheese. After the okra, we all opted for the Spice menu. Two of us had the mussels escabeche - these arrived tapas style, out of the shell in a garlicky oil with a side of grilled sourdough. Really delicious! They paired perfectly with the albariño we brought. The other two starters were the french onion croquette and the beef tartare; I didn't sample these but the guys in our group enjoyed them. For mains, we had the cobia and the mafaldine. The cobia was roasted with a nice wood flavor. The mafaldine came with mushroom and cauliflower in a creamy sauce and was delightful!Dessert was espresso flan and almond cake - both were absolutely delicious. I don't care for the texture of flan, but the flavor of this dessert was magnificent! On my last visit years ago, we felt like the restaurant was way too crowded, and they seem to have renovated the interior to eliminate the crowded feeling. The tables were spaced appropriately, and only the bar area felt a bit crowded, which is totally understandable as they have a great happy hour. The service was excellent and a huge improvement. I think the happy hour pricing is fantastic and they do a great Spice menu; however, the regular menu and wine list is a bit pricey.

Had this restaurant on the radar for a while and I'm happy I was finally able to dine here. Every single dish was perfect. We started with some drinks which were good. For appetizers, we had the Burrata and the caviar service. The entrees included the bucatini, risotto, chicken, and pork Milanese. Everything was simply delicious. The Milanese and chicken were definite standout dishes. For desert, we had the carrot cake/cheesecake which was fantastic. Service was good. The restaurant has street parking, but valet is only $5. Restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating.

So unfortunately not a fan. Service was super slow and barely brought water to the table. Mussels were not good. Everything else was meh. Espresso martini wasn't the best either. Restaurant was cute though.

This was a delightful visit. The outdoor seating is beautiful and the live jazz band on Wednesday evenings was definitely a fun addition to the ambiance. Reservations is a must. Food was very tasty! Vito's Stratciatella was so fresh and delicious! The service was friendly and attentive. Street parking is accessible. Will definitely visit again when in Miami!

I absolutely loved Michael's Genuine!! I'm ashamed. I'd never been here here before when I heard they've been open for 17 years! I love that it's located in a little nook of the Design District, only $5.00 for valet, and they offer outside seating that is covered. It's a very cutesy place located in a very beautiful place. From the moment you arrive, the host is splendid. This place was slammed, and it was bumping. We arrived early, so we sat at the bar for some aperitifs & appetizers. The bartenders at the bar were great, and our drinks came out quickly. We ordered a few Mojitos & Rum Revivals with 3 orders of half a dozen oysters. Everything came out lightning fast. Our table was ready on time and I think we got one of the best tables in the house. Our server was amazing, I forgot his name, but he definitely gets a shout-out. He was funny, extremely attentive on an Easter Sunday, and we were seated outside. When we got our table, I ordered the find your path mocktail to have with Brunch & that drink was deeeeelicious. A white wine sangria and a bottle of wine. We got 2 orders of the deviled eggs to start off. They were yummy. We followed up with avocado toast - that comes with Maine lobster on top instead of a traditional egg. The falafel mezze and a pita, the falafel were so hot and fresh. The whole roasted lamb. Which was a misnomer because you only receive pieces of Lamb, not a whole lamb, lol. The pièce de résistance was the short rib hash. This dish was very flavorful and delicious. The short rib was cooked perfectly and just melted in your mouth. For desert, we ordered 2 nutella mousses - yummy but mostly chocolate. A lemon sabayon, which has full-blown blueberries in the mix, which makes it sweet & tart. The BEST desert was the raspberry mille feuille. The puff pastry was crispy yet soft enough to cut with a fork.Everything about this restaurant is a good time. The vibe, the staff, the food, everything was 5 stars all the way, and I hope to come back soon.

10 minutes into being sat in the worse table in the place and I still haven't spoken to my waiter, 6 different people have passed with bottles of water and nobody has thought to offer some to me.The ambience is hectic and loud. Would not recommend for a date or anything intimate. Its Monday evening and there are children screaming and running around withoit any adult supervision.Asked for limes for my water, got 3 wedges that were so dry that not one would make decent lime. The food was fine, pretty expensive for the quantity.
