Great pricing and good quality especially in this economy I will be going back I can definitely make my money stretch at Ricky's especially when you have a big family

I stopped in to stock up on meat. I got a great price on a huge 10 lb bag of chicken quarters (which is what I was looking for). $10!!!I happily walked away with a huge haul of meat. -beautiful, hand picked 1.5 lbs of churrasco, cut to my request. -a LARGE package of "Rabo" which is the tail. MY FAVORITE! When I made it, 4 of us ate a good size dinner and had leftovers for two more meals. -a giant sized package of colombian chorizo. We have eaten it a few times and I had to freeze most of the rest of it. Best of all, they were observing all sorts of extra hygiene: Every single employee wearing good quality masks. Greeter at the door to control how many people entered, extra cleaning of utensils, butcher changed his gloves between customers. Super clean place, near downtown, good parking!

I was honestly overwhelmed about this place. I arrived after hearing a couple of friends saying they love this place to buy some good meat. We were able to find parking in the lot and made the line outside to walk in. Once I did, I was surprised to see how small the place is inside, its basically a two-lane area with the cashier at the end. I was very confused on how to order meat, I got a number but they were not going by those, and then I got one of the meat cutters' attention, I asked about a tomahawk, he weights it and then just jumped into another conversation with another client. We left without buying a thing, I was pretty uncomfortable with the situation. The prices seemed reasonable but not everything is priced visibly.

During a pandemic you'd expect a business to be on top of their hours and availability but instead these guys are all based on luck. We tried viewing their Instagram and google to view their operating hours and they say they will remain open and continue selling their meats but when arriving Sunday at 1:15pm (when it says they close at 3pm) my husband waits outside for more than 10mins without any advisory and has to ask if he can purchase meats. He then is rudely told they're closed as if he should have known. No update on social media, no communication anywhere, no respect. I understand everyone is stressed out but don't post that you'll continue operating like normal if you actually won't.

My family has shopped at Ricky's before, but it was my first time visiting. I accompanied my mom who was buying steaks for a bbq and i took advantage to buy salmon when I saw it at $7.99lb, but I instantly regretted the buy. I am very particular on my fish and i would much rather spend a few extra bucks at Publix. The meats are good for the prices you purchase these. If you're a red meat eater and have a bbq, buy your cuts here. They have some vegetables inside and outside of the store, but again go somewhere else for this. It gets a bit packed, especially on the weekend, so come with your best attitude and be nice to the butchers.

Ricky's is about as cool as it gets when it comes to Miami butchers. It's been around forever. You can get a great price on prime and choice cuts here, especially if you hit them on sale. We got prime NY strips for $7.99/lb one day. They have other cuts that you won't be able to get at regular supermarkets, meaning both type of cut and size. This is a great place to get good quality chorizo and blood sausage. You can also pick up some essential vegatables, seasonings, and other stuff, but there is not a huge selection. This place is connected to a car wash, too. If it's your first time, you're going to want to walk past the car wash and enter into Ricky's through the hung plastic strips.ORDERING PROCESSIf your Spanish isn't very strong, let me help you not look like an idiot (like me). It starts simple. Get a number. Then you need pick out the other stuff that you can grab yourself. Place your order once they call your number, and give them the stuff you picked out yourself. To pay, go to the counter to the left of the meat counter (it's directly in front of you when you walk in). Now, take your receipt/ticket outside and turn right. They will prepare your order and someone will bring it to you, using your receipt to identify your order. Repeat weekly! If Ricky's had a keg on tap, like another butcher that I know, I would give the coveted 5 star rating.

This place is it if you're looking for great quality cuts of meat. They cater to your needs in every way. The selection of meats is huge and the prices are better than most butcher shops in town. The one on one service from the butchers are exceptional. They will help you select what you're looking for and guide you in the right direction. They're butchers not just meat cutter; therefore you'll be greatly satisfied with their recommendations. If you're looking for that get together BBQ perfect piece of meat you'll find it here. They also carry a large amount of great quality seafood, sausages, produce and much more to suit your everyday need. Give it a try and you'll find yourself going back again and again for your favorite cuts of quality meat. Worth the drive if you live in Kendal. Oh and they deliver too.

This is the absolute best place to get meat, pork, chicken and any other food you need. Beast equality and prices. Gotta love Ricky!!

Wow these guys have it all, next time you are shopping for meats instead of, Grazianos, Publix or Winn Dixie, drive a little More and get the best. They have it all, fresh clean, and experienced butchers will deliver it your way.
