I was in town for a quick visit and wanted to catch up with an old friend who suggested we have dinner at the Naked Taco. She had never been to it but wanted to try it out. The reviews were not exactly promising, which normally would have steered me away, but I decided to go with the flow and see what happens. I am glad I did not suggest choosing a different restaurant because we did have a positive and enjoyable experience. If I am in the area again, I would definitely consider returning. I ordered the Elote off the cob as an appetizer and my friend ordered a shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was decent even though I am not a seafood fan. The Elote was very tasty and I appreciated that I was able to get it off the cob as I hate having to eat corn on the cob because it's just messy and tends to get in my teeth. For my main meal, I ordered a buffalo chicken taco and the Philly cheese taco. I fully expected to like the Philly cheese one best as I prefer steak over chicken but surprisingly, I preferred the buffalo chicken one. Both of them were great though, but I liked the flavor of the chicken a little better. My friend also ordered two tacos and a side of rice and beans, but I can't recall which kind of tacos she got. They had Pacifico on draft, which was a happy surprise for me. Service was decent. It wasn't stellar but it wasn't bad either. The server was nice enough, got our order right, and didn't pressure us to leave while we chatted over another round of drinks after dinner. The total bill was $94 before tip for two appetizers, four tacos, a side of rice and beans, and four drinks. Not a cheap night out but not totally unreasonable either. My husband and I go out to eat regularly and any place that we enjoy eating at is almost always going to run close to or just over $100 for the two of us, so this was well within that range. I don't mind as long as the food is good and the experience is positive. Since I thoroughly enjoyed Naked Taco and would return, I think it easily ranks a 4 out of 5 stars. Don't let the negative reviews dissuade you from trying it out for yourself. This is especially true when a place like this is relatively new and still working out the early kinks. Based on what I read in the reviews, it sounds like they just need to work at being more consistent with the food and service experience. Once they gain that consistency, they will likely be one of the more popular spots in the area and their reviews will improve in kind.

Worst upscale Mexican restaurant I've ever been to ever. Came here for lunch with my family of 4. Ordered one app, 5 individual tacos, chicken tenders and 2 kids lemonades. Spent $80 with tip. Chicharrones were overcooked, had no flavor.Individual tacos lacked flavor and quality. The kids meals should've been such an easy win, but the chicken was overcooked and hard, and the fries were giving major movie theater vibes.Kid tacos: $6 (about the same price as the adult ones) for one taco. Okay, fine. We ordered a beef taco for my son and it was overflowing with beef and spilled all over my kid. If I were to make a suggestion, give us 2 tacos for $6 but maybe make them skinnier and easier for little kid hands to handle. I dunno, perhaps someone who has kids should test the menu.Service and music was great. But not worth it for the food at all.

Terrible, I had high hopes for this spot bc the outside looks cool and festive however, don't let the appearance fool you.Seriously who is running this place, bc there is def a lack of good management. It seems like everybdy that works there has this don't give af attitude. When we walked in The hostess was no where in sight and the inside was empty...so we figured to just seat ourselves outside where the ppl were when we finally saw the hostess and asked about getting a server she proceeds to tell us next time we need to wait to be seated......anyways she directs us to a waitress...who btw was nice but seemed a little lost idk lolWe put an order in for a total of 4 Americano tacos tell me why after almost 25 mins and no food the server tells us she has to put the order in again wait what?! So you mean to tell me the order was never put in even after she said that the food still took another 15 mins to come and get this the order was wrong! Instead of 4 tacos she only brought 2 which should have been 2 tortilla and 2 corn ...when I told her this she gave a half az apology and said she would tell the kitchen make it again ...uh no thanks at that point we were ready to go. Not a good first experience. I will give them two stars bc despite the bad service drinks were decent and they had good music.

Cute restaurant with fun vibe and Dia de Los Muertos decorations. Tried it out the other night after watch a movie at The Falls and had a good time. I can see that this would be fun for a date night or pre-gaming dinner with friends because they have really good drinks such as an Espresso Martini and a whole bar area. I ordered the Elote with Tajin - normally a dish I love but this tasted a bit weird. Next time I opt for the ones with mayo and cheeto dust. I had the salmon salad. The salmon was crunchy and grilled to perfection, the salad was just fine. They have a variety of tacos that you can order in a soft shell, hard shell, lettuce wrap or as a bowl. The waitresses all wear funny T-shirts and service was good!

After a few more tries, the quality of food and service has definitely gone up. Would suggest if you don't mind a loud, club type of atmosphere. Big Frank Crunch wrap is always solid.

The saving grace to this order was the Big Frank Crunch Wrap and the 40% off I got on Uber Eats. I didn't check Yelp first before ordering. Bad on me.A morning of painting and we were too tired to make lunch. The menu sounded so delicious. The food is in fact delicious. The issue is with the portion size and the disproportionate prices. The crunch wrap was almost $18 and the tuna nachos were almost $16. Hubby got this huge delicious crunch wrap that was stuffed with a juicy burger. I got five tiny tuna nachos that weren't even big enough to count as an appetizer. More an Amuse-bouche- just a taste. Ordered 3 tacos, each about $6, but were really tasty. The meat on the Cowboy Steak Taco was cooked to perfection and tender. Korean Fried Chicken was a little heavy on the sauce but it was delicious. The Philly Steak Taco was my least favorite but more because the other two just outshined it. I would order again but definitely skip the nachos. Just two crunch wraps next time.

I have no idea why this place is rated so low. On my first time, I went with someone who loved the restaurant. I'm glad I did. The staff were friendly from the moment you enter. The food was very tasty! I recommend the salmon taco and taco salad. I am looking forward to going back to try other items on their menu and at a different time of the day (we went at brunch around 11ish).

I had heard a lot about Naked Taco since its opening. I hadn't gotten around to trying it out but finally made my way. Unfortunately, it fell extremely short. To start, the service was awful. It wasn't very busy when I went. I was basically trying not to choke while eating as I did not get a single refill and couldn't find a single person who worked there to give us attention. Not once did someone ask if we needed anything. We then got the check and the tip options were "20%, 25%, or 28%." If the service was outstanding I would have absolutely loved to leave a great tip. It was kind of ridiculous when we were only spoken to to take orders & take back the plates. The food was not good either. I ordered the chicken fajitas - cheesy style. I'm pretty sure the cheese was American cheese which was really gross. It was not authentic and there was no option for corn tortillas. The chicken was lacking flavor. It felt like it came out of the taco boxes you buy at the grocery store. After having 1, I could not stomach another. The place itself is really cute inside and out. They have fun music and beautiful art on the ceiling + cute neon signs. I wish the service & food would have matched that. Sadly, I do not plan on visiting again.

I honestly don't understand how this place only has 3 stars !! The food was great! Service was in point, the drinks were awesome, and the restaurant decor is really cool! The $3 Taco Tuesdays can't be beat! Not to mention, their regular taco menu has a ton of tasty choice$5 happy hour margaritas! The burritos are monstrous and tasty! The fajitas are OMG FIRE The doughnut and churros dessert are heavenly and I highly recommend! Now is it a 5 star Michelin style restaurant- No! But it deserve a place in the 4-star realm for consistency and down right yumminess!
