Mia's Table

Mia's Table has a cozy environment and is perfect for sharing a meal with family and youngsters. We hardly had to wait before food was out and everything was fresh.The chicken fried chicken was MASSIVE and cooked beautifully. The green beans surprisingly lacked a bit of flavor but it wasn't something a bit of salt and pepper couldn't help. I snagged a bite of my little sister's Mac N' Cheese and it was yummy. Definitely recommend!

The staff honestly could not have been nicer. Coming and going there were several people that said hello and goodbye and thank us for their business. They truly are building a positive culture with their employees that is rare to find now. Plus free self serve ice cream machine.It might be somewhere you look at the menu before you get there, because it's the style of restaurant where when you walk in the door you order at the counter and then you go find a seat and they bring you your food. So you don't have a whole lot of time to look over the menu. And they do have a lot of fried food, burgers, a good amount of appetizers. This is not a "healthy eating destination lol. I didn't see any adult beverage options other than beer (bottled and draft). However, onto the food: this is my second time eating there. I did forget to take pictures unfortunately, but last time I had the chicken strips, this time I had the chicken fried steak off of a recommendation for my parents. The chicken fried steak is huge it fills up the whole plate but....was super salty! The jalapeño gravy is OK my mom raves about it. But altogether I ate 4 bites of it; Same with my sister. We probably should've shared one but nobody told us that and my mom is all about leftovers. But she didn't really enjoy hers either so maybe it was just a bad night with whoever was battering or maybe that's just the one menu item to stay away from.When you go to pick your sides, this is what's important... you have to get the mac & cheese!!! I kind of wish I would've double sided on that but I was trying to be good and get a veggie. But I really enjoyed the macaroni and cheese. Their green beans had too many onions and broken pieces of green beans, which to me kind of resembled ones out of a can, but I don't know that's true. The fries are whatever, I'm glad I didn't get them. My son just kind of picked at them so I'm assuming they weren't his style. My son got the fried shrimp and was very pleased with it. It kind of sucks because it's not on the kids menu so I had to pay the full $19.99 for him to have that but he did eat really well so I was OK with it.So if you're still reading at this point, it's definitely somewhere that's worth a try. Its pricey! They do have great customer service though!!! And free ice cream! And when you need to-go box, they have a station set up so you can help yourself to whatever sizes and items you need, as well as self-serve drink refills so you're really not waiting on wait-staff.

Hubby & I stopped in for an early lunch while doing our Saturday run arounds. We've been wanting to try Mia's Table out for sometime and finally did. Wow, Wow, Wow!!! I had the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy, mashed potato, green beans and had to try their Mac & cheese. Hubby had patty melt w/fries. 10/10 - Chicken Fried steak...crispy, tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. 10/10 - green beans were just like what my momma's with bacon & onions. 9/10 - mashed potatoes were to creamy, like over whipped. I actually mistook them for gravy. They were good, just not what I'm used to.8/10 - Jalapeño gravy was good, but I expected a slight kick. But I'm Serrano, habanero type a lady.6/10 - Mac & cheese was alright. I've been making Mac & cheese for a long time, rue and several different cheeses. So it's hard to beat from any restaurant. 8/10 - Patty Melt was fresh, juicy and flavors were pretty on par for a petty melt, per huddy8/10 - fried were good, but salty. Overall, we will return. Their menu has a plethora of things we are going to try. Go check them out folks‼

Still one of better local family, casual dining spots in Katy. Today I am order one of my favorites, the Fried Shrimp Platter.

Amazing place for dinner, well cooked and tender delicious chicken wings with gravy.Excellent service .Lively place love the ambience.

The most delicious meal I've had in such a long time, the chicken fried steak was breaded perfectly with the most tasty chicken, the sides of mashed potatoes and mac were perfect combination for the plate. The best way to end the meal is a sweet treat, and that were the milkshakes- so perfectly creamy and sweet! 10/10 stars

Entrees:Patty melt--10/10! Kickin fried chicken sandwich--10/10!American red snapper taco-- 5/10, not really a fan.Queso w/chips -- 7/10Sides: Sweet potato fries-- 5/10, I think because they weren't fresh Mac n cheese-- 7/10Drinks:Pomegranate margarita w/tajin rim--8/10, very refreshing & it came with pomegranate inside. The food is always amazing. You get your money worth and it's always enough for leftovers. Love it!
