A log house is not pretty for its corners but for its pies. This Russian quote rings true for the cozy Sunny Terrace in Sunny Isles Beach. It's basically the dining terrace of a well-known Russian market in Sunny Isles, with the bonus of a live music / cover band on Sunday evenings. The menu consists of well prepared and tasty comfort food. It's a more family friendly vibe (versus a club or date style). In other words, perfect for a calm dinner after a fun night before. My service started with fresh brown bread & butter (kleb y masla) before enjoying my Chicken Tabak & mashed potatoes. This classic Eastern European dish is basically chicken au jus, with butter and a sprinkle of red pepper (I definitely tasted a hint of heat) and pressed with a heavy object while being fried. I like spicy food so you know I enjoyed this dish. With the just-creamy mashed potatoes, it definitely helped my stomach recover from the weekend. Of course I had to cheat and enjoy dessert, in this case their berries strudel (strawberries and blueberries as well as vanilla ice cream),The hot black tea I enjoyed helped with my recovery Sunday as well.Service was on point and my waitress pleasant in reviewing the menu. I'll definitely stop by soon!

It's Russian! My favorite food from growing up like Borsht and Olivea, yum! Salad seems greek-ish, but is crisp and fresh. I'm not a huge fan of restaurants not describing the garnishes on the menu. I dont eat seafood, yet the Olivea arrived with caviar atop. I'm a little critical because I've had so much home cooked Russian food in my life and expect it to be a certain way I guess. I didn't order any tea, but I saw it served at other tables, and is so cute. Live music here was so fun, they had a man with an accordion. Feels authentic and staff is so great.

We had great experience in this place!! We came on Saturday for lunch and every table was reserved, but they still squeezed us in since we were not staying for long which was very nice of them since we drove for about an hour to get to this restaurant. The place is pretty small and more of a patio section of a Russian store, so it's outdoors - they don't have inside seating. For such a small place they have a good variety of dishes and drinks. We got salo, pickles, borsch, branzino, chicken cutlet, and Napoleon cake with mors and coffee. Everything was just great and came out perfectly and on time! The service was great too! We had a lady who was very polite, knowledgeable, and patient with us. The word of advice, make a reservation prior coming in.

Best Home made Pelmeni in Florida! From all the Russian food places in Sunny Isles Beach, this one is of great taste and value. Generous Portions, takes a little longer because everything is very fresh . While waiting , enjoy a rare treat of live accordion music on the weekends. Service is courteous and professional. Can get very busy on some nights, with friends and family gatherings .

If you're hungry and crave for some good Russian food STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. How can you make spoil simple "Olivier Salad" and make it tasteless? What do you add into Varenniki, so you taste only pepper and weird medallion cut was over seasoned, with no taste The table next to us complained about spoiled soup.... This place doesn't deserve any star.P/s we paid for the whole bill, basically without touching the food.

The food here was amazing it came looking so good that I forgot to take a picture first. And once I took a bite, it was just as good as it looked. I got the beef stroganoff. The best part (which is hard to say because everything was amazing) was the waiter Anton, he was so nice and attentive, he also took time to explain all our questions. Overall it was an amazing experience.

This is a nice little restaurant on the corner of Matreshka. Staff is friendly, service is fast, live music on a Sunday night makes for the relaxed atmosphere and a sanitizer is placed on each table. They are pet friendly too - my pup got a water once we sat down, which was much appreciated. We were greeted with a complimentary bread and butter basket. What we got: khachapuri adjaruli, khinkali with salmon and pork schnitzel with mashed potato. I expected to get the khachapuri first, but everything arrived at the same time, that's ok, no biggy. It wasn't cooked enough to my taste- the idea is for the egg to cook in the hot cheese once you mix it in, but the cheese wasn't hot enough. I'd suggest cooking the egg for a minute or two before serving. My husband really loved the schnitzel. I liked the khinkali but they were too dry as they are supposed to be very juicy with all the juices leaking out once you bite in a khinkal. We also got a glass of dry Georgian wine (Marani Mukuzani), a Russian beer ( Baltika 3) and a big bottle of sparkling water. The menu is very reasonably priced for dinner - our check was around $85. I'll be back to try more dishes.
